My husband an I Love How you are straight forward and detailed you are about how to stitch the correct way!! ❤️❤️❤️ I'd love to know how you can make a pattern for something. I LOVE your patterns because they are correct, perfect! I've tried to watch others on how to make a pattern for , for instance a notebook, but they always sew the leather. I Love the hands on sewing. Looks AMAZING!

    making one for someone as a christmas present chrome tan brown liner thick vegtan for the inner beak goat skin for the rest of the construction punched it out and cut it with a round knife. using purple and red fibings dye will probably have to use mink oil or neats foot after the dye has finished drying with the goat skin.

      He disclosed in a Q&A video that he uses autoCAD. He also said that if there was an actual program that specifically was for just making patterns, he would retire tomorrow.

    I have been debating about making a few of your hat designs, but I have a larger hat size. How do you adjust for different sizes with your patterns? Specifically, I would start with your cowboy hat pattern.

    I bought this pattern and got 6 piece and 8 piece patterns but both are not letter size and thesecond and third pages for each size cuts off the bottom of the band, do you have letter size?

    Hello Tony, thanks for another great pattern and tutorial!! A few questions please...
    1) What type and / or brand ( perhaps dimensions ) needles are you using in this video??...
    2) What is a good rule-of-thumb approach to determine how long of a piece of thread to use for a specific run on a piece...I was told by an old leather man that you run the thread along the section you're intending to sew and fold the thread 4-6 times the length and add an inch to ea chis ....

    Yes i do stitch by machine but i buy my own leather make and cut my own patterns. I do want to learn how to do some hand stitching and make my patterns more precise

    Hola Tony , compré el patrón y curso , realicé la tarea cocida a mano quedó hermosa , pero al realizar la tarea con máquina de cocer no logró llegar con el diámetro de la sudadera con el contorno de la boina 😢.

      the pattern is meant to be done by hand not with a stitching machine

    I have been looking everywhere to find a tutorial for making an effective sweatband (using a fabric barrier and properly stitching it to the hat).
    Would you be able to show us or give us some direction?
    I would love to start making more hats but they would last longer and be more comfortable (and be able to sell for alot more!) with a proper sweatband...
