I put Fusso Black on my Lexus Grey in June of last year, topped up with Bazooka it's still going. I'm going to now coat it with Mirror shine and the Fusso Detailer spray which they say lasts 6 months. This combo is Savage. A neighbour asked what I was doing and did his 2 beamers black and his wife's Kia. I explained to him how to wash, and apply throughout, He's thrilled and showing pictures to every one. He is my second student 😂
How can i increase gloss for fusso coat while not reducing it main properties of hydrophobicity and duribility. Help me out please. And how about washing it
New to your channel. Been washing my cars for years but never got into making it amazing because I’ve never really known how. That’s until I got a car worth preserving the look of. Chanced on Fusso coat and your channel. Fusso coat is the easiest ‘wax’ I’ve ever used, in 30 years of owning cars. It gives amazing results. It’s that good that a detailer friend has even asked who does my car for me. I love that I can just give the car a quick spray down after work to keep it clean and that my maintenance washes are so much quicker and easier. I reckon the tin will last about ten years so it’s amazing value for money.
A bit late to your channel. But I appreciate how you’re so down to earth and show your viewers how good detailing can be done with basic tools for the ordinary man.
New to detailing. Can you apply this wax on top of Suntek Reaction PPF? Then planning on using Fusso Coat Speed & Barrier Hand Spray All Color on top of it once the wax is cured. Thank you so much!
Bought it on your recommendation. I’ve never used a paste wax before. Went on perfectly, prepped mine and the wife’s car for winter these last couple of days. Once a year for the two cars is ten years, amazing. The shine is fantastic.
I got the Fusso light wax & a DA machine, watched ALOT of how toos & which were good products, spent Too much on other products before finding this Excellent stuff, been on my Fiesta since Oct 2021, still going super strong, Glaco on the glass, brilliant combo, that's a great tip(wet sponge) and Another great video, from an Epic Fella.! I’m a weekend warrior and have just purchased a BMW X5 M50. Gave it a good clean and a mop and polish and then applied fusso wax. What do you do when re-applying the Soft99? Do you have to remove the previous year's coating? Or do you simply wash the car, decontaminate and panel prep before putting the next application on top of the previous year. Presumably it will bond properly with the previous year's application.
@user-pz6dw3ot8j The paintwork is decontaminated etc before re application but it's generally very easy going and they are usually still very slick, even after twelve months, Fusso may lose its beading after eight months, especially on the sides and lower front doors etc but it is generally still there.

What shampoo do you recommend for maintenance washes for Fusso Coat? And what drying aid would you use? I am thinking to use P&S Bead Maker or Rain Drop Bazooka. + would like to see more Soft99 products on this channel.
Used it for the first time this Monday. Love it. It’s rained a couple of times since and the car looks fantastic and still really clean!! The water beads roll off like little marbles lol

So in your opinion, which would show better on a black car; this Fusso wax, or Turtle Wax's Graphene+ Ceramic wax? Great channel which I only came across a few weeks ago 👍😊

I have this wax in my Amazon cart for over a year now....🤦🏾♂️ itching to get it. Now I'm going to head to my Amazon account now and buy it.... thanks to you Dave have me spending more money 💰
Just bought the light version of this wax, haven't applied it, was going to wait until September ready for the wetter weather etc. Also bought the Glaco windscreen compound and coating, have applied this and am more than happy from what I've seen with the recent inclement weather we've been having down on the south coast.
Watched this fab video when it came out, bought fusso the next day and finally used it last weekend. Well, you're 100% right, it's awesome stuff. I did a GT decon wash, fall out, fine compound and then the Fusso, it's rained ever since and I can't believe the beading, amazing. Got to say, I'd seen a few moans about buffing and being a first time user, indeed, a first time waxer, I followed the instructions to the T, no issues whatsoever.
Great video Dave! I haven't had the chance to try out fusso yet, but all I see is that most of the people whose tried it, loved it so far. Ohh, and yes: you kept the TN 🔥🙏
I have just used soft coat 99. I snow foamed, decontaminated and washed I applied the coat but have ended up with a mottled finish on the bonnet. The car had a Diamond bright a year ago, would that be a reason for the fusso not working. What I have I done wrong, can I take the fusso off, and how to do so?
