Make $200/day In Gods Unchained | New Method

- I made $200 since yesterday in Gods Unchained with card arbitrage!
As most of you know, you can buy cards in IMX with Gods tokens now, but the prices are sometimes 2x what the ones selling in eth go for. The problem for F2P players, or everyone earning Gods in the Blessing of the Gods event, is that due to gas fees, it’s not worth it to withdrawal Gods tokens, convert to eth, deposit again, and finally buy the cheaper cards for sale in eth. So people just buy the more expensive cards selling for Gods. I spent the last 24 hours making arbitrages between the eth cards, and the Gods cards and made $209 profit with $1050 starting cash, so 20% ROI in a day!
The nice thing is that if we make arbitrages, then the eth/Gods card prices will eventually converge in the middle (the eth price will rise, and the Gods price will fall), thus making people more willing to use Gods to buy cards. So it’s a win win for everyone, we can make money on the arbitrage, while making the market more efficient, and increasing the Gods token utility.
Anyways, just wanted to bring this to everyone’s attention so that we can collectively fix the price gap between the eth/gods cards. And as a bonus, we get to make a bit of cash :p

Yea I also saw the price difference, but still gonna use my gods tokens I got from retrospective airdrop. The fees are just too high to buy and then transfer ETH to market.
This is what I've been saying. So much price gap between the currencies available in IMX which is both an opportunity and a problem that arbitraging helps with. Stack up on eth, do this repeatedly for 150+ usd per day and just take it out, swap, and put it back on low gas days and you'll prolly still have profit on top of those gas fees.
I still havent withdrawn, just reverse arbitrage back to eth! There are cards that are more expensive in Eth, just have to look harder.

Just out of curiosity... What about the gas fee's when you buy the card with eth? or are there none with imx. sorry im completely new here.
No gas fees on IMX, only when you withdraw or deposit!

Did you do well on Axie? Actually playing Gods is not a fulltime income as of yet, but you can make a few hundred $ / month just playing the game, which is awesome!

This is great but what do you do about the bots in the market that automatically put the same card to sell for -0.001 gods than what you posted 1 micro second before?

You could do G+ as well as you will get a good sense of liquidity. I do mythic because I still only want to buy cards that are still viable in high level play. In case they don't sell quickly, I want to feel safe holding them long term as well.
Great video man! The price differences between imx and eth are nuts as well, but cards aren't really succesfully sold in imx.
Maybe once people start playing other IMX games as well, then they have a reason to have IMX token.

So many fees', conversions and random stuff to keep track of, does this actually even make sense to sit there for 12 hours a day to make 200$ in ETH,? Transferring it out and sending to exchanges or swapping to other coins will just eat your profit in fees. Im genuinely curious how people make this work without lots of starting cash and/or not loosing it all to fees and chance in the end. 20% roi is okay, but what is that at the end of the day when you pay your rent or buy things, are we just stacking sats?

You can do it daily, but your limited to how fast your cards sell. I’d plan a day to get to Gods, then a second day to reverse arbitrage back to eth. So it’s faster if you have a large enough account to withdraw the Gods and swap on an exchange back to eth
Hmm, love this on NFTs, I'd suggest Metagods, might be a good run for p2e as well
My thoughtw about this method , is that it can make no sense unless you keep converting your gains back to usd. Otherwise, Eth and Gods price fluctuations will make your gains to make no sense in the future

Great stuff but I noticed how things have changed. Cards tend to cost more if you buy them via Eth and you end up losing money if you sell them for GODS$. Have you found a way around this?

How long does it take you to do this in terms or Hours? In other words, this $200 a day that you made, did that take 24 hours, 8 hours, etc?
I spent about 2 hours I think on that one. But I'm faster at it now. Just set up trades 20 minutes before bed, and 20 min in the morning now.

This will work for a minute.. but like you said, the prices will equal out very quickly from people doing what you're doing
Prices are closer now, but you can make a profit on the inverse as well now (from gods to eth).

The current eth Gas is quite high, it would be multiple $100s to withdraw from IMX, swap to eth, then deposit again. So unless you have 2K +, its not worth it to do that method. What you can do is keep it all in IMX, but reverse arbitrage (buy card with Gods, sell them with Eth). There are people in the Discord finding good reverse arbitrages with cards that are similar in price.
Is cardbitrage an app or extension? How do I use? I joined discord and asked how but no one is responding
No app, it's just done on tokentrove or IMX. There is a web app to find arbitrages pinned in the discord though

can this still be done now that gods token has dropped by half? I checked one genesis card in eth and gods -its about same when turned to $ --about 17 $ in eth and 17 $ in gods
The margins are tighter now. There are actually arbitrage opportunities in both directions now though.

Hey man great video. I had noticed these prices differences also but hadn't thought to capitalize this way. Im somewhat familiar with excel and trying to setup my own template. Can you tell me the formula you used for it to calculate the price differences from gods to eth in USD?
There is a tool on the discord that can calculate everything for you actually, just have to type in the card name. The formula you want though is called "relative change"
I thought about doing this too, i'm sure someone is already writing script for a bot to arb this tho.

I have a screenshot of it in the Discord! Note that the prices of the cards change so quick, that is out of date already. But the cards on it are good starting points, as they are some of the most liquid cards on the market.

It took me about 2 hours for this example. but it’s quicker now as someone in the discord setup a tool to instantly see the price difference in usd.

It's tighter margins now, still an option but it takes longer to sell cards and you are making 15% on the flip. The benefit to that is, there are more cards to get back into Eth now that are closer to the same price.
How to know a card's gods value for selling ?
You can filter by currency on IMX. Or there is a tool someone built in the Discord to check eth and gods prices at once.

This is one of the reasons why MTG started to suck for me. People now buy all cards which are in a similar range of price, and put them on sale for 5 or more extra Gods. That is the worse we can do as a community, because it will put a higher entrance barrier for new players to have competitive decks. I know this is P2E, so I understand what's going on but I also like the game portion, and I would love the community to grow and stay healthy. This is by no means an attack to you, I really like your videos. Hot topic though. Happy New Year!

its not worth it... fees... changes in crypto currency value... unless your stacking Eth... better just play the game... buy good cards... and see it as an investment.

Honestly though the market will always be changing. Crypto will move...it just brings another element to the concept. This game is fun and competitive that's important and what drives demand. The trading discipline to building a top tier deck on the low is part of the challenge if you want It it be. Seems fun and lucrative. Some devs came from Magic...good team I'm in.
I dont understand how this can be profitable with gas fees? I know he explains it but it's a bit vague
So if your account isn’t large enough to make the gas fees profitable, then you have to find arbitrages in the opposite direction that are close enough to still be profitable . For example you can make a 3-5% loss on some cards going back to eth, so then you need to find arbitrages going to Gods with a higher % gain than your loss.
@@MinimalSwag maybe it's because I'm.in the uk not sure. But I tried converting 0.014 eth to gods and costs me on metamask 0.019 in gas fees lol

@@lawbringer2552 Yeah you don't want to convert on metamask unless you have a huge account! Go on the discord, someone made a tool on there that helps you find the card price differences. Then look for a card that costs 0-5% difference in price when purchased in Eth and Gods. Use those cards to get back into Eth.

Ludia's deception was cheap as fuck last week worth 2 bucks per card, now at 17+ usd per card, if you bought many ludia's deception last week or last month then you are lucky as fuck.
Yeah, literally just buying and holding cards can net you huge gains as well.
