Great vid brian, would love to see these two battle it out against the most expensive car waxes out there. To me like i said both clear winners... at the end of the day its what we as consumers look for... either visual enhancement or protection and these two have both! Goes to show that expensive is not always better!
Protection Point= Fusso! I'd like to think for the price it should win BUT as so many other videos have shown TW beats down many products more expensive. Want to see more QP ON 2.0 and 3.0 in head to heads.
That’s to long The trick is to apply the thinnest amount possible A can should do about 25-30 cars If you apply it very very thin it flashes quickly and is much easier to wipe off with no residue and no high spots.
Interesting video! My vote goes for TW: 75% cheaper, far easier to apply, does not stain trims with white paste, no cure time and in real-world applications, is comparably durable and hydrophobic. I don't think you can reasonably give the win to Fusso considering the points above. I would love to see how these products handle dust and water-spotting, those two considerations would likely sway me if compared.
Tie. They stayed strong. One sheets and one beads but both stayed strong. Unreal. Also what a quick turnaround for a requested video. Can’t believe you did that so quickly. You are awesome.
Top marks to turtle wax for such a good product at that price point but fusso coat nails it here from the start. It's, water beading and sheeting is unmatched. And also in the long run a tin of fusso coat works out way cheaper than TW you would have to buy alot of bottles of TW to match the amount of coats you would get out of just 1 tin of fusso.
Sorry Brian, but I disagree on ease of use. The Fusso you have to be careful not to get it on plastic and in between panels. As for the Turtle wax you don't have to be as careful. Maybe that point should have gone to Turtle wax. Just my opinion, either way great video
I wouldn't be surprised if TW reformulate their product to up the gloss factor and increase the sheeting factor by 10%-25% If they do that, and keep the price under $10, they have the market.
Hi Brian, another point you could out on your white board is depth of colour (UK) at 6:29 you can clearly see the TW side has a deeper colour. Also the fact that Fusso leaves residue on the edge would for my mind make the application of the TW slightly easier so a win for TW. Greta video's keep up the content.
Completely off the wall question, but could you do turtle wax seal n shine as your base layer and then top off with fusso 99 since turtle wax is a sealant?
👍👍👍 Winner is Seal n Shine due to its resistance to all the chemical cleaners you threw at it. Not just that, it doesn’t create dried wax lines or spots.
Tough call on which provided better protection - either one would be a good choice. It is difficult to tell by watching how much the slope of the panel may influence the test: Fusso appears to be on a more horizontal (or flat) part of the panel, which makes it not shed the water as well as the Turtle Wax. Watching the water bead and sheet of the Turtle wax side makes it appear better. I would call the entire test a draw. The gloss meter gave the nod to Fusso, but in reality can anyone see a 1 point difference?
I see a lot of people talking about how TW S&S is cheaper than Fusso Coat. But realistically the bottle of S&S will last nowhere near as long as that tin of Fusso.
I just finished a can of Fusso. We made marks on the lid for every car we used it on. We did 77 cars with 1 can of the old Fusso Coat. The thinner you apply it the better it works. Also if your going to do a second coat we found in our tests it didn't improve the quality or shine
@@vsmh96 really? I wonder why it's so expensive? Vincent I could send you a package of bottles and you could sell them on eBay in your country and we could both make a good profit??
@@Greg_P611 I dont think TW and the local sole distributor would appreciate it :P Where are you from anyways and at what price are you getting them for? I think tax and shipping would take a chunk out of our "profits" if we were to do this.
@@vsmh96 I'm in the US. Next door to you in the Philippines they have a service called LBC delivery. We can ship a big box of whatever we can fit in it for $65 USD. I can get SS on sale for approx. $9 each
Impressive results from both products. Value for dollar, no contest. Turtle Wax has done a fantastic job with this product. Hats off to them for beating the best the industry has to offer in sealant based wax coatings.
So Fusso beads better and TW sheets better (maybe?) and at this point, with all that unreal abuse I'd kind of say it's a toss up. A slight edge doesn't really matter because who would not already be giving their car some love by then. So as I mentioned before, price. Would a tin of Fusso last as long as 5 bottles of TW? Seems it would with how little is needed. So I'm gonna say... tie. Fusso if you want to sound impressive and TW if you don't care how you sound. Or re-bottle the TW and call it your ancient Chinese secret.
