I love your capsule wardrobe! Such great fabric and pattern choices. Really helpful to hear about your thoughts on each garment now you’ve worn them a bit as well. Excited to see more vids 🥳 Ellie x
Just found your blog i love your makes especially the jacket, ive just made the hattie dress i love your checked one i think i will have to get checked fabric and make another one, thankyou for showing your makes x
Lovely video, like your thoughts on finding what makes you wear the most, all good classic pieces and very interesting makes, and yes to any tips on improving our sewing techniques. Thank you
Thanks for talking through your favourites, that's interesting to hear. I love the look of your style and nice to hear you so confident about what you like. Its also nice to hear you talking about patterns that I've considered. 👍
I love your choices in color and fabric, really lovely pieces you've made here. As a total beginner I'd love to see a tutorial on how to make that adorable corduroy bag!
I have a blouse with buttons I put it on just over my head do up the button then turn the right way and put arms through sleeves ,also an elasticared button loop may help
Great makes. Perhaps you could hang the garments from the bookcase to show off the whole garments. However i really appreciated seeing the detailled shots as well. Great collection
Thank you for sharing your favorite makes. They are all very nice. I didn’t quite catch the name of the reversible vest you made. I would love to make one as it seems really wearable instead of a jacket in the summer. ❤
Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊 it's the new craft house 'Everyday Waistcoat'. It's lovely! I'm actually designing my own waistcoat sewing pattern at the moment because I find them such a useful piece, as you say.
Lovely wardrobe! I can understand your struggle of seeing beautiful things on other people and wanting to have it even though it might not really fit. But just realizing that this is a thing to keep in mind has helped me so far :)
Excellent workmanship! I loved the overalls and that dash of color you added in the lining. Though I have a completely different taste in color palette (you seem to prefer brown-olive-greys, and in general, giving off a muted effect), I can see myself wearing all your designs, in brighter colors. Great channel!
I found this video looking for merchant and mills videos, in hopes of another maker who likes their fabrics as much as i do. Thanks for sharing your makes! I really liked your Hattie especially!
Your clothes are fab.I would have loved to have seen what they looked like on.The volume is low so I don't know if your able to increase it.Your colour palette is beautiful.
Hi 😊 there are a few clips later on, but I agree - I'm going to film another one this week where you can see them full length. Others have also said it's a bit quiet, so I'm getting a microphone! Hopefully that'll help. Thanks for watching 😊
love all your clothes and sweaters you've made and happy you showed us your learning errors.. we all make them and beginners need to know that.. good job
I love your style. I'm still at the random clashing patterned fabrics stage of my sewing journey. Hopefully I'll calm down as I transition from beginner to intermediate.
J Stern Designs has a youtube channel that explains the ways to get certain results when sewing pants (eliminating bagginess, increasing crotch depth, etc.) I have learned from them, even though I've been sewing for over 60 years.
Thanks Kim - yes a few others have already pointed this out. It was my first video and I've made the other ones louder - hopefully they're easier to hear 😊
Awe this was such a lovely video and it’s fantastic to have another sewing RUclipsr. We need more of that in this space ❤🎉
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
This is totally my vibe. Love your makes. Please show them in more details. How you decide the patterns. What you like and disklike about them.
Thanks! Yes I'll try to show them in more detail next time, with some full length shots too 😊

I think it's a bit too fitted for a manoeuvre like that, but elastic loops could help!
Love all your makes!
Thanks!!
I really likes your choices of the fabric and the pattern, its lovely
Thanks so much!
A great podcast right up my street knitting and sewing. Looking forward to the next episode 😊

I just love all these makes, you have nailed it!
Such a lovely video! I recently started sewing and have been a long time knitter and crocheter. Looking forward to seeing the top sts video!!
Thank you 😊 I hope you're enjoying sewing so far. The top stitching video is on my channel already, I hope you find it useful 😊
Lovely wardrobe! I can understand your struggle of seeing beautiful things on other people and wanting to have it even though it might not really fit. But just realizing that this is a thing to keep in mind has helped me so far :)
Absolutely 😊

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊 I always love to see how people have created something totally different from the same pattern!
I found this video looking for merchant and mills videos, in hopes of another maker who likes their fabrics as much as i do. Thanks for sharing your makes! I really liked your Hattie especially!
Thanks! Glad you liked it 😊 I do love sewing with M&M fabrics and patterns
Relate to so much of what you said about the sewing journey in general! Gorgeous makes! Added lots of these patterns to my must make list 😊❤️
Ah glad you enjoyed it! Enjoy the patterns 🥰
I love your colour palette! It's nice to see someone using all the earth tones I love too ❤️
Thank you!! 😊 I can't get enough of them 🍂

Thank you! Yes, everything has little imperfections, which is normal as you say! X
Thanks for sharing, your aesthetic suits me on the farm. I look forward to your future posts.👩🌾👩🌾👩🌾
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
I love your style. I'm still at the random clashing patterned fabrics stage of my sewing journey. Hopefully I'll calm down as I transition from beginner to intermediate.
I think that's part of experimenting, and I still do that :) but I think over time I've honed it down
Love your style! Glad I found your channel :)
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying it ☺️
Love all your makes! Though I had a hard time hearing your voice!
Thank you! And thanks also for letting me know, I wondered if it might be a little quiet. I'll look into getting a little microphone 😊
All your Makes look so lovely - even if you ran out of fabric on the inside of one 😅.
Haha, thank you! I might do a little video soon where I go back and fix this like that.
@@threadandyarn that would be awesome!
So many wonderful makes! It would be useful to have a list or links so we can find the patterns.
Thank you for reminding me! I'll add it to the description 😊
Loved watching your video. Could you please advise where you got the pattern for the knitted cardigan
Hi Wendy 😊 I either bought it on BT's website or ravelry. If you Google it, it should come up.
Tutorials, please!🏵️
There's a top stitching one up, more coming soon 😊
Just found your channel I love your style. Just to let you know I had to turn my volume up full and still found it a little difficult to hear you.
Thank you - yes, another person said that. I'll invest in a microphone 😊 hopefully better next time!
Hi! Love your channel :) what type of fabric is the Gilbert shirt you made?
Thanks so much! It's Indian cotton with a hand-blocked print on. It's from Cloth House (in London) 😊
J Stern Designs has a youtube channel that explains the ways to get certain results when sewing pants (eliminating bagginess, increasing crotch depth, etc.) I have learned from them, even though I've been sewing for over 60 years.
Thank you, I'll have a look 😊
You wear holiday slipover right? 😊
Yes that's it, by Petite Knit ☺️
I couldnt hear you. But your makes were very nice
Thanks Rita - yes others have said, so I boosted the sound on my next videos, hopefully you can hear them better 😊
I turned maximum volume, but your voice is low which made me hard to hear what you said. Your video has good content, but need to fix sound volume.
Thanks Kim - yes a few others have already pointed this out. It was my first video and I've made the other ones louder - hopefully they're easier to hear 😊
