    With the organza dress, cut it into a mini dress and add some layers of gathers and puffy sleeves. Think Selkie vibes! Great video, so much inspiration and ideas!

      Ooh yes I should totally do that! I did say at the time that I didn't think the sleeves were puffy enough. Great idea, thanks!!! 😘

    Love all that you made last year especially your Frocktails dress and the green dress with the home-made resin buttons. Can I ask what kit you used please?

    • @amyofmelbourne
      @amyofmelbourne  Год назад

      For the buttons I purchased a basic UV resin kit from Amazon and some nail art flowers. Then I got a silicone button mould. Let me know how you go if you decide to make some yourself!

    These are wonderful! What would you say was the easiest thing you sewed? I have only just started learning but I've been struggling to find plus sized things I like so thank you for sharing this.

    • @amyofmelbourne

      Welcome to the fold! Helen's closet has the best instructions by far! Muna and broad are great too and Friday pattern co and twig and tale both do video sew alongs which I bloody love!
      The absolute easiest garment was the Kinjarling dress from waves and wild. I didn't use french seams as per the instructions, I just used my overlocker but it was very straight forward and very well written instructions