Fusso coat wins, but pound for pound there is NO contest! Seal N Shine punches WAY WAY WAY ABOVE IT'S WEIGHT CLASS SIMPLY BECAUSE ITS 6$ AT WALMART. 9.99 AT ITS MOST EXPENSIVE! It's a phenomenal product for what you pay vs what it does. It's my 100% go to! My number one. If it was 25$ then it would still be very good, but not quite as good a value. As it stands it is one of the most durable products out there period. Then when you add in the price point??? It's a welterweight with the power of a heavyweight! Value proposition is not solely based on price, but on performance for the price! That's why Seal N Shine is the Pound for Pound King!!!! Great job Turtle wax for blowing us away with your amazing product! Just wish it smelled better!
There’s a newer improved version of fusso coat the winner for me is seal and shine due to ease of application . Iv seen someone do a dry application of megs hybrid ceramic spray and it was improved can you put it through the test 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Maybe I'm off here, but fusso had better beading from the start. So if you're going by how much protection was lost from start to finish I'd say they almost tied. Fusso was heading like crazy at the beginning and lost a little by the end. Seal and shine was more sheeting at the beginning and the sheeting by the end slowed a bit. I say they both wom that. Relatively speaking. If you liked how seal and shine behaved with water at the start, then it won. If you liked how fusso coat beaded at the beginning fusso won. They both retained their own characteristics throughout and both lost some relative to what they started with
When you see the Fusso start sheeting instead of insane beading it’s only half done If you do it right 9-12 months for sure on the Fusso A can should get you between 25-30 applications Which comes down to a dollar a year Trick with Fusso is that you have to apply it amazingly thin Thin Thinner Thinnest It will flash quickly Wipe off much easier No high spots And wax residue It is hands down the best wax/sealant I have ever used.
When sheeting water with the hose be mindful of the panel angles. On one side one us up the slope and the other down the slope. It’s pretty much a tie but TW looks like its sheeting a bit better telling me there is a little more protection.
Fusso99 has also a sealant I prefer wax over ceramic cause ceramic especially H9 must be wet sanding after a couple of years to remove so bye bye clear coat also the same for the scratches from ceramic.
Just wanted you to know Brian, based on this video, I went with fusso for my latest paint sealant for my DD. It held its own against the turtle wax and provides some nice shine. After a full wknd of prep and application, I hope it works as well for me!
I absolutely love the fusso beading ect. But I cannot get it cleanly of the panels. Do you have any tips? My black car looks terrible under the night parking lot lights.....
TW hands down. The final test showed much more hydrophobic properties after the solvent was used. I just bought 6 bottles of TWSS on Amazon for 7 bucks each. This stuff is IT!!
Fusso Coat is clearly more hydrophobic throughout the testing, even at the end. It was still sheeting significantly faster than TW. It's definitely the winner for protection.
I own both of these and to be honest the TW S&S wins hands down. Fusso coat has superior beading, but it's a huge pain to apply, and remove, good luck not getting it on your trim also cause it's a nightmare to get it off. I'm using TW S&S on glass and trim, then Meguiar's Fast Finish on the paint(even easier to apply than S&S) repeat application every couple months and it's awesome. You can keep the Fusso coat, IMO
I have both products, but for some reason, fusso coating stands out more on my white car, and seems to last longer than TW in real world conditions in the UK. the beading is incredible months after and it really looks like the car has protection. Agree that we need to be more careful when applying, but the results are worth it. Fusso is 3 times the price in the UK but can easily cover at least 3 times the amount of cars.
Fusso coat for beading and durability! I would love to see Fusso coat vs the new upgraded version of seal n shine which is Turtle wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spray! That would be a phenomenal fight!. Gotta let the Hybrid solutions cure for 24 hours though to get the full benefits of the product.
Fusso Coat’s now on Amazon for about $30. And TW Seal N Shine is sold out but is going for around $6. Seriously the amount of protection you get from each product is ridiculously high value for so little money. I’ll throw in CQuartz UK 3,0 here too for ~$54 for 30ml and it goes to show you don’t need to spend crazy money to keep your car’s paint nice.
Loving these videos Brian and clearly both excellent products, but in this one you gotta give ease of use to TW!! I'd also like to see the decon products agitated maybe with a detailing brush after each application prior to dwell and rinse off (but maybe that's showing my ignorance about the way these products would typically be used!) Keep up the good work!! 👍🏻😊
Both are clear winners, fusso gets d nod at d end by a nose.. i would use seal n shine as a quick boost after a wash to maintain the repellecy of fusso imagine dat! Ease of use to me as i hav apllied both goes to fusso also! Even when working in small sections seal n shine leaves streaks behind hard to buff out.
