"... And thats my sister... And I'm the only one alive... "That kinda made me sad
Ikr? I instantly thought what if she suddenly starts remembering the time she spent with them when they were alive 😔
Reminded me of this picture in my grandaunt's house where she and her three siblings were photographed in their youth. She was always sad she was the last one (born 1926). Now she's gone too :'(
...
And she's still smiling 🤧
Me too...
The first one some elders cried. This one the elders were savage telling them how wrong they are PLUS the editors seem like they barely tried with the colouring because it looks rushed and not researched
ShadowSICK66 its really hard to recoloring , man it takes a long time.
Use your fingers and experience a lot to make it look better
@@yostinator81 in your opinion of you and you should not a word or phrase to do so
Guys are you all serious? You know that those images are colorized automatically by artificial intelligence? Just Google for AI image colorization and try it out, so no - takes no time. And furthermore you have not the option to choose the colors of things, so it doesn't even matter if you do some research or not.
@@lazarus8513 Oof that's a bit sad, it would've been nice to keep it a bit more accurate
I kinda wish they asked what colours the clothes and hair was if they remember
“and i’m the only one that’s alive” that made me sad and feel some type of way RIP to her family
Old people saying “that’s not right” for 11 minutes straight
Mostly just the one women who somehow remembers what color all her dresses were 😂
Jemma Elliott 😂
@@jemmaelliott971 well you have to think about the fact that their moms were sewing those dresses so they probably didn’t have very many 😂 and I think with most of my clothes I could probably remember the general color especially if it’s something I wore a lot when I was young
Oof, when Vera said she was the only one still alive. It's so sad to think about your family dying and being the only one around.
My great aunt was the oldest of six children and she outlived them all. She passed away a few months after my grandmother (the youngest of the six, and her only sister) passed. I can't even imagine outliving my younger brother who I helped raise, just like my great aunt did with her younger siblings.
@@Ten13Grl Man that's so sad :c
She won
“...and I’m the only one who’s alive.” Heartbreaking. And she said it with a smile.
Hearing about Vera husband passing and her being the only one left out of her mom, sister, and dad almost made me cry
as sad as it is, at old age that happens to younger siblings
0:35, “I’m the only one still alive” heartbreaking.
yeah that was a bit depressing.
And she lost her husband when she was 27 :(
Is it me or did it just feel completely uncomfortable with the ones that didn't match with color they had on their memories?
Every video like this is kinda uncomfortable, it kinda seams like they don't really care that it's in color. The stories are great but other than that their reactions are either well that isn't right or, oh cool.
as they have said, it challenges their memory
Get over it it’s not that serious
“And I’m the only one alive”oh my..my heart💔R.I.P
People die.
@@Commander_Shepard. so that does not mean people can't say rip or anything?
@@zest5929 Yes.
We need a episode just of Vera telling her life story.
joe parry we need an entire series where in each episode an elder tells about themselves and their lives. I love listening to old people talk, it really helps
"I'm the only one who's alive" man that got dark so fast
Ya, she won
Also widow at 27 is sad too
It's actually beautiful
*Still Smiling*
Can we just have a video of each of these elders telling their life story? Everyone seems so interesting. 😃
I agree mate.
“..and I’m the only one that’s alive.”
Jeez, it’s heartbreaking as we may all be saying that some day.
JohnTheGospel ikr
Maybe next time work with them, so the colors are correct instead of trying to surprise them . . .
I thought the same.
They could have asked some questions
It’d clue them into what they were doing though.
right
why do they always oversaturate them so much? takes away the realness
Its probably a program
The Elders with their photographs are some of my favorite videos. I love listening to their stories, and a lot of them have lived interesting lives.
I knew it!! Josie is a filipina, there's always this warm warm vibes when it comes to our Lolas (grandma)
KABAYAN!
"and I am the only one who is alive,..." She might have released a laugh but I sense the feeling of pain by the way she is looking :(
She always says all the weird stuff like that
Not many elderly feel pain when referring to lost ones because they have gotten used to people dying around them for a long time
0:35 aww that broke my heart☹️.
The lady who remembered the colors around her in her old image must be so disappointed 😂
Why disappointed?
