I just love you. It was as if you were speaking to me when you said, don't wait to lose the weight before you start sewing. Just sew. I am also on a weight loss journey, eating for health, etc. I've got new sewing machines, lots of beautiful fabric, patterns, retired, no excuse...just sew. thank you, keep doing what you're doing.

I’m looking forward to seeing your remakes. I am so glad I picked up the Rebecca Page Portia Party Dress when it was free. It’s such a great pattern. That Tory Wrap coat will totally be worth the remake. 😊

I lost 1-2 sizes, so I shrank some stuff in the dryer :) ; and have taken my commercial jean style pants and seamed them down the sides by 1" tapering to the knees, total reduction 4" which is important because you sew INSIDE on the other side of the little rivet, and I have also taken in the seams , going up the sides of a jersey top and through to the elbow. These items no longer look as nice inside, but i needed things during covid, when the stores were closed. These are some tips for people going through a downsizing. Then your patterns offer more ! and are gorgeous. I am looking for some new items, now that I have made a few quick fixes. i also find that a change in size can also offer new opportunities in shapes that are flattering :) thanks for this video

This is wonderful, thank you! As I went up a size during lock down and want good patterns as I hover at another size. Is there any way you can trim off your seams of the pink Montoya coat and just cut the new pattern pieces from that awesome fabric?

Hey Jodie, I'm not a fan of altering previously made garments - LOL! I could say yes, but I know me, I would never do that. I truly don't mind just donating to another home. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching.
