- The Multi-Class update is here in Forza Motorsport for Open-Class! And it is surprisingly enjoyable and good race craft all round. The racing length is now medium, a first for Open-Class which means you will need new tire strategies and builds specifically for this series

It feels cool but also scary in a fun way when you’re C Class and S Class cars are coming down the straight behind you. Surprisingly the most fun I’ve had in this game.
Honestly, it’s a lot of fun, I even found the endurance multiclass surprisingly clean too - that maybe due to a high skill rating however. Still a good update to the multiplayer
I like it, there was this kind of test in nfs shift. it made me want to surpass myself and catch up with the higher category cars..
ps: on the other hand he should have put the color code of the car performance categories, the S was yellow whereas it should be class C for the sake of consistency 🙂

This made me laugh
Here is 2 timelines.
- play nicely and get penslties because the car in front of you slows you down
- bump that slowpoke sufficiently to send them off the line early on, get a penalty as well, but you are in front of them and able to distance yourself and get out of their range and mind your own race instead.

Honestly one thing they nailed in this game Im surprised I haven't seen anyone mention yet is the sound of the R34, I honestly would put it up there with the old grid and nfs games
i would say this but the stock exhaust sounds horrible, its a generic i6 sound with nothing special to it

Start of the 2nd lap they were 4 wide at the bend and there was NO CONTACT! Awesome
F1 23 also has 4 wide racing like these.
It is so satisfying when you come out of a corner with more speed than the opponent

@@IsuckAtDriving Thank you! Question, if you have time. My biggest interest is C-A class, do you have go-to mods that you try to always run for QOL regardless of class, say Transmission and tires> everything else. Watching you slay with random cars gives me hope to not bend to meta.
It highly depends on the car, you can check out Raceboy77's videos as he post a lot of open tunes on his channel. I have hit the tune limit of the game which prevents me from saving and sharing tunes

Those "off-track violations" were absolutely ridiculous...
Total distance penalty is about 100 meters.
I should see more timed races like this, because they have replaced time penalties with that.
gotta say, i missed the old endurance races i had back in FM3. this is the closest i've had and i enjoyed it to pieces. my only issue is i was alone in GT2 with a porsche after 20min :p
the multi-class is hella fun
I wish they would enable a way for the player to control the lights in the cars like hazard and turning signals, it would allow slower but fair players to show their intentions of letting whoever is behind them. 🙏🏻

Now you have endurance races by classes, good for Microsoft and Turn 10
not too bad , but the way i see it, the worst drivers are mostly in S class cars. Depending on te track that spells misery. On virginia for instance people just have to be patient to overtake. but instead its the same old plough trough thing as usual. but, i agree that its cleaner that your normal full class lobby for sure
its almost like not giving everyone the same class cars results in fewer traffic/less dirty racing eh
blud touched the grass -0.01 violation, meanwhile the blue ford gt went OFF the track and wasn't penalized....
that was great race with Nissan GT-R ,ISAD! 🏁

watching this made me yell at my screen to take the early penalty and go ahead, then that ford literally slowed you down when you had a good chance and you were forced to wait again.
when the lexus did the same off track at the end of the race but got no penalties i was so mad

yeah it blew my mind that not one higher class car hit me. Granted I would move out of the line for them but still.
The game feels more alive and realistic.

Distance really doesn't make sense to me. Why isn't it just "time expires = current lap is the last lap", like actual endurance races?
The penalty after 13:24 is a joke. Why so severe for being a pixel above the track limits?

I don't get why they would not show lap times / segment times here. Especially in endurance, you also want to race against time and improve yourself, right? They don't even show how many laps you've come. Even in RL endurance they will show the Laps for the 1st Position and not stupid kilometres (or even Hamburgers per Liberty, sry). 😁
Like none of the devs is into racing at all...

is it just me, or does the start of Forza Motorsport's multi-class races seem incredibly scuffed...? everything about it just feels like it was hastily tacked onto the base game, pretty sure the devs could have implemented that better. :/
Is multi-class a genuine mode now? Like i could get the game and just hop into it?
Once you go through the tutorial and complete the mandatory 3 qualifier race, you can immediately hop in!

You’re on the track with other cars from different classes but you’re not racing them. Let’s say you make a car for A-class, you’ll be racing other A-class cars but there will be other classes on track that you’re not racing. Almost like a track irl where you’ll have straight up race cars on the same track as lets say an Integra GSR with barely any track mods
to add traffic, just like real-life endurance races, an extra layer of difficulty
why is it on 30 fps again lol
It is something related to disabling Vsync that is causing this issue. I am playing at 60fps but the Shadowplay records at 30fps. So far I believe I have fixed it and future uploads should be in 60 again
I hate that female crew chief in this game she is annoying I miss the Forza 6 days where there were no penalties for anything.

should have given him a sizeable "love tap" early on. I get the whole "fair race" thing, but he certainly wasnt playing with the same handbook as you by intentionally blocking you from easily passing him every time you hit the *_S_* curves