Because this test is so close you have to split hairs and IMO the ease of use has to go to TW purely because it's a spray. Surely Fusso goes on and off easily, as does TW (just used TWSS for the first time last night) The TW basically buffed off while I was applying it AND it was laid over the top of 2 week old DPC Armor, just can't help myself from layering. A little side note, my car got dumped on twice yesterday, once sitting in the rain and next driving in the rain and I swear to God that there only dirt up under mynside skirt with DPC Armor🕶
Yes the Fusso did have beading but the water ran off the seal n shine side and that's a plus when drying your car after a wash. Hands down seal n shine.
No doubt about it, turtle wax Seal and shine, over the Fusso. Although both are very good. Looks like Seal and shine took the edge. At the end less water remained on the Seal and Shine side, repelling off panel more quickly, And less water remaining.
Wow that is very close. Fusso seemed to maintain beading a bit better. But water is awful in my area, I want sheeting over everything in most cases, which S&S is incredible at. So I'd still choose S&S. Neither ran away with it. The Fusso is literally 5 times the price of S&S, but it is definitely not 5 times better.. I've been a huge Ice spray wax fan and eagerly awaited the arrival of S&S. To say it exceeded expectations is an understatement. The way it is shaking things up and making everyone pay attention is great for the industry, especially us, the end users buying the products.. Thanks for taking the time Brian! Would love to see DPC Shield take on TAC Moonlight, maybe even throw QP-ON 2.0 in there with them! 👍👌✌
@@DK-pr9ny yh but in reality I feel as if fusso would last 3X/4X as much as S&S? Because people have got 12 months out of fusso where most people get maximum of 3 months with S&S. So longer application time means more protection in this case. love both products tho for sure
@@davidmorales7371 You can get 6 months of of Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine on a normal daily driven vehicle ? And even if you could, the tin of fusso would eventually outlast 5 or so bottles of seal and shine. And also I like the water behaviour of Fusso a lot better. BEADS LIKE CRAZY!
The tin of fusso would last you your entire lifetime if u have 1 or 2 cars. The turtle Wax would last you 6/9 months pushing it. Just depends what u like and want with the product I guess
Tough to call a winner. I know turtlewax is only 6$ but how many applications do you get out of the bottle vs a 30$ can of fusso? As for slickness that's subjective as I have both of these and have tried them side by side and to me fusso is definitely slicker while the TW has more of a sio2/coating feel. Also the chemical resistance is great but I find that real world driving with road debris and grime is what will kill these products more than chemicals. I applied TW to my wife's car after polishing . She does 400 miles a week and 3 weeks it was pretty toast on the lower areas which I what I was expecting. But a quick reapplication and all was good. Both awesome products! Great work on the videos!!
Wow, it's a draw. But considering the price difference, no wax residue and ability to apply even on glass and plastics i think Seal & Shine wins. Honestly i was expecting Fuso to be a clear winner.
Great review by Apex. But I have a question regarding ease of application, they both seem to be easy to apply but Fusso requires 5-10 minutes wait. I think the point should go to TW. And also when it comes to hydrophobic test, do you look for more beading or water repellant properties by not leaving much water on surface therefore less spotting?
I wanted to re-up the coating on the left and right sides of my Forester. I put fusso coat soft 99 on the passenger side and tac moonlight on the other. Two coats of each after cleaner polish w/the da. I'll report back after a few months w/my findings.
Fusso coat looked a little better to me but factor in cost and ease of use TW is still a winner in my book. I cant believe any thing from a spray bottle could work so good.
A lot longer, I've had a tin for over two years and apply 2 coats in spring and at the end of autumn, for all that gets used I worked out there is enough in a tin to last for 10 years protection in all
@@thewilky3030 Damn 5 or 6 bottles is quite a lot. Over here in the UK you can only get about 2 or 3 if your pushing it bottles of Seal and Shine for the price of 1 tin of fusso.
Turtle wax has been around for over 70 plus years Globally test of time bang for the buck Japanese Fusso Coat Soft99 is a great product , not available as common and has the Beans to detail a vehicle with a vast variety selections .... not about who's better best ....
TW Ice Seal & Shine for the win... It's the star of 2019 in my book... It's works, no false claims, AND it's freakin $6.97 USD at Walmart (Houston, Tx)... PLUS no residue, and you can use it on trim, glass, etc.
