- An elastic presser foot is a great tool for beginner bra makers. Many sewists who are just getting into DIY lingerie have a hard time keeping the elastic elastic straight. The elastic presser eliminates this and gives an opportunity to practice sewing picot or flat elastic. Even though the pressure foot has a dial that controls tension, I encourage bra makers to stretch the elastic themselves so that they develop a "hand" at applying the right tension.

Do you think this will work for a baby lock brilliant? I haven't found a elastic foot for the baby lock but I have one for my baby lock celebrate serger.
This presser foot is specific to PFAFF machines, so it will only work on their brand of machines. You can search for an all purpose PFAFF presser foot.
@@Madalynne Very Nice and educative video!!!! It helped me to learn how to use it. Although this presser foot is produced only by PFAFF, and can be used with PFAFF and Husqvarna Viking machines that are essentially the same. But in July this year (2022) I found that buying the snap-on shank for Pfaff DREAMSTITCH 9869488600 Presser Foot Shank with Screw for Pfaff (from Amazon), and mounting the shank to the #75 BERNINA Standard Adapter Shank, or the # 77 short adapter shank, it can be used on my Bernina 200E, 640E, 730E and B830 PLUS. And using the Pfaff shank directly into the presser foot bar of a regular machines like the Brother CS6000i and in my Singer 9960. That is what I found experimenting, and so far, the results are very good. And that Pfaff shank will adapt all the Pfaff presser feet for IDT, into any other sewing machine brand. I have used the Pfaff Couching/braiding foot in all my Berninas, as well as my Brother and the Singer. And this combination is much less expensive that using the original feet for my Berninas, about half the price for the full combination- # 75 + Pfaff Shank adapter + presser foot!!!! I hope this helps other people owners of different sewing machine brands!!!!!!
