A mid sized sedan like a Toyota Camry is considered a large vehicle here.
And even the Toyota Hilux or equivalent sized pickup trucks, while big for our road, it nothing compared to the large American pickups/SUVs.
I’m from Texas and pretty much everyone in my family has either an F150 or Silverado.
The only expedition this will go on is the chick-fil-a drive through during dinner rush.

The Expedition Max is the same size as the Excursion, but with way more interior room, and more payload than the PSD Excursion. And the Expy has more power.

by the way the marquis was about 213.5" long, longer than this vehicle and the tahoe by a few inches. (but the suburban and long wheelbase versions are even longer)

It’s fast, smooth, comfortable. Acceleration is great for something this large at all speeds, the transmission is smooth and jerk free, the most surprising thing is the TURNING RADIUS!!! It’s sooo tight!!!

Love the new Expedition w/excellent gen2 - 3.5L Ecoboost mated to 10spd automatic. Best in class powertrain. We test drove it an bought it. Very well built folks. It's pricey but this rig is plush & stout in design . Will last 20yrs w/good basic maintenance!

It's not really worth it when the Japanese make longer lasting SUVS for less. For 85k, you can have a Land Cruiser, or a Sequoia/Armada and gas for a few years

Who said this Expedition is a big car or suv? Hell no the old Excursion still beats all SUV’s for size and power.
Drove one of these a few hundred miles to Branson, and my lord, these are big heavy bois. Surprisingly, it's way more fuel efficient than the honda element I came from. Like, 30+ mpg in mixed driving.
The gauges, screens, and resolution need desperate upgrades for the price their charging for this box

I agree...the leather color is and has been a miss for several years. Ford needs help with color / texture selections. Pretty vehicle. I look forward to owning a used one in the future. I’m NOT spending 80k on a big, slow, under powered box on wheels.

My Dad had an 2000-ish Expedition (not sure the year but that sort of look) and we went all over the place in that thing. It looked and felt like a big truck. We took it up to the sequoias to go camping. I remember, of all our cars, the trunk space was HUGE. Hahah, I even remember thinking how cool it was that you could open the trunk by the rear window instead of the whole door. We donated it away a long time ago, and I think my Dad still misses that truck.

Cars like this, the Tahoe and the Suburban are exactly the opposite of everything I want in a vehicle. So mad that America is killing station wagons and sedans in favor of SUVs and trucks.
375hp is weak for this size vehicle. The ST Explorer is 400. Imagine having all seats occupied and cargo, that vehicle will struggle to move. Should have at least 450-475hp.
I'm an infotainment engineer, and the reason why some car infotainments are laggy is for not being too much distracted, for example after you press a certain function, you have to wait a little till it works or changes, and during this waiting time you can watch the road ahed of you, otherwise if it was a lag free infotainment probably you would continue using the infotainment and forget about checking the road.
Just kidding, I'm not an infotainment engineer, but this is the only reason I think why some infotainments are laggy.
Find it very boring... Unless you get an amazing deal on one and need something that big... I don't see the appeal. The Front of the F150 looks much better to me.

Sure wish someone would give an honest review. Ford is a cheap arse company. But the only way they lose is some of the cheap arse plastics they use on their interiors. GM v8’s can’t even come close in any way to matching the 3.5 Eco’s. And the Eco’s can be tuned to just shit on and leave that gm horse shit behind. I had a Denali xl. Vibrated like crazy. After a minute or two of all of us holding our breaths we finally hit 100, even with 400ish horsepower and the trans and drive vibrating us to pieces, at maybe 8mpg, lol gm!
Now in a 2018 Expy Max, w/a 5* tune getting 19.5 mpg, and a 0-60 under 4, and smoother than silk, I wonder how gm is still in biness.

Yeah they're nice and all but if you have a large family, it can't tow for crap. That's why I got an 05 Excursion. Max towing is 11,000 but with the modifications done on it bumped it to 13,000. I wish suv's nowadays could still tow anything of significant size

fords naming confuses the hell out of me. ecosport, escape, edge, explorer, expedition all suvs. expedition and explorer are super close and over all 5 suvs with similar names doesn't do them any good. just confuses the customer.
