I tried brioche once and thought the instructions confusing, but now that I have seen yours I think I may try again. Never too old (83) to learn something new. Thank you, you are a great instructor.

Thought I would take on knitting during this Covid 19 Crisis. After watching several you tube videos and ripping out my project several times I found this video. Finally I have had success. I appreciate the ticking, and life line, as used several times as well. I am now needing to increase which I am having issue with. On the search for a video on this. I have subscribed to your videos. Thank you for your help. You were my lifeline. Hope everyone is healthy!

You are great!! I have been learning intermediate knitting for about 3 years. I have tried many people and I get so frustrated with many because: 1.Many are so disorganized th at the time I spend only leaves my knitting and my brain very confused.2. Some talk too fast or have poor communication . I even go to sites in Spanish mostly from Spain and they are usually very good. You sweetie are very knowledgeable you speak very clear and are concised and have a beautiful voice. Thank you so much for your teaching methods. Hooray for you and I definitely will follow you. I am 70 retired MD and firmly believe that one never can stop learning.
    God bless you always!!

I have bad hand control from my spinal cord injury and everything Mary Sedo said about your instructions was on point. I have only been Knitting and crocheting for a few months now and I will never stop if possible it has helped my hands and I plan on trying a hair band/head wrap for windy days in oHIo. I have yet to conquer the cable stitches. This will do nicely.ty

Excellent video. You don't rush, it's up close and you can clearly see what your wool and needles are doing. Instructions are very clear and us older generation appreciate that you go slower and not rushed so we can grasp it better.b I'm also a lefty so it helps when people go slow cause I have to somewhat reverse things sometimes. Can't wait to learn the new stitch from your video

I never attempted Brioche before because all videos showed the YO while holding the yarn with their right hands. That felt so weird that I could never do it. In your video you showed "Continental style". Wow - what a difference that made! I do everything - knitting, purling - everything Continental, but YO's was a problem. Your's is the first video to ever show me how. Thank you!

@@eman3754 Take some yarn of a different color, thread it onto a needle, and run it through the stitches on the needle then proceed to knit. If you later have to pull the stitches, your life line will make sure you find a row of live stitches to put on the needle again. You can determine how often you want to run a lifeline...

Excellent. Have tried to learn brioche with a couple different videos. Don't know where my head was... probably my fault... but had no problem learning it with your video. (One started with even # of stitches. Didn't work.)
Tho I don't have the tendency to purl the slip stitch, I did have a tendency to want to take the yarn to the back after slipping the stitch in order to knit the next stitch and yo together (BRK?) so... in my head I have to think "yf, slip, knit, yf, slip, knit " in the body of the work. Now I will find out what happens to that as I head into learning 2-color brioche. :-)
