INGREDIENTS
100 grams (1/2cup) Soft Butter
50 grams (1/4 cup + 1 tbsp) Powdered Sugar (You can increase if you like them to be sweeter. I'll like mine less sweet)
130 grams (1cup + 1tbsp) All
OPTIONAL
Jeera Cookies: 1/2tsp Salt + 1.5tp Roasted Jeera/Cumin
Tutti Fruiti Cookies: 40grams (1/4 cup)
Kaju Pista Cookies: 40grams (1/4 cup) Chopped Cashew + Pista
Chocolate Chip Cookies: 40grams (1/4 cup) Chocolate Chips
Marble Cookies: 1.5 tbsp Cocoa Powder to half dough
Bake at 180C for 18-20mins
1cup = 240ml , 1 tbsp = 15ml, 1tsp = 5ml

I just want to add something after kneading the dough wrap it in fresh wrap and keep in the freezer for 10-15 min otherwise it's little sticky to work with.. freezing it a little makes it easier to work with 😀

Thanks for the quick and easy recipe. I made it with even lesser amount of sugar and a bit of salt and added a quarter teaspoon of baking soda. Resulted in amazingly light cookies that melt in the mouth. A nice treat with much healthier and cleaner ingredients than the store bought, preservatives and sugar loaded cookies!! 😊

I just used atta instead of maida and rest of the ingredients same amount n baked it in convection mode 160° for 10 minutes n it came out very nice crunchy n delicious..thanks for sharing.

I was looking for a simple, eggless cookie recipe and I'm so glad I found this, the cookies came out so amazing! The jeera one was better than market bought ones because it has no preservatives or chemicals etc. BTW no idea why egg is needed when such wonderful cookies can be made without eggs, cheap & vegetarian/vegan. Thanks 🙏🏼

Which butter u used salted or unsalted... I tried with salted but it become salty😒

Hello, I have been watching your cookies videos last evening and want to know 2 things:
The cup you use holds 125 grams? Usually a measuring cup is around 240 grams?
Please also advise the correct amount of ingredients for preparing 1 Kg dough for pista cookies? Thanks
1cup is 240ml in volume but weight wise each ingredient weighs different. For example 1 cup flour is 125grams whereas 1 cup sugar is 200grams
Make recipe 3.5times to make 1kg cookies
Karan, it's always best to weigh rather than measure. All bakers use weight measure and not a cup measure. You should try making a small batch first, and then double or triple the ingredients

Hii liked ur video but usually its said dat dough shud be cracky n u hv to combine all d ingredients without mixing too much. But ur dough is very easy to work n u didn't kept in freeze also still dey are so gd. How cm? Please clarify my doubts.