"and im the only 1 thats alive" damn that hit the feels
When Vera said “I’m scared to go back because it might not be gorgeous anymore” Damn she’s right
21jumpstreet 3 No it’s not beautiful anymore all the pollution and and destruction of nature is not the same
@@lil_sixxo Uruguay is still beautiful

"Looking back is really good for some things but it's also very dangerous. Because if you're always looking back, you've kind of missing what's happening at the moment and you're not thinking of what might be" - Libby
"And I'm the only one that's alive *laughs" I really wish I'll be this happy when I'm old
The Philippine woman spilling some good ass hot 🔥tea about her rich ex husband taking her child custody. ☕️I kinda wanna know the whole story!!!! 🤔
I wish that you had made the colors more natural, it looks too much like technicolor, like the first old color films.
that can take a very long time depending on how accurate they want it and how detailed the image is
Awe. Vera’s last ‘speech’ made me tear up 😭 her joy was protruding through the screen and you can tell she is very grateful of this episode 💖😭😭🤧
“i’m the only one who is alive”
man, that really got me
oh man, when Vera said she is the last alive person in this photo :(
0:35 i just felt something deep damn "im the only one whose alive "
I'm afraid of the eventual day when one of these lovely elders dies. I've seen so much of these wonderful people, I'll be heartbroken when one of them passes away :(
One already did :(

” And those are my sisters and I'm the only one alive” that's really sad 😔
Within the 1st minute, I’m crying. VERA! You made me cry. The only one alive, that’s a scary thing to say about your family, one day we all will be there and that makes me so anxious.
To the person coloring these photos: you know that female wardrobes are not actually 90% pink, right?
LynxChan ikr
I think they're aware
I think that's just how the reverse algorism wrks
Especially back then 😂
@tasha99 not really
Feel like this episode is more critical then the last one where everyone was shocked and amazed
Even though the photos were pretty bad I still loved hearing their stories. Makes you appreciate the people that stick around
I honestly enjoyed listening to the memories that the pictures brought back rather than the color change portion. 🖤
Yes! Same for me. It's kinda nice and wonderful to hearing them talking about their old days memories
“I’m afraid to go back because it might not be as gorgeous.” Aw that just broke my heart..🙁 3:13
She's probably right though...
@@sweeperboy not really. Bariloche is still beautiful
I hope you can do the correction colour after the elders told you guys the real colour and show them back with supposed-told colour. That could be more interesting in my opinion.
Vera's photos are really nice. And she's obviously emotional but she's not going to cry.
they don’t seemed to thrilled about their photos changing. i think the color part kinda ruins their memory
Especially when the colors aren't the same
Elyse Moran ikr
af2001 Yeah
Lol I love when the lady at 5:00 keeps commenting on every one of her photos and saying "well that's not right" 😂😂😂
S Banuelos it’s actually at 4:53
"And im the only one whos alive"I STAN
I like how mild they all are about the coloration lol. "Oh that's not right" or "oh ok neat"
They should’ve asked what colour was what if they were able to remember
These are my absolute FAVORITE videos that FBE creates. Please make more. It warms my heart seeing their reactions and listening to their stories. We learn so much from our Elders, I wish my Grandma was still alive so I could have heard more of hers.
"And I'm the only one that's alive *laugh*" -- Vera
Oh man they took that Lady's kid away from her when she was divorced. Poor thing. But so happy her and her son are back together now :)
Man so many happy and sad memories. I loved this episode
"I was 16 and he was 20 something.. that's a real scandal" BRUH I LOVE VERA 💀
This doesn't look like you had someone who knows how to colorize photos... Maybe you used an app.. If you take the time to do it correctly they can really pop... These are all the same color.
eagle4life69 ikr
I agree... Probably the artist didn't have enought time for this set of pictures, because they look better in previous videos.
Thought this would be emotional and sweet but they just kinda hate it 😂
TheAcornAvenger I know right?! 🤣🤣
Look at the last time they did this with a different set of elders. Elizabeth was in tears (of joy)
Do more of elders react please.
I love their stories
That beginning was sad when she said and I’m the only one alive
It happens though
Virgil Young really I thought we lived forever
I love listening to the Elders stories. You need to do an interview of sorts with all your cast as a “Get to know you” sort of thing...it’d be nice to hear.
“I’m the only one alive”😭😭
Josie is that rich tita who always gives you money whenever she comes over.
buti ka pa may rich tita..sad life.
0:26 omg! i grew up in the same town and it's so crazy to hear from another uruguayan (since we're never mentioned lol).
Shoutout to all my people from Uruguay 🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾💙💙
0:35 THIS IS WHAT MOST SCARES ME THE MOST: BEING ALONE
I wish FBE would hire more experienced colorizers. Like no, Libby, you don't lose shadows and stuff in color, the staff who colorized it just don't have the experience to do it well.
They did fine the last time they did this
@@chrisjfox8715 No, they did not. The flaws are more obvious here because a lot of the pictures are low quality with a lot of artifacts, but the ones from the first video were poorly done too.
They should've ask for the dress colors. Filipinos can spot Filipino English Accent😅
I don't think it's a Filipino thing. Most people can differentiate accents, I think.
i think most westerners think we all speak like Manny Pacquiao.. 😁
This was supposed to be a surprise.