Thanks for the video Dave. Soft99 do some great products. Kiwami and Water Block are another couple that spring to mind. Once clients see the hydrophobicity of Fusso Coat for sure they will tempted as opposed to forking out extra for a ceramic coating.
Cheers Karl. It's definitely one of those products that is definitely for a real car care enthusiast. If I use it once a year by the time it runs out I'll be 56 lol
I recently rescued a black E46 touring from a local driveway, where it had sat under a tree for months. A day's washing and Machine compounding was finished off with a coat of Fusso Black. It looks amazing and the previous owner couldn't believe the shine. The beading also looked impressive after it rained!
i put 2 coats of fusso on my car near the end of September and is still beading up decently.... great stuff and only takes a bit longer to apply and buff than the likes of turtlewax seal and shine
@@mm7460 not a lot in it to be honest, i just like spending the time "waxing" after doing any corrections needed once a year. i got my tin of original fusso for £20 about 6 years ago and haven't put a dent in the amount used. apparently the newer tin is easier to buff and is less streaky but even on my black car i never got much streaks, key is to keep the coats as thin as possible but the turtle wax is cheaper ( i get the newer reformated bottles for£6 )and just generally a lot quicker to apply and buff so i use it as a topper every few months
@epiccarshow Been using Fusso for a few years now. Original formula seemed better to apply but still like the new product. Most popular amongst Audi RS owners for some reason? Also popular with classic car owners. Another great video, thanks for posting.
@@epicautomotivedetailing That's very true, good idea that . Just lately I've been trying new stuff , keeps things exciting. Been stuck in my ways with products, being a weekend warrior I don't get though much , and although love the hobby dont want to fill garage up with products won't use again.
Fusso is awesome thou I rarely use it , I generally use zymol concours glaze , Wolfgang fuzion and sonax thou I do agree for the cost fusso is a definite positive for up sale
Facts. Fusso is even easier to be applied. Not fool proof but easy. If you will use modern day QD then fusso is just a base protection and yeah it will last. It has good initial look but wont compare against top waxes. But if you put QDs then who cares. Get a watergold and you good! Prep is all. Light one will remove easier and be more fool proof in terms of prep, amount and removal.
“Not for your weekend warriors”- after I’ve applied my fourth coat this month. 😂 Jokes aside, I tried this for the first time last month on our white car. Very happy with the results. They’re retarmacing the roads here and the car gets covered in contaminants. This wax makes them so easy to remove. One thing I’m missing in my arsenal is an affordable wax/ sealant that stops brake dust sticking to wheels. I can spend more time cleaning the white wheels than I can the rest of the car and my back doesn’t appreciate it. Any suggestions?
Tried Fusso because of Forensic Detailings & your video, Fusso coat then Fukupika after to finish, unbelievable ! Soft99 have superb choices, i can't see me using anything else !
I have a bronze silver car but I have 2 paste waxes The first one is Fusso coat Dark color version and the second one is King of gloss for white car. Can I apply fusso coat for the first coat as based and let it cure time and then top with King of gloss white version for boost up a glossy shine ??? Thank you.
Nice video. Fusso is definitely a top notch product. I wonder if it will be banned eventually as PFAS are cracked down on. That’s the only real pro of some ceramic coatings, no fluorine. I think applying wax a couple times a year is easier than coating.
I used the Fusso dark on a Metallic Oak brown car from new. Kept it great for 3 years . Have used the light fusso on a Velvet Red Cupra Ateca from new but with AG ceramic over that . OTT maybe but it's 3 weeks since last washed and still looking superb.
Hey! Just found an old Version from 2018 at my neighbors cellar. It wasn't opened and he kept it dark and cold. Do you think I can still use it? Don't want to wax the car and then realize it doesn't work anymore :)
@@epicautomotivedetailing Yeah. TW graphene/ceramic paste is currently my favourite. I'm going to buy the Fusso for application on clients' cars over the winter period me thinks.
