I got told to leave a bar for telling a Polish girl she was pouring it wrong, the first Guinness was awful so I watched her pull the second and she was filling it like a beer, I put my hand on the tap and told her stop pouring you will ruin it she screamed don't touch me, the manager came down and I explained she was going to ruined the pint, he said he has to ask me to leave for safety of his staff 🤷 absolute joke. A more efficient process with the same results is to: 1) Put the glass under the tap, FLAT, do not touch, tip the glass. 2) Pour til when the Guinness is getting ready to go over the top, stop the pour. 3) The Guinness will settle back into the glass without spilling over the side. 4) Seconds later ready to serve. I saw a Vegas Bartender make the perfect pour, single pour, never spilled and was all the way to the top. EVERYTIME.

Guinness knows that their drinkers know what they look for when they order it in a bar. There are places I've gone into especially outside of the UK where I've watched them pour it like a normal lager and then I get presented with some thinly headed shit and I've just sorta asked them "do you know what you're doing? Just pour me a vodka and cranberry instead please."
