You're welcome! Thank you for this feedback. I love hearing this type of feedback back because it helps me provide a better experience for viewers. Happy sewing.
Terrific video Tea,packed with great information and well researched and presented. I really appreciate this type of video.Patterns don’t need to be complicated as it is so easy to ring the changes with our fabric choices.I have made notes of the patterns which interest me and will be trying them. Thank you 🌹🌹🌹
You're welcome! I agree! We definitely do not need complicated or expensive patterns. You'll find some of the most inexpensive and easy patterns are the best, well drafted, and stylish patterns. I'm glad this video helped! Happy sewing!
Thank you!!! I am a beginner self taught sewer and want to get projects like these under my Belt in the time I have available. Thanks for compiling these!
Yes, I did! Thank you for delivering too. You’ve made me spend a lot of coins picking up fabrics and patterns based upon your recommendations. So a big Thank You!
Love this topic. Got some great ideas and INSPIRATION. You are so good at what you do. I like most all the patterns & really like the way you describe everything.
Thanks for the recommendation. I just took a look at this pattern. Wow! That's an easy to sew pattern! I love that sleeve detail. But it's $20. That seems a bit much for a simple basic top.
@@crumpetsteaandsewing I know. Not cheap. But looking at Instagram it looks like people are making multiple versions so perhaps pay-per-sew makes it worth it. At least, that’s what I’m hoping. I’m part way through making one and sewing machine decided to demand a service … so I won’t know how mine turns out yet. 🤞🏼
😁 yes! The prep work always takes a bit of time. Happy Sewing! S9469 is an exceptional pattern! Watch Alex of @amassonlifestyle sewing tutorial! It's amazing!
I sew in steps these days. It's too exhausting to do 3-5 hrs at one time. Pin the fabric, then cut. Put aside. Come back later or the next day to trace markings and do tailor tacks. Come back later and start sewing. 😅
Hi! Welcome! That's the Vogue V2031. I've made 5 versions of that pattern. Here's a video of the pattern review if you're interested... ruclips.net/video/J6EY1pYZXB0/видео.html
Great suggestions! My Joann was out of S3010 last week but I really want to make that cardigan. Yes to S9385 being a great easy, versatile top!! I also like the Simplicity version of the Toaster Sweater (S8529) unfortunately OOP - I've made three. McCall's 8456 is sitting next to me right now as I decide what to make next. Your new sweater looks very pretty on you - glad you are enjoying it!
If not the first time, you’ll get faster each time. I’ve also found that once you know something fits, choose 3 fabrics that can use the same thread and assembly line them. I found it takes about 6 hours to make my husband 1 cowboy shirt, but only 8 hours to make 3.
I was wondering if you’ve made the long sleeve shirt on the NewLook 6735 pattern, and if so, if it’s really fitted as it looks on the pattern? I want to make it but don’t want it too fitted in the tummy area! Thanks for doing this video, it’s really great and so very helpful!😊
I definitely understand that! And that's a great habit to have! Being slow means being cautious. I love it! My main goal with posting these types of videos is to encourage sewists to sew easy patterns they are comfortable sewing, with the limited time they have. I don't count prep work as part of the "sewing" experience for easy patterns. 2 hour sews are, for me, patterns that don't take a lot of time at the sewing machine. I love sewing these types of patterns, especially when I don't feel as motivated to sew. But I also realize that prep work can be just as tedious. So, with patterns like these mentioned in the video, we aren't spending a great deal of time cutting out 15 or more pattern pieces. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Hope you don't mind me sharing my thoughts with you. Happy sewing, my friend!
Tea, I consider it an honour you sharing with me. I love your unique feminine style. I think you sew beautifully and always look super in your clothing. Hugs Sallxxx

WHAT!!! 2 hour Easy Sews! 😮

I sweat like the devil during cutting too! 😂 So afraid of screwing up! But I have bought sheets and old cloth from yard sales and started practicing.
Great list. Thanks for keeping the patterns displayed on screen for a longer time.

Good round up, thank you for sharing. 😊
I’d like to recommend the Cuff Top by The Assembly Line. Very simple and popular with sewists.

Do you have to be a member of seamwork in order to get that free pattern ?
No! But you do have to provide an email address and set up an account, which is also free
