What to Feed Your Emus

Let's be honest...Emus are not the most common farm animal around so there is not a whole lot on the internet on what is a good diet for these amazing birds. So we did our research and asked experienced Emu breeders on what makes a good meal for Emus. So please enjoy this video as we share what we know to all of you. We use Mazuri brand they have a few different feeds for ostrich/emu/Rhea.

You can use sprouted fermented sunflower barley grass fodder with some extra meal worms ect.

Dog food, hay pellets and chicken feed is a good mix.
Also all stock and Alfalfa pellets are not the same. All stock is a grain feed and alfalfa pellets is only grass feed.
