  • Pilates is a systematic approach to body conditioning. I have created comprehensive programes over my 25 years of teaching The Pilates Method which progress systematically through the Pilates repertoire.
    If you are enjoying these workouts, then you will 💖💖💖 what's on nellh.tv
    During that time I have trained with Physiotherapists and Pilates experts in both modern and traditional Pilates (as well as remedial).

    Just purchased your beginner package. Have been following you on youtube for over 12 months and love your workouts and progression. Have very much appreciated that your content has been so readily available, but am glad to now be able to compensate you for all your work.

    Thank. you this sounds like a great program. i have had my balanced reformer for 2 months and finding a class is very difficult. I tried two programs that offer a free 2 week preview. I felt lost in all the 1000's they have. To do a systematic would be wonderful. I have been going to pilates club for 9 months now and really enjoy. I was hoping to find a podcast or viedo instructions to replace my classes but have not suceeded.

      Hello Valerie. I’m glad you find my system straightforward. I have been teaching Pilates for 22 years and taught thousands of clients. This system I’ve created helps you master each level and then you have the option to stay there or progress. In this systematic approach you also can bounce between the levels depending what your energy level is. Here is a link to my website where you can find the different packages. I would suggest you start with the beginner package. There are 14 workouts you can do alphabetically labelled so you have a structure to follow. Once you’ve completed them in alphabetical order then you can bounce around in that level for variety until you are ready to progress to the next level. Beginner package has Level 1 & 2. Enjoy!

    How long should I do each level before progressing and how many times a week?

    • @NellHoess
      @NellHoess  6 месяцев назад

      I recommend doing each level until you can complete the whole workout easily and not have DOMS afterwards. Once you are at that stage…then move up to the next level. The more you to each week the quicker you progress but there is no rush, just do what you can. Ideally 3 times a week but totally up to you and your body & lifestyle.

    Hello, I am a newbie here. How do I find all of your level 1 workouts? Are they categorized in a certain way? I couldn't figure out a way to view them as a group. Thanks for your help!

      Hello and welcome 🤗 You can find all the level 1 workouts in the ‘playlists’ section of my channel. There are Level 1 workouts in Reformer 60min workouts, Reformer 20min workouts and Reformer 10min workouts. Or on my website:

    Hi Nell. Do the videos currently available (Levels 1-6) require additional equipment? I have a reformer and box, but nothing more sophisticated. Thank you.

      Hi Susan. Nothing more sophisticated than a reformer and a reformer box. If you have them, you are sorted.

    Nell, I have spent 6 months working slowly each month with each level of the videos. My question is what do I do now? Can you tell me the options , do I need to buy the entire package of your videos? one section over another? I have gained strength and flexibility and want to keep on doing that. Please advise me of what my options are for the next steps. Sasha

      Brilliant to hear. There are a few options you could do now….one is just keep using the RUclips videos and cycle them so you do different levels each week? Or you could buy the packages on my website which are a variety of workouts using the exercises in each level but in various sequencing to keep it interesting. I’m so happy to hear you have gained strength and flexibility using this systematic approach. Well done.

    I feel discouraged that it’s so hard to keep proper for especially with my core. It’s so frustrating. Any advice or wisdom or encouragement?

    • @NellHoess
      @NellHoess  2 года назад

      If your core is weak then think about engaging the pelvis floor first. Those muscle assist with the deep abdominal muscles contracting. Also if your spine is really stiff it can restrict you from lifting your chest and doing ab work. Try increasing your spine range of movement. And Perseverance is one of the modern Pilates Principles. Don't give up!

    Hi Nell. Nellh,tv sounds great. Are the videos able to be saved - ie onto USB etc so if off line they can be accessed? Also will you still keep posting onto RUclips? I love the last couple you posted. Thanks, Debbi:)

    • @NellHoess
      @NellHoess  3 года назад

      Thanks Debbi, there is a setting in the software that I need to go through to enable them to be downloaded. This will be a little time consuming so give me a week and then yes, they will be downloadable. And yes, I will still be posting videos on RUclips, the next ones to be released are for the Cadillac/Trapeze Table series and then my Mat series. And then some reformer 10min glutes&abs.

      @@NellHoess that's great to hear Nell. I have a reformer/half trapeze rather than a Cadillac so I have to sometimes figure out the best placement of the springs..this is a new learning curve for me. Love all your workouts. Thank you😊😊
