    Great job, Terry, and nice video! Props always look more weathered in person than on film - which is why I usually lean towards what I feel is "overdoing it" which makes for "just right" on camera.

      Thanks Chris! Totally agree. I general like things a little dirtier as well. It doesn't look lived in without some dirt! When my 3PO is done, he won't stay clean for long. :D

    My R2 has some imperfections and I've been contemplating weathering to disguise it, but I'm scared to death because I spent so much time and effort to get it right, I don't want to ruin it. This video helps.

      Weathering will give it the "used future" look that is seen in everything Star Wars. Go easy, you can always do a second pass later if you want it heavier. Good luck!