Great video! I can’t pronounce myself on the last vote because the comparison test should have been done on the slope side of the panel for both products. TW being applied on the sloping side of the panel surely will allow the water to bead faster while Fusso being on the flat side do retain water more. Do you agree? Which product is better? Well it’s hard to say. Both is good, but TW is more convenient to use as it’s in a bottle.
Another GREAT video comparison!! I just hope Fusso and TW prices won't sky rocket cause if this vid 😅 Good stuff Brian!! Oh, Turtle is my pick, but Fusso would probably last longer with the can. Both a win win really.
I have both products would you be able to spray seal and shine on the sponge applicator and then coat with fusso wax would you get a combination of the protection in one step?
Hi Brian. Are these products actually a sealant or are they a wax? I thought the Fusskcoat was a synthetic sealer but called the wax? Also from what I saw and read about Fusso, it requires a 5 to 15 minute curing time before the buff off. Do you think that would’ve made a difference with your results or was there a time lapse we missed?
Turtle Wax Bryan. I stopped using all other products except for seal & shine & fusso coat for any non ceramic Packages. It's an incredible bang-for-the-buck for the customer and for us. Especially when you figure out your cost of each car using Fusso. It's like .60 a car for 12 months protection
I will give it to turtle wax seal and shine for the ease of use and the protection even if fusso coat seems to be beading a little more, not to mention the price.
Have you tried the original fusso 99 wax? This one is the new one which is honestly half or less of the durability of the original. Can still be bought on Amazon for near half the price of the new one.
Any chance you could do a comparison including Soft 99 Kiwami wax? I'm wondering if it would come close to Fusso Coat in protection. The gloss is supposed to be quite a bit better than Fusso Coat...
Brian, getting into detailing as a hobby so a great admirer of your very rich content channel. Please keep sharing with us your knowledge. In what order can I combine these two tenacious products? Sealant then wax? Please advise if you get a chance. Cheers
Would using Optimum to wash the car Hyde the performance of TW shine n seal? I washed the car then used ONR buffet it off and then applied TW seal n shine but it don’t look so hydrophobic so wondering if ONR degraded the hydrophobic power of TUrtle Wax. I used ONR so the water would not dry and cause water spots. And for the clay lubricant.
Brian, I currently have beadmaker over my properly corrected paint. I'd like to try the TWS&S. Do I need to get the beadmaker off before applying the S&S? If so, could I use some totally awesome to remove? I find the beadmaker doesn't last long at all.... Thanks!
Just going through all your videos😂 Awesome videos. If I use the fusso, could I use TAC shinee as a topper? If I choose to, what do I need to do in between? Just IPA Cleaner? Thanks in advance.
And the winner is........
Close, but I give it to Soft 99 Fusso Coat.

Fusso should not have got ease of use draw, because its a wax and you have to tape off trim, while seal and shine can be sprayed on everything.
Good point. S&S can be liberally sprayed on with any headaches around trim.
ZombieFeathers that’s the biggest difference imo. Paste waxes take forever compared to a spray wax!
@@DK-pr9ny yh but in reality I feel as if fusso would last 3X/4X as much as S&S? Because people have got 12 months out of fusso where most people get maximum of 3 months with S&S. So longer application time means more protection in this case. love both products tho for sure
@@muhammadarfan4663 3 months? That's a joke right lol. You can easily get double that amount of time out of it. And it's only $6.00 a bottle lol
Cant you try and spray on some tar remover? When i do that on my car the fusso coat goes away completely. I use Turtle wax prewash-t as a tar remover
Turtle wax in my book
Love your work Brian, is the old school Duragloss 105 in the same league as these sealants when it comes to durability/longevity?
Hi. I've got both. I use Fusso and then finish off with a layer of turtle wax ICE👍👍
Hey!! How’s the durability for this combination?:)
Fusso is the winner for this battle...but at this point for my money I’ll buy TW without any hesitation. Another great video Brian.
The tin of fusso would last you your entire lifetime if u have 1 or 2 cars. The turtle Wax would last you 6/9 months pushing it. Just depends what u like and want with the product I guess
@@muhammadarfan4663 im thinking the same, a tin of wax is never going to go empty. and for just 3 times the price it lasts 100 times longer xD
The question I have is, how would you remove these products if you wanted to clean a panel back to its clear coat? Polish/compound or something else?
Fusso coat looked a little better to me but factor in cost and ease of use TW is still a winner in my book. I cant believe any thing from a spray bottle could work so good.
Fuso. And u did not apply it properly.u was supposed to wait 5-10 min before u remove the residue from fuso.
