I love that they associated $GODS rewards with the WR when the competition is at its highest. If they continue with this route, then i think the $GODS token would do well because there will be less bots and "farmers" of the token since they MUST win to get it; thus, making the token rarer and more valuable.
But it's bad for players F2P. I was winning about 15-18 games until rank 8, now nearly everyone I face is full of cards with armor/order/legendaries or zombie deck. Hard to win 10 games. So it became P2Win...to earn gods.

There are some really cheap decks in Mythic who also can win, nature and deception mostly. While more complete decks which costs more help you gain a stronger advantage, having a more expensive deck does not always guarantee a win. It sometimes comes down to how you play your cards too.

While, as a P2E player, it’s now significantly harder for me to earn packs and gods… I like this new rewards system because everyone is trying to rank up as they should be! I also think this will increase buy pressure on GODS tokens.

I think the new way is rly rewarding altho Im playing for lets say over a month and from previous gods drops i have managed to build a 0.025 war deck with all nft cards just by selling earned cards f2p and using gods that i grined. Happy to finally enter tournament in mythic rank, love the channel!!! Gl yall

Working much better for me, I'm a big fan. I can't get past Diamond so incentive to invest in a few cards and see if I can climb to Mythic
I used to play WR at midnight shadow for 2 months. I got some realy good cards, but playing WR was so boring.
This weekend I got 14/25 in Mythic and It was way more exciting. I had some problem with Genesis owners, but im pretty sure that I can do better next time!

i was always derank to midnight shadow cuz i was begginner and i cant face peaple in auric gold or above but now when i get soem card i build the zombie deck and start able to face peaple in auric gold and im trying to do better i know the derank in not good thing but i i start the weekend reward in thats elo i will not be able even to win any game i try to go up as higher in rank i see peaple come with great card and powerfule

ppeople like me who uses f2p deck would really need to invest on cards now. If I wanted to win more than once in Mythic. Sad thing is can't really afford any of those yet....
I'd actually somewhat prefer this system instead of the Daily P2E, rather than playing per day, players will just wait for the WR so they dont have to play for hours a day just to farm Tokens.

@@CopperPitch I played at least 25 games over weekend, says I played over 100, got 12 wins but where do i earn GODs? I don't see any in my account when I go to forge cards etc. Am I misunderstanding or doing something wrong? Wanna get it right next weekend! T.T
We gotta claim them on their website when they tell us they are ready (a few days likely)
I played Gods Unchained for a bit and it was cool but I think the best play to earn scenario would come from a game that already has an established player base and following. The play to earn thing needs to purely secondary since it's not near enough money to make it worth your time if your primary goal is to make money. This is also a reason why Gods Unchained will probably not get much bigger than it is. There is not enough to keep people playing and this game genre already has other much bigger games that have dominated the player base that would be interested in this type of game. Being realistic based off my personal experience. I'm sure others feel differently but mostly just those who were in early and reaped most of the rewards. I have noticed a lot of people blinded by the idea of making money while playing a game to the point where they are wasting a lot of time for just a little money.
I don't see the point of this game being to just make money! I played multiple games last night for fun, off stream, had already finished weekend ranked the day before, wasn't recording a RUclips video. Literally just played multiple games because the game is FUN. Plenty of people do this! The money is just an awesome added bonus! Getting paid for your hobby is awesome, even if it isn't that much!
@@CopperPitch i 100% agree used to play hearthstone for 3 years and have all sorts of cards and it was just for fun… now imagine 2-3 years later and i still play gods unchained and i would look at my collection value it would be amazing i am not currently playing the game for income its just for fun but in the longterm i can see that i will have some value for playing the game
I'm still new to this game so correct me if I'm wrong. But do you have to reach Mythic level to compete for God's Token? Cause I'm very rusty right now. And also is ETH the only way to transfer your rewards out of your wallet? If so I really hope this comes to Solana one day.
Any level (at least any of the mid+ levels, never looked at the lowest) can get GODS, the higher the level the easier to get though.
It is on their own L2 IMX, so there is no world where this would move to Solana. ETH, GODS, IMX can all be withdrawn to L1 and off ramps are coming but who knows when

New player here, i did try this game sometime in 2021, but the bugs were really bad.
Just started to play it again and it has gotten playable, i like it so far but i don't understand how to get God-tokens to upgrade my duplicates.
I have flux and these god-coins but i cant forge them to meteorite. Would i have to buy them or am i missing something here?
You can earn GODS during the weekend ranked event. Do you have GODS in your Layer 2 wallet, or in Metamask Layer 1?

I did a video awhile ago where I claimed the airdrops, it's all on that same page, you can check the airdrop videos. GodsUnchained.com there's a Tokens page. You can't claim yet though, probably within a few days it'll be live!

Im now going mythic and lose 3 games b4 weekend ranked, on weekend ranked i lose the first 5 games on purpose drop down to solar gold, from there i can easyly get 15 wins

Yeah hopefully less deranking will make it more fun to push back to Mythic! Maybe a little more challenging but at least you get to actually play the game now!
@@CopperPitch exactly that, was a dead game during the week really with people dropping so you never really got a good feel for where you should be, at least now there’s real incentive to play in the week and push up the ranks for those trying to make mythic,

If you reach mythic your MMR will be 1350. If you lose a few games and your MMR hits around 1300 you will derank

Seems nuts that you get 75% (very roughly) of the max gods reward for 1 win at mythic, but as someone who is regularly too busy for 25 games I'll take it!
I agree!! 1 win is kinda crazy 🤣 I think they weighted it a little too heavy on "just showing up" vs "performance"

Agreed, there was definitely still some deranking last week but also a lot of reports of sweaty games trying to get to mythic! It's a promising start at least!
I haven't gotten $GODS rewards in 4 weeks now. I get my packs but not my tokens. Anyone else having this problem? My wallet is linked and I completed all of the weekly goals.
Could've been flagged by their system as a bot or multi accounter, check your email and open a support ticket if no email

Nah, it does not. Old players will now want to get to higher ranks so new players will most likely be matched with other new players.
