A lost star ship design from the 1980's table-top Star Trek Star Ship Tactical Combat Simulator game from FASA. This is the first star ship created for the Lost Starships channel. Modeled and textured in autodesk 3d studio max. The ship it attacks is a Romulan Bright One class destroyer from the same game...also featured on this channel.

I've really been enjoying these videos. I remember fondly playing the FASA Starship Tactical Simulator game when I was a kid. As a matter of fact, mine is still here on the shelf staring at me right now. Anyway, it's great to see someone bringing these ships to life. Keep it up please. It would be great to see all the ships from that game come to life.

I like the idea that the majority of the Klingon ships were designed to run in fast, hit target(s) hard and have dedicated rear firing weapons to finish an opponent off. In fact, it would make sense if you had your more powerful weapon(s) in the rear if you are fighting at warp speeds.
Those games had the ships fight at warp as they should

My Klingon Cmdr. commands a D-18C destroyer and uses it quite well! Kaplah!

Still got my game and a metal model of the D18 ! Pleased to see that its getting some exposure as I feel these none Canon ships are actually far more REAL Star Trek that the JJ rubbish and the even worst Trash Trek Discovery, may their versions please go down in flames with all hands lost ...ASAP.

I love these videos. The pictures are so dark it's hard to see all the work that went into drawing the details of these ships. If I take a screen shot and open it in Picassa I can add fill light & see all the details. The information is there but not visible. Wish it was visible without resorting to tricks.

Nice visualization, personally I think it should have red warp nacelles, it is a "Klingon thing".

A little blocky,. It looks good on the forward boom, kinda stealthy. I dislike many FASA designs, but this one was good!
If the primary hull and neck was placed nearer the "top" it might look better
It's not a Destroyer. Light Carrier would be a more accurate description.

Sorry, but this design always looked like a piece of shit. And I saw it in 1984.