Great advice Dave. Love your content and how easy to watch your videos are. I have spent a lot of years I'm the automotive industry and I have a rather large collection of Paint Protections, like DiamondBrite, SupaGuard and BMW Seal & Protect that I have acquired from valeters. As a hobbyist who also reviews cars on my channel, I look for convenience as well as durability. I'm feeling like I should walk away from using the paint protections in favour of this sort of wax - what are your thoughts?! Cheers. Matt
My personal preference for my own cars is finding something that is quick to apply but that's because I clean so many cars. If I was an enthusiast I'd use more waxes
@@ΓρηγόρηςΓιαννελάκηςyou have to put it on thin I mean thin thinner thinnest Take the yellow sponge that comes with it and soak it and then ring it out Put the yellow sponge in the can and turn it in a circle motion two or three times lightly A tiny bit goes a long way I mean a really long way One can should be able to do about 30 cars easily. Work in small sections It will flash pretty quick if you keep it really thin Work in the shade Buff it off After take a clean micro fiber cloth and buff it again Do the whole car this way Keep it off plastics If you get it on any plastic just use a clean rag and wipe it off right away There is no better wax/sealant on the market Let it dry 24 hrs After that you can top it with anything you want Fusso makes a product called King Of Gloss or Mirror Shine It’s meant to go with this coating and add extra gloss.
Hi, i think i applied it in a wrong way, because this is the first time i buy a car and doing wax on my own, so i didnt prep the car i didnt know it before this, and i applied it a bit thick layer and i only hv 1 microfiber cloth 😢 now the car look hazy not gloss at all... what should i do to fix it? I do hv fusso coat 12month and the fusso coat spray, your advice is much appreciated ❤
I keep wanting to try this wax, but I'm so reluctant to break from my normal routine. My mind set is that the car needs a good spit n polish with every clean. After final rinse I use a light misting of Seal n Shine all over before dry down and buffing. So quick and easy and stunning finish. I suppose a hard wax would offer that extra longevity of protection but unless the car has just been prepared to perfection I wouldn't chose it. It really is a once a year product for upsale. Having said all that, I'm still gonna buy some and play 😄
It's a wax I'm seriously contemplating buying as I'm getting less to e to maintain my daily and this would work as a good base level of protection, great video as always Dave
Soft 99 makes a whole range of very good detailing products for a very fair price. Their soaps are also great (although not scented at all) as well as their wash sponges (which I have actually come to like much better than a wash mitt, pad, or microfiber cloth) on well maintained vehicles. And NO their wash sponges will NOT scratch your vehicles. In fact, I think they are actually safer after experimenting with them over the past few months. Again, NOT on real heavy dirt. They are really nice on WELL maintained vehicles. I just use a single bucket with a grit guard and dunk the sponge in the solution frequently. No problems with scratching. These are superior quality sponges, not the dollar store crap sponges that would scratch a hardened porcelain sink from the 1950's! For the average person just looking to do a weekly or bi-weekly maintenance clean of their vehicle, Soft 99 products would be an excellent choice.
I bought some Water block Super Splash, and although it doesn't claim the same durability, i was disappointed how much had gone in 2 months. I still have some Bilt Hamber Double Speed, would a layer of that and a layer of super splash over the top be beneficial? Double speed was the first wax I ever used and get around 6-7 months from it!
@@epicautomotivedetailing For the price its ace, just harder to remove than others i have used. Damp as apposed to dry microfibre helps considerably though
Been using fusso for at least 8 years now (obviously not the same ton) and value for money along with ease of use and quality it can't be beaten for the money
What do you do when re-applying the Soft99? Do you have to remove the previous year's coating? Or do you simply wash the car, decontaminate and panel prep before putting the next application on top of the previous year's. Presumably it will bond properly with the previous year's application.
I've used Fusso for a few years now. The only thing I can say I don't like about it is that its not a glossy way, and needs something to boost it up, and as soon as you cover it with a detail spray you loose that incredible beading. If you get high spots then put more on to use the solvents to re-melt the wax, and re buff down.
