@@Hardcastle391I’m here bro
being benched can be a blessing in the disguise. he's far from being over
No now! Team just told Bryce we dont believe in you. There is no way around it! Andy Dalton? Seriously? To bench him this soon is a really bad sign.
It also can be the end of a career
no. its over.
LMAO yeah dawg no team is signing him or trading for him, and he cant complete a pass to a wide open receiver. I hate to break it to you but buddy is donzo. Their O line has been solid and hes still playing like a high school QB
No doubt
This is why rebuild teams should just grab cheap veteran QBs and work on the trenches first and foremost. Sucks for Bryce, but I would’ve wanted that if I was a Panthers fan
Because they can be Joe Flacco like last year or Nathan peterman and you get the pick
Good idea. I also feel like teams should let their qb sit and learn. Look at qbs who sat mahomes, brady, Steve Young, brock Purdy, jordan Love, zak, rodgers, lamar, and so on.
look at what the Vikings did. Don’t get desperate at the qb position and make whoever is playing’s life a lot easier.
@@alecrechtiene558Yeah, the Vikings offense isn’t QB reliant. It’s refreshing to see guys like Darnold and Baker, who now have NFL experience get another chance with franchises in need of a QB
C.VQ. is my favorite. Enough tread left and so,.so cheap!
I Told everybody not to sleep on Joe Flacco last year.
Bruh my Bryce young Jersey just got delivered and he’s already benched
😂😂😂
I’m hoping he’s able to revive his career on another team, he seems like a great guy and I’d love to see him succeed. But it’s clear at this point that he’s not going to be able to on the panthers
I wanted to buy one 2
Why on earth did you buy one after his rookie season bro?
@@bmfsnc8466 thought it would be his break out season
The kids had 3 head coaches in a year. Nobody would flourish there.
Yeah. Has he played badly? Hell yeah he has. That's not completely his fault. He went to probably the worst organization right now. His career was over the minute Caroline drafted him. He had no chance. Worst part is, he'll get labeled a bust even though it was the Panthers that failed him.
Bryce would only flourish with a great o line great weapons great hc and play caller. How many teams have all that then you found your place for Bryce
He also weighs 100 lbs.
Stop astro turfing Bryce young cause he played at Alabama
He's had 3 head coaches in a year because he's garbage. If he was a stud these coaches wouldn't be getting fired.
We traded DJ Moore, Caleb Williams, Jalen Carter and the number 33 overall pick this year for Bryce young. I hate being a panthers fan
also the picks we got from CMC so throw CMC in there too
It’s not even the QB, you trade away what weapons anyone would’ve had for him, so he has no one to target but an aging WR and bums
Y’all can’t even fault him fully, get the guy some help

Tom Brady said it best. These guys don’t get a chance to develop

@randomgrinn Great point, but the problem is it doesnt hit the same unless you live there and actually have partial ownership of the Packers
I believe the only reason why they starting Andy is because he is 4-0 against the Raiders 🤔
I’ll say this again the panthers would have killed CJ confidence as well if he got drafted by them imo no rookie QB can succeed in a team built like the panthers
Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow would’ve failed in the Panthers…

As a panthers fan he was placed in a terrible situation
He also just isn’t good.
@@TheLoneGamr dammit you might be right 😣
@TheLoneGamr this is it lol plenty of QBs looked decent at least in horrible situations, Bryce Young just isn't good at being an NFL QB, he's too inaccurate and too small (can't be both those things)
How could anyone think that a 5-9 150 lb qb would be good in the nfl? It’s not rocket science! Every qb looks good in Alabama
He also can barely put up 100 yards
This is good for Bryce. Dalton is, while never a truly elite QB, has always been good, and has always known how to run an offense and score points. He’s a seasoned veteran and has a reputation for, to some extent, success. Bryce can learn a lot from him in the next two weeks and hopefully rebound and move on. Here’s a Bengals fan here wishing for a great career for the guy 👍
He was pretty darn close to elite. He holds almost all the Bengals QB records. Go back and look at his numbers. They're just as good as other elite qbs
I think Bryce Young needs to take the Geno Smith route and start hitting the weight and film room. He needs to improve and rebuild his confidence if he ever plans to start another NFL game.
Geno is not small
Sadly, I don't think becoming stronger is gonna fix his issues. He's magically not going to be able to run a 4.5-4.4, or throw a faster ball. The Panthers suck did as an org, but Bryce Young is also a terrible QB. Unathletic, undersized, and has poor fundamentals. Spend just one game watching how he throws the ball, or how he drops back. Hell, just watch him bunny hop 10+ times just to throw a ball over an o-lineman.
Where’s the cowboys video 😂😂 for your respond
Great Moral victory yesterday

