Great vid really appreciate your torque specs! It is the small details that make the difference between stripping and undertightning! Using an extension on the socket makes the torque wrench fit perfect and using the correct hex wrench! Thanks! It took 4 months for me to receive mine and was worth it!
Had a tanabe front tower bar installed on my 2015 Nissan juke. NOT direct fit. Had to move vacuum line and now it goes over short ram and god forbid if you have a blown fuse, bar and sri have to be removed to get to. Fuse box. Btw Nissan has 4 fuse boxes.good luck. Still friggin awesome, no body roll or strut ( 1500 dollar) upgrade. Thx all.
That rubber dust cover on top of the strut comes off easily, it’s just protecting the strut shaft bolt. That way you can fit your wrench and torque those bolts properly.
How do you untighten those bolts on top in the beginning, they’re on super tight, and I’ve tried my best and used my strength too, even though im not that strong lol.
BE SURE TO INSTALL ON LEVEL GROUND. If the car is on an incline, it'll mess up the strut alignment. That said, I installed a bar on a 01 Camry. What a difference, I could take turns faster and the car responded better.
Do you know what the hell did you saying? You cannot mess up the strut alignment at all. The car is 1.3 tons, pushing to the bolt, how can you mess it up? Tell me please?
I just installed a megan racing strut bar on my 10th gen today. I did 40ftlbs, then after driving a little bit I did 42ftlbs.

So you don't have to lift your car or get an alignment once this is done?

I wouldn’t be scared to use all force on them. If it’s still difficult maybe consider a breaker bar