Fusso makes two products as toppers King of Gloss Mirror shine This will give you the extra gloss you are looking for Lasts between 3-6 months depending on weather and containments
I might get this wax, not to mention it costs only £30, as some brands would charge you much more. If you get 20 applications out of the pot it's only £1.50!
Great question. Turtle Wax graphene wax is actually brilliant. I tested it on a mercedes last year and it's hanging in there still. I haven't used this long enough to back the 12 month claims but have applied to few family cars so will have to wait but so far both are equally great with no clear winner
greetings friend can i apply fusso and then a topper over fusso? how long curing? and i must clean ipa before applying! I have that doubt I don't know if the two products are compatible
Mine is very hard to apply since it is not spreading properly and very powdery, it is also hard to remove. The wax itself is hard and not soft. What should i do?
You're right about opinions etc Dave but also I have found the whole detailing industry confusing at times, I think it's often deliberate too, to keep people spending, using, trying and experimenting. I've never bought any Soft99 products mainly because they are so confusing, I mean what's the difference between Fusso Coat, The Kiwami, Dark & Black Protection Wax, New Scratch Clear Wax Dark, Revolution Mirror Finish Wax and Mirror Shine Wax to name just a few all from the same manufacturer! It's no wonder people end up confused, there must be hundreds of waxes available from the myriad of brands there are these days! 😫
Yeah I know many people who lose lots of money because they buy the wrong product. Needless to say that won't be happening much longer. There is a new brand coming to the market this year that talks the same language as I do. Watch this space
Still I would advise caution to the people installing it, the hobbyist, weekend warriors like myself. You CAN screw it up and quite hard . I didn't stick to installation guidelines and it was a pretty grim experience. I applied it to the whole hood and went on cleaning the garage, who knows how much time has passed. I had inadequate lighting so some areas were laid on thick. It obviously stayed fir too long and you could not buff out some areas, sort of high spots. It's not harmless wax, it packs a punch and do it properly or else the punch goes into your face ...
Old version Fusso coat is far superior for durability over this new version. problem is it's now banned in EU due to the chemicals used so you have to import it. Got mine from Ukraine before the troubles started.
Used soft99 for about 3 years now, I apply it twice a year, full winter prep, then coat of soft99 topped up with sonax bsd every weekly wash, results are amazing, great combination, same for my summer prep full decon, clay, light correction, polish then coat of soft99 + bsd, Much better results than what I was using before which was bilt hamber dsw, and that is a good wax but is tricky to apply even in cooler conditions
Tried fusso a couple of years ago. Made the mistake of putting it on in sunlight and was difficult to take off. Tried it again in cooler conditions but was very disappointed with the longevity of it. Noticed it fading after about a month. In fairness it was extremely wet at that time. Haven’t used it since.

Great video Dave! I haven't had the chance to try out fusso yet, but all I see is that most of the people whose tried it, loved it so far. Ohh, and yes: you kept the TN 🔥🙏
Thanks mate. It's a great wax. Will be trying few others out for summer
Got the light one and considering using it on my son's black car.... what's your view on using it on top of a vinyl wrap? He has stripes!
I haven't tested it on vinyls so I can't give an answer but happy to test it out.
My advice is to use Fusso Light on the light coloured stripes and Fusso Dark on the darker stripes.😎
Another great video Dave, I might have to give it a go.
Cheers Mark 🙏
Thanks for the video Dave. Soft99 do some great products. Kiwami and Water Block are another couple that spring to mind. Once clients see the hydrophobicity of Fusso Coat for sure they will tempted as opposed to forking out extra for a ceramic coating.
Cheers Karl. It's definitely one of those products that is definitely for a real car care enthusiast. If I use it once a year by the time it runs out I'll be 56 lol
@epicautomotivedetailing does this stuff smells
@@biggdogfresh2263 It does have an industrial chemical smell.
It's amazing stuff. I love using it
I'm using seal and shine at the moment, how much better is fuso of you don't mind me asking
Definitely looks good , not sure if will get round to trying it .