Every team who knows and uses that run game can beat tf outta them it's been proven with the 49ers who run Greenway who run the lions who run this team is awful
Oh yes Imma need to see that one as well.
The kid never stood a chance at Carolina. No quarterback would thrive within that system, never mind a 2nd year player.
Throwing him to the wolves trying to save a franchise is almost impossible for any rookie.
Reminds me of Tua with Brian Flores, Panthers needa go get him a Tetairoa in the draft
@@1986-e3s look at all the solid pieces around him, people where already talking about the potential from Nico, and Tank was a top prospect coming outta college, the Texans also looked promising towards the end of 2022
Man I'm not a panthers fan but I feel terrible for Bryce young. Dude was thrown into a situation with no chance of success, losing almost every game and having no support. I hope he gets another chance with a different team who can put him in a place to succeed.
Bryce is too small,he won’t succeed anywhere in the nfl,has no awareness,a wet noodle arm as well
I honestly feel bad for Bryce honestly as a QB. I get that he had a lot of mishaps, but at the same time, with Andy Dalton starting, he could at least help Bryce get better as a QB. A veteran like him should give some pointers and help the young guys out. Let's just hope that this team gets better as the weeks come
This may be a hot take, but I feel like Bryce Young would thrive in a different system
It’s not a hot take but I believe it
Hopefully coach saban has reached out to him and let him know this isn’t his fault. Panthers are a trash organization, couldn’t even build a proper offensive line, they got the kid running for his damn life out there
That is indeed a hot take. Dude can't even hit a bubble screen, missing that throw by 5 yards; this is essentially inexcusable in the NFL and has nothing to do with scheme. Dude is just tiny & inaccurate with an average arm in terms of strength/throw velocity. He's a less good Kyler Murray, and that type of guy can't start in the NFL. He'll likely struggle to even be a career backup, unfortunately. I doubt he'll be in the league in 5-6 years.
Lmao yea 5-9 150 QBs with average arm power and below average accuracy do great in the nfl! He was in a position in college where he couldn’t fail! His athleticism carried him through in college! Anyone with a brain knew it wouldn’t translate to the nfl! It’s mind boggling people actually believed and still believe he is nfl talent
@@lanceupperrcutpeople are just delusional! The same people Bronny James is gonna be a good nba player! People do not live in reality
Too bad for Bryce. Always thought he was too small.
Quarterbacks like Bryce Young should refuse to go to teams like the Browns, Panthers, and Broncos. They're getting ruined.
That doesn’t matter when Bryce can’t read coverage, can’t see over his own line, and has to throw off one foot to get any power.
@@XWillette0 I’m sure you think Caleb can’t play either. These kids need to be developed.
@@XWillette0 Or jump 10+ a game to get that pass over his o-line. It's why he can't generate any power. Just watch how he throws. His mechanics are fried.
Where is the video of the cowboys 😂
The clip of Bryce Young scrambling to the left ( 8:43 ) “for no particular reason at all” looks completely warranted due to the right side of the line getting blown up and he’s pressured no???
Yeah he was tweaking with that take lol
Like he was supposed to stand there in the pocket and get crushed
Exactly!
Bro doesn’t understand football he prolly didn’t even play
Yes bryce isn’t performing buts it because of last season and the trauma the panther have put onto him. They were in no place to trade up and draft a qb and then start a rookie qb when you have unproven coaching horrible o line and horrible receivers last season. Even if Stroud was picked he would not be having the success hes having on the texans. This is coming from a panthers fan
Bryce is clearly outmatched in all aspects. The media created this tiny monster.
CJ was the only first round QB last year.
You asked for Panther's fans, well.... I think this is a good thing. Bryce wasn't ready last year, either because the supporting cast wasn't there, or because of bad coaching yet he was forced to trial by fire. Sitting behind Dalton would do him good and give the coach more time to fix what last year broke in Bryce or determine that he's unsalvageable. We've seen this happen before, look at David Carr, he as a rookie with huge potential and high expectations of his performance, but he was hammered his rookie season and never found success. Bryce looks scared, his footwork is garbage, he's holding the ball too long at times and he's missing reads all of these are similar to what happened to Carr after his rookie season.
Dalton has always been a solid QB, and in his prime was just on the bubble of being considered Elite, he didn't get over that hump, but he was competing with both Mannings, Brady, Brees, Rodgers etc. as the standard bearers. If nothing else he will likely be a decent stopgap until they either fix Bryce, which may take majority of the season or decide to draft a new QB to replace him.
Jeez, Dave Canales looks like he's aged 20 years and its only week 2.
Most Teams need to stop putting their rookies into starting jobs. Especially at the QB pos.
Let the kids sit out their rookie & bench their second year.
Young is not big enough to be a competent NFL starter. Prove me wrong
It just seems like he gets tunnel vision when he is passing, which makes it really easy to read for the defense. It doesnt look like he scans at all and just looks at the route that was called and then tosses the ball. He also just seems to panic when the pressure is on and ends up face down because of it
They are going to try & develop Young behind the scenes without all the pressure. This used to be fairly normal, but not much in today's NFL.
I feel bad for Thielen. Come home buddy
@@krufty47 Adam is not used to scrubs throwing him the football.