Shes a lovely woman tho
Also the old photos look very pinoy too
OMG They're so shamelessly honest it's so funny 😄😄😄
This was cute!! I think they would have liked it more if they were asked to describe the pictures prior to the color being added so it would have been more accurate.
Pillsburyjoytoy my exact same thought. I can't believe they didn't ask first
That would have been a much better video
Yeah I think that would be more impactful
It makes you appreciate how your elders was born at that time and still living and tell stories till this day. I can’t actually think how’s life without my two grandmas and my grandfather if they weren’t here, and makes me appreciate every moment and cherish it with them.
5:48 when he said he came out from the barber.. his picture reminds me of the boy in a prank video where the barber pretended to cut his ear off
I KNOW IT!!!👍😂🤣😂😂
It’s interesting how these elders didn’t like the color as much and the last elders loved the color
The quality of the colorization looks worse
I always love listening to these stories from the elders :)
What I find really incredible about these Elders is their memories about their younger days. I could only wish I am the same way when I grow to their age.
I can't even remember what I said 2 seconds ago
a lot of them were very “meh”, “looks better other way” “eh colors not right” 😂😂😂
Yeah they were pretty badly colorised to be honest. And I know its supposed to be a "surprise" but they should've asked them what colors the clothes and stuff were before hand.
Ruby B very true to make it more personal
Also seemed a bit "Technicolor" rather than accurate, not so much gradations of hue and color.
I wish the colorists got info off the elders about colours ect as it doesn't have to be a complete surprise, accurate results would've been more impressive to them!
Or just ask them to not only send the photos but also to describe everything they remember about it. I don’t think they would have suspected anything.
0:37 and I'm the only one still alive damn that's some deep stuff.
Chris Hansen 0:36*
@@notedisnt5111 oh ok
I can safely say that this is the most wholesome series on RUclips
You should ask them before you color them if they remember what the colors were so I’d be more of a surprise.
“and i’m the only one alive” i’m going to hell for laughing
You guys need to work on contrasts and little details like eyes. Lazy work on those photographs.
Amazing Appendages and people aren’t orangey...
Next time you do this ASK THE ELDERS WHAT COLORS they were wearing if they remember....it doesn’t matter if you tell them what your doing or not because they’ve never seen that specific photo in color so asking them what colors were in the photo would be less of a shock than actually seeing it accurately recreated.
this! The idea was sweet and all but very bad execution.
It is an AI software, you cannot modify the results😁
Well it kind of ruins the surprise if they do that.
@@lucaovidiu9364 if that is True, They should of hire a human Who actually work with editing old photos.. To make it more realistic.. And give a greater reaction from the elders.
Christina Doxstader Well they already asked for the pictures, they could have also asked them to explain a bit what’s going on. Most, if not all of them still know the color of their favorite dresses
Props to them for remembering all the stories, I don't even remember what I ate yesterday lol
10:40 wow very inspiring comment, she is so right. We should all remember this sentence at any given time
"I remember how my friends and I used to like boys.. but now, no more". LOL!!!
Where he says that ?
Vera, Bariloche is still as GORGEOUS as you remember it!!
I think an interview needs to be done prior to colorization of the photos. I think the elders might appreciate more accuracy in the colors over a guess.
Yeah but the idea is that they surprised them with coloring the photos.
old people are precious. protect them at all costs
You should ask for details before you show them so you don’t miss up something like hair color and another
Yeah but it’s supposed to be a surprise
Elissa Solignac .. they could ask for the details the time they asked for the picture
I would love to hear all of their life stories.
To Vera: you must return to Bariloche!! It's still super beautiful!!
I love seeing the elders so happy when they are reminiscing! Just wish the colors were accurate
Some people look impressed at than that one guys just like “eh”
They should have asked them details about the photos they submitted (like colors). But hey, great content :)
I love listening to them talk and give a little stores behind the photos.
this kind of video is good way to apreciate elders, and make them happy
also kind of making me believe in humanity
Montevideo! I never knew she was from Uruguay, so is my mom, I've had the privilege to visit as well and see my relatives.
These people are so nice to do this for these elders
I colorized a photo of my grandmother from when she was six and gave it to her when she turned 80. She was really happy about it. It wasn't perfect but still nice.
This is the most interesting React I've seen yet. The colors make the 3D (3-Dimensional) Style Pop like a real world view. Those color corrections do a very good job.
I really like Vera she seems like a beautiful soul and I hope to be like her when I am her age
Every episode:
No that's not the right color it was
Can we be honest, while it's fun to see these photos reimagined in color, these are kinda bad color jobs. Makes the photos look like paintings all of a sudden
Yeah whoever did the recolor is not good
They tried their best i don’t think you’ll do better either
