@@Jeremy-rj9gi I was watching old Steve Irwin clips the other day & they were showing a female emu whooping on a male....it was brutal. Those birds are terrifying!
The Australian Government is desperately trying to stop emus from returning after they fought in Syria due to the fear that they will radicalize our domestic emus
U don't see children running around the yards & being so active these days. Most kids have problems with their screening time. This is wholesome & heart warming❤️
Oh yes letting your babies head snap back and forth because you can't hold their neck up is just great. I came here to see emus not to see parental negligence.
My 2nd grade class has been researching Emu's this week and we LOVED learning about Emma!!! Let me know if we could do a zoom with you, my class would love to see Emma in person and learn more.
We have a six foot fence for our emu's and have never had a problem leaving them out at night. I love your little farm. Emu add so much fun to our small farm. They are so silly.
Bamboo really have a special connection with you guys. I think it's because you guys have spent so much time with him since the time he was born and he was a lone one until two blondies came up. And Bamboo is frickin cute, It always feels good when you interact with him.
I love Bamboo so much! The twins are sweet too, but Bamboo has such personality. Since you all raised him inside with you I think he bonded so well with the family. Do you have to feed the emus a different diet than your other birds?
I cried, just left my farm for Santa Barbara city life and boy farm life is so magical!! Great work you all!! I wish you and your beautiful family many many years on the farm!! Go Team Farmers!!
Use some sweet (for emu) food in the emu pen. And only give them that food in there. You can also try a clicker or bell when giving this food, so that they will be trained to go to the pen when they hear that sound.
I train all of my birds the same from when they first hatch, if I whistle come to me because it means that you're about to get treats. Chickens, turkeys, peafowl, emus, whatever, it works with all of them. I whistle at night and every bird comes running from all over the yard. And then they get a handful of corn or something.
This is kind of family that really deserves to be on RUclips(and get something from it). Hard working, dedicated, passionate and just all over sweet. /But damn you.... now I want chickens :D :D :D /
Thanks for the movie recommendation my family and I are heading out to watch it. Also it is wonderful to see you guys once more, I have a lot of catching up to do with the great videos. It’s amazing that in less than a year this wonderful channel went from 10k to almost 350k. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for your family. Cheers and good bless. Keep working hard and enjoying life.
Bamboo hatching out was the very first video I watched!❤ You all became an instant channel/family that I had to subscribe to! To see how far you and your family has come (after catching up on old videos) is so amazing and adorable!! You all are Awesomesauce!! We love you all!! ❤❤❤
It’s very interesting how the bone structure of Emus is so indicative of how their dinosaur ancestors used to walk. I read a study online about a researcher who attached a prosthetic tail to his chicken. The bird’s hair changed and it stood a little taller too
Hello from South Texas Friend. I just came across your video and We really enjoyed it. My five brother's and I own and operate 412 thousand acre's in South Texas. The Ranch has been in our Family for 220 year's and we will see that it stays that way for as long as God wills. I wanted to comment and that is to say that a Man who loves and cherish's his Family as you do will have the World at his feet. God Bless. Just a note, there are currently more Rhino's in South Texas than there are in Africa. We work closely with the South African's to preserve the Species.
I liked the way you incorporated presenting information about your sponsor. Obviously it was a "commercial", but done in a honest (I think) and natural manner. I appreciated your touching on how Honey makes part of its revenue. I am wondering if you thought about mentioning another part of their revenue streams, collecting, using, and selling information about their users and their purchases. This is now just a part of Internet commerce, but I think it is worth people's consideration and understanding. Ultimately it is the individuals responsibility, but we should acknowledge and scrutinize these hidden costs and their impact.
+Rick Morrill - I understand that a number of companies do that. It's pretty hard to avoid at this point with what Facebook and Google collects from everyone. I appreciate the support on the ad, thank you.
Imo there's not much better than sincerely seriously living your dream life.. I havnt quite figured it out yet myself but love seeing others that have and you guys really appear to be doing just that. Amazing. 👍👏👏👏🙏
G’Day folks, you could give them a night time treat when you put them in to the shed, & does it have a window or ventilation ? It won’t take long to train them all.My Father calls them “button pinches”, as they will take the buttons clean off a shirt you are wearing. They love shiny stuff too, the old gold miners in Aus check emu scats for gold nuggets too. You will find all sorts of oddities sort of like an Aussie Kinder Surprise..lolling.....GOD Bless all, Victoria Australia xo
I 💕LOVE 💕 the Emus BUT Isaiah is sooo adorable! Nothing better than a baby! He is just so darn cute! All of the boys are! I'm curious what your evenings are like after all the animals are in for the night. You guys must be exhausted! Jake ran around chasing those emus like a 20 year old. Hopefully you get some rest afterwards. Wish all of you nothing but the best! Such a lovely family and truly enjoy watching your videos.
Lol. Hi from Denver....... Love the constant change of birds in your hand..... Great tour. Old habits are hard to break hahaha, and bamboo is a she once again. But doesn't it just go with the times!!! Lol family looks great it was a wonderful fun video kids look great love the baby have a good night you guys love from Denver j r
The sling makes it look worse than it actually is, give her the benefit of the doubt, she's got two healthy boys I'm sure she wouldn't just stand there and let her child suffer.
how chill are emus if you hand raise them properly, i imagine males have a good chance of basically being angry dinosaurs. iv raised chickens so that's the only thing i can go off of.
Watching you two, the children, the emus, it's entertaining and informative at the same time. Take care of yourselves....Hugs and smoochies. Anna Banana big smile!!
Thankyou! I had to search for this comment because I was thinking the same thing. Babies can't really speak up for themselves, and you won't know what kind of damage you've done until the kid grows up.
When bamboo and the blondes get mature enough, will they become parents? That would be awesome to see. Love these videos. Will keep an eye open for that movie!!!
I thought the hardest part of having Emus in your yard would be them escaping and heading to Australia to join in the creation of an Emu homeland.

I guess it's a good thing they don't behave like huge roosters... ^_^

The emus' have grown so quickly, I remember when bamboo was TINY TINY
I remember when my ostriches goed from smaller than chicken to bigger than a turkey in just 3 months