Use a detail spray after each wash so never short on protection
Its great wax but i wish they did smaller sizes. Most people like to try one brand then move on
@@epicautomotivedetailing
That's very true, good idea that .
Just lately I've been trying new stuff , keeps things exciting.
Been stuck in my ways with products, being a weekend warrior I don't get though much , and although love the hobby dont want to fill garage up with products won't use again.
@@epicautomotivedetailing
How about it in a spray or cream form ?
Just find it a bit sticky to buff off , and not easy laying down a think ammount
Can I apply this fusso coat over an existing ceramic coating?
Fusso is awesome thou I rarely use it , I generally use zymol concours glaze , Wolfgang fuzion and sonax thou I do agree for the cost fusso is a definite positive for up sale
Great video mate! Looking forward to trying it out👍🏾
Thanks Angelo 🙏
Solid, straightforward advice and information. Thanks so much.
Thanks Shea
“Not for your weekend warriors”- after I’ve applied my fourth coat this month. 😂
Jokes aside, I tried this for the first time last month on our white car.
Hello, can I use the black version on my silver grey Sportage? Or is the lighter one better to use. Many thanks.
Tried Fusso because of Forensic Detailings & your video, Fusso coat then Fukupika after to finish, unbelievable !
Soft99 have superb choices, i can't see me using anything else !
Nice one. That's cool. It's great provided you don't over do it with the wax lol
Hi Dave great review, haven't tried it yet but will most definitely look into it.👌
Thanks my friend
What wax is better for a red car?? I have f60 countryman chilli red please xx love both your channels x
I have a bronze silver car but I have 2 paste waxes The first one is Fusso coat Dark color version and the second one is King of gloss for white car. Can I apply fusso coat for the first coat as based and let it cure time and then top with King of gloss white version for boost up a glossy shine ???
Thank you.
Great vid a usual. I haven't tried Fusso Coat, but do have a tub of Soft 99 Water Block which is very similar and excellent.
Nice video. Fusso is definitely a top notch product. I wonder if it will be banned eventually as PFAS are cracked down on. That’s the only real pro of some ceramic coatings, no fluorine. I think applying wax a couple times a year is easier than coating.
quick question matey, how does the new formula stack up to the old
Can be applied on headlights, tires, mate plastic, tires, glass?
I used the Fusso dark on a Metallic Oak brown car from new. Kept it great for 3 years . Have used the light fusso on a Velvet Red Cupra Ateca from new but with AG ceramic over that . OTT maybe but it's 3 weeks since last washed and still looking superb.
Yeah it's one of those special occasion waxes for sure 👌
Hey! Just found an old Version from 2018 at my neighbors cellar. It wasn't opened and he kept it dark and cold. Do you think I can still use it? Don't want to wax the car and then realize it doesn't work anymore :)
Never used it yet but will definitely be my next purchase
Looking forward to see how it performs against my turtle wax ceramic wax
That's an interesting comparison. The turtle Wax graphene paste wax is pretty awesome
@@epicautomotivedetailing Yeah. TW graphene/ceramic paste is currently my favourite. I'm going to buy the Fusso for application on clients' cars over the winter period me thinks.
Brilliant stuff , the tin last forever as a weekend warrior. Great gloss and protection for a great price . Not many products match it for value
Yeah it didn't even need a video the product has such a great reputation
@@epicautomotivedetailing what do you think of time saving for a fusso coated car alot quicker
I have been looking at coatings and waxes to use on my clio rs you have made my mind up cheers 🍻
Thanks. It seems like good value, I'll give it a whirl based on your recommendation.
Looks a good product! Recently bought poor boys black hole and love the results mate! 🤘🏻
I love the slickness after buffing it of. The looks after initial application are like adding additional clear coat.
It's buff off Easy? How much time do you left it on panel?
@@ΓρηγόρηςΓιαννελάκηςyou have to put it on thin
I mean thin thinner thinnest
Take the yellow sponge that comes with it and soak it and then ring it out
Put the yellow sponge in the can and turn it in a circle motion two or three times lightly
A tiny bit goes a long way
I mean a really long way
One can should be able to do about 30 cars easily.
