- Undo button does not work in After Effects | Fixed in 2 minutes!
So you have after-effects CC, but the undo key doesn't work!!! You try shortcut Ctrl+z, and either something weird happens that you didn't do before, or nothing happens. You've tried to go to Edit - Purge - undo.
And the problem is still there. Undo still not working. You've tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, and you still have the same problem....
Ok here is the 2-minute fix on how to get your undo button working again, and then you can smack yourself after watching.

so theyre the culprit. i use motion factory to store my own presets so later i can drag n drop directly from after effetcts. do you have another recomendation for an extension that does the same thing? its really useful for me but this undo bug is very annoying, i sometimes deleted a layer where i have tons of keyframe and when i want to undo it its not working.
Hmm. I’ve been using the Eagle App. They have a freemium plan but it’s better to just buy it out. I think it’s only a one time charge of $30. It’s waaayy better too because it’s not connected to after effects at all.
It'd be amazing if there was a solution that didn't involve deleting the entire extension lol. Having this issue at the moment. Can't believe I wasted my money on this.

i dont use that but it sill happened anyone know?
Try disabling all of your third-party plugins. And also, try a clean uninstall / reinstall after that.

@@rosefilmssss try uninstall and reinstall. Make sure you are using AE2023
