I've used this and another one called Lose It. Of course not 100 percent accurate but it's definitely a good way to track what you've been eating and really shocks you to how many calories are in everyday foods like snacks and fast food items. I'm like "damn, I was eating 1500 calories for lunch everyday and didn't realize it" lol.

I think the apps themselves to track your food is excellent. But the feature of taking a picture and having the app guess what the macros are, is very inaccurate and can hurt weight loss results significantly. As you can see in the video, it underestimated the macros/calories by like 50% or more in most cases

The function never worked well for me because often there is food on top of other food so in order for it to work u’d have to separate it all out 😂

Yea, I honestly don’t see how it will ever be accurate. Not sure how from a picture they’ll be able to know how much oil or butter was used. And like you said, foods being covered up as well

The technology will never be there, camera's will never be able to weigh things we'll always need weighing machines.

yea I don't disagree. Not sure how a picture would ever be able to tell how much oil or butter was used either. which drastically effects the macros.
