Being the betrayed, this is a very difficult situation. My wife came somewhat clean, and the trauma caused was by far worst experience on so many levels. A lot of clarity of my intuition was cleared up. Also understand that I have a whole new set of stacked traumas that I am currently working through. Sometimes, I wish I still felt crazy, other times, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a decision without so much deception. I feel, honesty is the best policy. Nothing will truly prepare you for your wife’s response, get educated, get HELP, from a counselor that has a lot of knowledge and experience with infidelity. If you truly love your spouse, get help, research, read, learn, understand betrayal trauma, and hold on to your boots, it’s not a easy and simple task. Not for the faint of heart.
