Yes I'm addicted to this channel, I've learned so much from you guy's and have absolutely applied it all to my own playing! Thank you for the awesome content, it always makes my day!
It's not relevant, but when Eliot cast Mnemonic Betrayal and grabbed Jan's Mox Opal, he should have had to sacrifice his as it's a legendary permanent.
its weird, I could never see myself playing cEDH because its opposed to everything I want from commander, but seeing 4 (rotating) excellent, and charismatic players both pilot the decks and talking through the thinking is great. And adds a nice dash of variety to the Magic content pool
Totally agree. I love occasionally seeing a card that will work for my strangely specific commander deck, knowing I'll never be able to play competitively. These videos bridge the gap so well
@@heykak that’s fair, although I will big disagree on the price point. CEDH is the most proxy friendly format I know of unless you prefer the real cards.
@@hellNo116 Yes but he could've wizardcycled on Alex's endstep or on his upkeep to not broadcast to the table that he's going for the win and his opponents wouldn't have a reason to simply PTT leaving mana up for interaction

By the way, if the Orcish Bowmaster target fizzles the orc army won't get a +1/+1 counter since the trigger fizzles. It doesn't end up mattering but it's a thing.
@@havardharaldsen332 the amass orcs 1 is a dependency. If the first part of the trigger doesn't resolve because it has an illegal target, then the second part that is dependent upon the first also doesn't happen.
You really should read mnemonic betrayal. It really didn’t make a difference for the win but for future any mana can be used to cast spells from the exiled cards. Also Mox opal legend rule. Exile all opponents' graveyards. You may cast spells from among those cards this turn, and mana of any type can be spent to cast them. At the beginning of the next end step, if any of those cards remain exiled, return them to their owners' graveyards. Exile mnemonic betrayal.
It's a long and complicated line that changes depending on what effects are on board to work around. The basic version loops spellseeker with reanimation, rituals, and effects to return cards from grave to hand to make a ton of mana and get any combo of spells out of your deck. I think you only need a black floating and one to activate inalla after casting seeker to start it. You can find it in the inalla primer.
We dropped two bonus Canlander games in Janurary. They just don't do the numbers we need to make it worth the production time unless Wheeler comes to visit.
@@ShadowsArch thassa's oracle basically reads "if you have less cards in your deck than the number of blue mana symbols among permanents you control you win the game" and costs 2 blue mana. There's an effect on the card itself that lets you pick a card to put on top but the relevant text is that you just win the game with a two mana wet elf if you have no library
I respect the try of Elliot to have his spellseeker to not be countered

Wizardcycling can be done at instant speed as it's an activated ability

Good game. You all are brave with all those unprotected win attempts.
You know the old wisdom - They either have it, or they don't. Make them have it.
This new GameGenic intro has been going hard
That's actually my first time seeing pneumonic betrayal do the thing, and it wasn't even his own copy!
I remember Bill! He’s great
Who? Are you talking about Eliot 2: The Eliotening?
Loved this game, some really cool plays from all sides! The two Elliots were great
"If you also want to be Eliot - you can't."
All the Eliots in the audience: o:
what a great game and video!!! keep up!! having more and more fun each time, incredible!!
Welcome back, Bill!

I'm not sure this is correct. The 1 damage and amass Orcs 1 are two separate effects of the draw trigger: "[...] deal 1 damage to any target. [

Hi Bill! Hi Elliot! Hi Alex! Hi Jan! What's up Spikes?
I'm confused on why Jan with a ton of mana and a counter doesn't go for led auriok combo
at 21:30 can you change grasp target? I thought choosing target was similar to paying a mana cost, once you targeted someone you cant change target.
Elliot targeted jan, not bill. Bill probably played it then thinking elliot may have been able to draw a ton of cards off of his grasped card.
@@cobaltbeau Whoops my bad, I thought he targeted bill

What was Eliot’s combo with spellseeker and how does it work?
Probably demonic consultation and something that rinses the library

That was a game and a half :) GGs Spikes
What happened at the end? xD
Poor Eliot, as an Inalla player, I feel this pain, so these days I try to make sure I can win protected
That was a great game.
The game genic intros are clutch
Love the spikes 🌵
Jokes on you, I already am Elliot 😈

Not relevant but the bowmaster trigger on the commando fizzled so the army didn't get the token, double wheel with a bowmaster is cruel.
That was a great win using someone elses deck.

Does that mean Elliot gets paid twice as much for being on this episode?

Elliott on twice!!
But it is Thursday. Immersion broken.
I do not understand the win on this one.
he names a card that is not in his deck so consultation exiles his whole deck then oracle etbs and he wins