Work in small sections
It will flash pretty quick if you keep it really thin
Work in the shade
Buff it off
After take a clean micro fiber cloth and buff it again
Do the whole car this way
Keep it off plastics
If you get it on any plastic just use a clean rag and wipe it off right away
There is no better wax/sealant on the market
Let it dry 24 hrs
After that you can top it with anything you want
Fusso makes a product called King Of Gloss or Mirror Shine
It’s meant to go with this coating and add extra gloss.
What are you doing / products for maintenance
Which one is better soft99 fusso coat or turtle wax hybrid solutions pro graphene infused wax
Tough one but but I'd say I have slightly better results with tw
Dave. Great video with much to consider for a wide range of punters. Best I buy some and see what the results are like.
Thanks Nigel 🙏
Thanks just ordered one to try on my daughters new Vitara
Take your time applying it and follow instructions and it will look brilliant 👌
The v1 is the best wax ever, nothing touches it
I bought some Water block Super Splash, and although it doesn't claim the same durability, i was disappointed how much had gone in 2 months. I still have some Bilt Hamber Double Speed, would a layer of that and a layer of super splash over the top be beneficial? Double speed was the first wax I ever used and get around 6-7 months from it!
That's not bad going. Everyone loves BH double speed wax.
Just a decontamination, maybe use a clay cloth and just reapply
Many thanks@@Tvigness
I've used Fusso for a few years now. The only thing I can say I don't like about it is that its not a glossy way, and needs something to boost it up, and as soon as you cover it with a detail spray you loose that incredible beading. If you get high spots then put more on to use the solvents to re-melt the wax, and re buff down.
Fusso makes two products as toppers
King of Gloss
Mirror shine
This will give you the extra gloss you are looking for
Lasts between 3-6 months depending on weather and containments
Is that 80£ would be charge inc cleaning etc ? Thanks
Could you use this on top of a ceramic coat that has light swirls in it?
I might get this wax, not to mention it costs only £30, as some brands would charge you much more. If you get 20 applications out of the pot it's only £1.50!
Yeah it's good value for sure
Is this better than turtle wax graphene + ceramic paste wax?
Great question. Turtle Wax graphene wax is actually brilliant. I tested it on a mercedes last year and it's hanging in there still. I haven't used this long enough to back the 12 month claims but have applied to few family cars so will have to wait but so far both are equally great with no clear winner
greetings friend can i apply fusso and then a topper over fusso? how long curing? and i must clean ipa before applying! I have that doubt I don't know if the two products are compatible
Hello you don't really need anything on top of this to be honest. It's so good.
I am gonna try it. 1 question… van i suply a spray topper over it? Like bead maker?
soft99 do something called speed and barrier. its a liquid version of this in a sense. its pretty good
@@epicautomotivedetailing so thats a yes?🙈
Mine is very hard to apply since it is not spreading properly and very powdery, it is also hard to remove. The wax itself is hard and not soft. What should i do?
Is it available on Amazon india?
Send link......
Thanks brotha. Ordered mine :)
@@epicautomotivedetailingoooh intriguing! I'll look forward to that 👍🏻
Still I would advise caution to the people installing it, the hobbyist, weekend warriors like myself.
Yeah for beginners it can take practice but for valeters using it for an upsell it's very easy money thank goodness
Old version Fusso coat is far superior for durability over this new version. problem is it's now banned in EU due to the chemicals used so you have to import it. Got mine from Ukraine before the troubles started.
Any tips on how to tell the old tin from the new one or where to buy it please?
Used soft99 for about 3 years now, I apply it twice a year, full winter prep, then coat of soft99 topped up with sonax bsd every weekly wash, results are amazing, great combination, same for my summer prep full decon, clay, light correction, polish then coat of soft99 + bsd,
Much better results than what I was using before which was bilt hamber dsw, and that is a good wax but is tricky to apply even in cooler conditions
