    An elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.

    • @lmclrain
      @lmclrain 3 месяца назад +2

      it lacks weight, I rather have a civilized fight with a stick and see what is up
      at least since I aim to compete, I rather train with weight, professional swords are made with balance in mind always

      @@Candlemancer that is not a weapon dude, check how people train. People who aim to compete at a sport. Even if it is an exhibition sport. Check a couple videos, it is not hard to tell

      @@lmclrainbro it's a star wars quote. Of course no one thinks this is an actual viable weapon.

    • @lmclrain
      @lmclrain 3 месяца назад

      @@General_Kenobi1 you add weight to anything and it becomes a weapon
      Learn about weapons in prison for example. One soap of bar with a sock, you got something, just you need weight
      Same while training if you add no weight then your sword is nothing
      To quote stuff I guess you add these " "
      Also check the video
      how many viable weapons do you see?

    These pucks are great. They make drop-in ones as well that are a bit more convenient.
    Once they get some blade effects going on these cores, it'll be nice. Cause you can do some limited effects with the baselit and I'd say it's more interesting than standard.
    If you try it with proffie you can get some interesting results, some better than others. 👍

    Thoughts on shields in Star Wars and why so few Jedi and Sith use them?
    There are Jedi training light-shields (which use the same tech as lightsabers), plasma shields (such as Jedi Master Silandra's shield and the Death Watch personal combat shields), energy shields ( such as Gungan personal energy shields and BX Droid commando personal shields), beskar shields, and my fave, cortosis shields (such as Darth Desolous's shield).

    Is that Cade Skywalkers saber from legends? I didn’t know custom sabers were made for that hilt!

    It’s so strange to see someone do a conversion from Pixel to Baselit - when pixel was first hitting the scene, people were converting their baselit sabers left & right!!
    Given the context of the channel tho, this makes sense!

    For some lightsaber hilts, does the conversion puck raise the baselit blade too far from the screw that fixes the blade in place? Even if there's actually enough depth in the hilt for the two inserts?

    • @robinswords
      @robinswords  Месяц назад

      Yes, absolutely. You need to make sure you have the necessary clearance. That's why they usually don't work on thin necked sabers - no room for both.

      @@robinswords I figured a katana lightsaber I purchased from The Saber Factory was roomy enough for the blade to still insert a few centimeters into the hilt even with a puck inside, but didn't consider if the puck would take over the retention screw level, preventing the blade from being locked there.
      But after inspecting the k lightsaber once I got it in my hands, I saw it'd all fit properly! I'm not buying a conversion puck, but if I ever change my mind, it'll surely work!
      Thanks for the videos!