After apply paste wax, i always wajt overnight and wipe it off
Charles Zhu well, don't do this especially with the fusso
Yes TW is cheaper bottle vs tin of Fusso, but I'd suspect the tin of Fusso would last much longer.
Yh definitely
A lot longer, I've had a tin for over two years and apply 2 coats in spring and at the end of autumn, for all that gets used I worked out there is enough in a tin to last for 10 years protection in all
I can get 5/6 bottles of TW for the price of the Fusso so no it wouldn't last much longer, possibly quite the opposite actually
@@thewilky3030 Damn 5 or 6 bottles is quite a lot. Over here in the UK you can only get about 2 or 3 if your pushing it bottles of Seal and Shine for the price of 1 tin of fusso.
@@muhammadarfan4663 I also live in the UK and got 2 bottles of the TW for £10 a couple of months ago
Was hoping someone was going to do a paste vs spray wax. Thank you awesome video!
Fusso coat is still on my car 1 year on. I'll stick with it for now.
2 videos in one day is the winner!👍👍 If I have to pick I’d say TW but it’s close
The fact they both survive citrol 266 drops my jaws.. truly impressive
Can you compare the Wowo's lineup against all other's as Wowo's has caught my Attention and thinking about switching over from TW.
Seal and shine is liquid magic
Every single review from customers I’ve looked at and I’ve checked hundreds and there’s thousands of them. Fusso is by far the better product.
Fusso coat needs a good 3-5 minutes to bond before removal, possible retest?
Props for turtle wax company for almost give away fantastic product
Delete your comment so price doesn't rise.
If anything, it shows how much these other boutique companies are making off their products.
@@tylerhackman6832 agreed, i have almost covered up my needs... just need a good wheel cleaner that doesnt screw up wheels finish and brake components
@@Carlos.Rivera Heard P & S Brake Buster is good and cheap.
@@5jjt FACTS!!!
Price, ease of use, availability , TW bar none., and its made in the USA
Another GREAT video comparison!! I just hope Fusso and TW prices won't sky rocket cause if this vid 😅 Good stuff Brian!! Oh, Turtle is my pick, but Fusso would probably last longer with the can. Both a win win really.
Does 2 coats of TW S&S improve durability much?
And another thing, can you do a quick video using P&S Beedmaker to see if gloss can be boosted.
Excellent video, Brian. So, what would you do if you absolutely had to completely strip them off?
Can we use TW SNS as base coat and top it up with Sonax BSD every month? TW SNS is easily available at my place.
I will give it to turtle wax seal and shine for the ease of use and the protection even if fusso coat seems to be beading a little more, not to mention the price.
The price is higher but one tin will outlast several bottles of S&S
Have you tried the original fusso 99 wax? This one is the new one which is honestly half or less of the durability of the original. Can still be bought on Amazon for near half the price of the new one.
Excellent video Brian. Fusso Coat & 2nd Seal N Shine.
Can you combine the 2?
Apex detail Turtle Wax S&S won. The last mark for protection as the last thing you used to attack the coats S&S still had some fight left.
Any chance you could do a comparison including Soft 99 Kiwami wax? I'm wondering if it would come close to Fusso Coat in protection. The gloss is supposed to be quite a bit better than Fusso Coat...
Man i keep asking for the same thing, what would be the slickness and shine level if you top the seal and shine with beadmaker!!!
Brian, getting into detailing as a hobby so a great admirer of your very rich content channel. Please keep sharing with us your knowledge.
In what order can I combine these two tenacious products? Sealant then wax? Please advise if you get a chance. Cheers
Hi Apex Detail im thinking of putting a Soft99 Kiwami (for gloss) over Fusso, what do you think man?
My question too
I was gona use Nu Finish which is also a fantastic finish, but Seal and shine wont crap all over plastic.
Fusso Coat....barely. TW Seal and Shine is the real deal.
I am astounded that any TW product is this good.
TurtleWax Seal N Shine or as it's called here in Europe TurtleWax Sealant
i tried it myself, why is the sealnshine depleted in 3rd wash already and the fusso took 12 washes
What's the difference between Russo and Star Brite, both are PTEF products
Turtle Wax. For the price and the the fact that it sheets water better.
Brian. Of all the waxes you have used. Which one has the higest gloss readings? How about for sealants and spray coatings?
jay edge I will put a video together on that subject.
I applied FUSO to my car.. Do you think I can put this Turtle Wax on top of FUSO as an aid?