To be fair, even Mac Jones is very talented! However having a shitshow offensive line and receivers will make any QB be bad
When your 3x first round qb is the second-best option after 40 year old Andy Dalton, you're either a Jets fan, a Browns fan, a Bears fan, or a fan of the team with the current reigning Worst NFL Owner, the Carolina Panthers. My condolences.
Please let’s not compare him to kyler… kyler is twice the athlete… his ceiling simply isn’t as high and it’s just a disservice to Bryce… let him be the best version of himself
Josh Rosen part II. Josh never stood a chance. They throw these young guys into the major leagues and expect immediate miracles. I’m a huge fan of mentoring these newbies. No, they throw them to the wolves then walk away baffled. I wish him the best.
At this point Dalton had to be an upgrade for us.
Bryce needs to get the hell out of Carolina. I've said that before he ever got there. Carolina is not the team for him. He needs a team with a good O line and the right coach.
I don’t think it’s Young’s fault. He’s in his second head coach and new playbook in his only 2 years in the league. How is he supposed to develop that way? He has no legitimate receivers with no running games and a horrible o line. He was set up for failure.
We haven't seen "plenty" of short QBs succeed, we have seen SOME short QBs succeed
And they were all very athletic and had great arms. Bryce has neither.
Carolina Panthers fan here excited to see what Andy has left in the tank.
Not a panthers fan but respect the league andy was always a winner excited to see him
Do you think Bryce Young is really a bust, or is the Panthers' poor management to blame for his struggles? Could he thrive on a better team?
I know people said that Matt Stafford is a good QB who played for a “bad team even though the Lions weren’t entirely terrible in the 2010s” maybe the same is true for Bryce.
Both.
Young in Miami would be perfect
As a Dolphins fan I'd prefer Dalton to be honest. Or Tyrod.
Longtime panther fan here and I think everybody knew when you trade away the house to get one player it doesn’t work out
But with Dan Morgan as the GM I believe in 3 year time you will see a play off team. He is a long time panther who want what is best for the team it’s not just a job to him.
Just gotta give him time to cook 👨🍳
This is why i think the patriots are doing it right. Let the rookies learn as a backup early on. Especially if there isnt much of an offense to begin with.
Jordan Love wasn’t looking so good till midsession last year.
Love is tall and athletic and he can throw far. Bryce has none of those.
A good QB in a bad situation looks like Stafford’s days in Detroit. Bryce hasn’t looked like him in the slightest bit.
Exactly. A good QB elevates a bad situation at least slightly and preforms somewhat well here and there. While his o-line gave up the least amount of pressures this week, he still couldn't even pass for a 100 yards. People just don't understand how vast the talent-level and competition difference is between college and the NFL. Bryce always had 5+ seconds to the throw the ball. In the NFL, it's amazing to keep a pocket clean for 3 seconds. You also have to deal with older, more athletic, smarter DBs, and smarter, broader defenses on a week-to-week basis. Bryce cannont play as a starting QB in the NFL. He just can't. He's worse than Zach Wilson and that's saying something.
As a panthers fan keep him in and get the number 1 pick next year move on
Also we are over tepper unless he stops we will never be a good team again
So the next #1 can go through the same thing?
who do you suggest drafting in 2025?
@haldemarest depending on the injury quinine Ewers definitely not sanders last thing we need is his drama over here ontop of the fact i believe he'll be a major bust in the nfl
@@haldemarest also Jaxon dart is up there on my radar wanna see what the film looks like
If I'm Bryce Young, I'm asking to be traded. The Panthers literally traded every offensive talent they had before drafting him. As a Bears fan, I'm still shocked that we got D.J. Moore in the trade with Carolina. That organization is the Cleveland Browns 2.0.
Panthers gm be fuckin up
Let's be honest... That Oline is trash. That dude is hit within 1 sec. Every play.
Pressured 4 times week 2
Not true this year at all. Oline has been good. Maybe even great.
Trade him to Miami and give him a real chance. Run with the the Red Rifle a week or 2, sign Tannehill and finish .500, and live to draft another year.
As a panthers fan this was much needed after last week.
As someone that didn't like Bryce Young at Alabama &never thought that he should've been a top-10 pick this news is insane. They went through all training camp with Young as the guy, year two is suppose to be the leap year. With the new coach &front office coming in if they had put Bryce Young on the bench in the offseason then that makes sense. They watched the tape &saw that Young wasn't ready &the coach is bringing in a new system so Young will need time to adjust to all the changes &watching a veteran QB for a season will help that. But you can't pull the trigger on your "franchise QB" after two games &then what happens if Dalton sucks? Are they gonna put Young back in...this is a disaster like nothing in recent ,memory
Bryce Young got drafted in a terrible system. His rookie season was just a terrible situation, and wasn’t entirely his fault. Got upgrades in the offseason, including a new coach. And instead of letting the starters play in the preseason to learn the new offense, and get some reps in, he didn’t let anyone get a start. That just shouldn’t be a thing. A team that just went 2-15 who had just been through 2 coaches, prior, and to help that, they didn’t let the starters play.
The owner demanded it. Canales definitely didn’t want to make this move. You can see it in his presser.

I feel sorry for Bryce… he could have thrived under better leadership. This is why the Landry’s and Schula’a of the old NFL didn’t start rookies at QB. Now we draft them younger and start them earlier. Remember, Mahomes didn’t start immediately.
I don't agree with your beginning message but I do with everything else. I think a good/promising QB elevates a bad situation at least something and shows flashes. Like Baker with Cleveland, like Stafford with the Lions, like Joe Burrow with the Bengals (the third sorriest franchise in history before he arrived). Bryce has not shown anything worth looking forward to. He's thrown 2 more INTs than touchdowns in his career and a sub 60% competition percentage running dink and dunk throws. Don't believe me? He averages a little more than 5 air yards per attempt. That's 2 whole less than Joe Burrow, Matt Stafford, and Baker, even in his rookie year with a worse receiving core and line than Bryce.
If panthers had picked CJ Stroud he wouldn’t have succeeded like he has now in Texans
I know I know.. but I still imagine another world where CJ plays for panthers
I get the Panther's are a dumpster fire. But look at Bryce Young's physicality. Not only is he short for a QB. His build is small. Baker Mayfield is considered short but his build is much bigger. Kyler Murray is small but he runs around like Pac Man. I never GOT the draft hype on Young. Remember his first NFL practice people online were laughing posting he looked like a lil kid out there... As for Mike's comment on Andy Dalton starting at least Dalton knows how to run an Offense. Watch Carolina Offense this week. It won't be good but it will be much better than the last 2 weeks.
The panthers screwd this kid hard. They traded the weapons plus the line is trash. There is no protection its like the D is running through bed sheets to sack young. Its not fair to him at all.
I feel bad for Young since while he was overdrafted (as anyone from Alabama is) he didnt deseve this. Carolina should be demoted to the UFL and the Stallions should be promoted instead. That's not a joke, it would sincerely be better for the game.

Bryce Young is 23. There's still time to study, get stronger, and observe everything. This may not be a bad thing. Obviously, he's hurt by how he has performed, but he can grow from it.
Bryce has been on dominate rosters since HS & Alabama. Now when adversity hits and he doesn’t have the best team surrounding him, he got exposed. Shorty about to cry on the bench.

Andy Dalton Looks So Pissed. He Didn't Think He Would Have To Start😂😂😂
The owner demanded the benching. You can see it in Dave C’s body language. He didn’t want it
Gotta give a QB minimum 3 years before you totally give up on them. A QB MUST have the right coach for them. To be setup for success in the NFL.
Look at Stroud under McCowen. Look at Mayfield under Jackson in Cleveland. In Tampa
bay under Boles he is doing great. Look how bad Fields looked first year in, or Allen.
Also a QB has to be really legit to come in and start right away and be really well plus they have to have a good line.
Don’t give up on Young yet.
Inconsistent coaching, poor management, terrible decision-making, and that's just the staff.
I never understood how a team that’s bad from top to bottom thinks they can draft a QB and instantly turn there franchise around.

As an auburn fan it’s really sad to see him struggling so much granted it’s mostly not his fault he doesn’t necessarily have the talent or build but he understands the game better than anyone to come through Alabama I mean that last throw to win iron bowl last year was unreal put it where it needed to go. It’s tough though cause being an auburn fan I know you can have the most talented qb and rb duo but if your line doesn’t block well for you won’t matter much. Prime example Bo nix could have been much better at Auburn than what he was if he had a line that could pass block and give him time to make reads. Instead man was running for his life every drive and thank god for his athleticism he won us more games than we had any right to win
They are putting too much pressure on him. He seems to be second guessing himself even more as time passes he’s reading his plays too late due to not wanting to make a mistake. I feel bad for him. They aren’t giving him any encouragement either so that isn’t helping.
Past his prime Thielen makes him sound like a bum. He had a 1000+ yards last season..
Put Bryce on any team with a Real Offensive line... real RB core...WR core... and this dude will ball out... Caroline is a dumpsterfire... Send Bryce to Las Vegas, and watch him ball out!
