- Adventured to and explored Chassahowitzka River Campground in my 2023 Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro 15TB. I go through the hook up process at the campsite, cook up some dinner in the trailer, and kayaking with the manatees. It was cold for Florida but still an amazing adventure!

Have yet to visit this spot. But, to Stephanie and gals like her for taking to the road and doing what they do is very admirable. My kind of gal, for certain. Travel well and be safe. RH/Leesburg, Florida
So cool, to see manatees.. enjoyed
I loved manatees! Thanks for watching ☀️
The manatee are so peaceful … good idea check your power before connecting to your trailer
Love Manatees ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the mpg update.
You’re welcome, Thanks for the Question! ☀️
We use a small space heater in our camper no noise stays at the temperature you set it for.just put it on the kitchen counter you will be fine nice to wake up to a warm room to use the bathroom 🚽 lol
Yes! Using a warm bathroom is a plus! Lol
Such a leisurely camping video. Camp cooking in cast iron is the best. My choice is a Dutch oven when my plan is just hanging around camp. One item I want to add to my supplies is something to lay over the slinky hose end just a precaution so doesn’t pop up. Great idea the electric blanket, my furnace is a roaring noise when it runs. Fuel mileage bring ping your Free Spirit along compared with two motel nights. Yup I will pay the gas. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Thanks for watching! ☀️
That’s exactly what I have done with mine too. A bed, a couch and plenty of room to walk. I do think a lagoon table would be great. I know the newer model 2024, has one. But all in all, it’s perfect for one! And do able for 2!
I just looked up a lagoon table and actually that may be a good addition later!
As soon as I read the sign at the boat launch about the snakes I was out 😂 nice video as always. Stay safe
lol, snakes 🐍 and gators 🐊. Thanks for watching!
I live about a mile from the Chassahowitzka River Campground. It is a beautiful river and the only one around that has not been ruined by people building on it. I saw you pulling onto the road to the campground. Hope you had fun. Unfortunately the weather is going to be below freezing Sat/Sunday. Have fun!! If you need directions, tips , or info about the area let me know. I have lived here 30 years so I can probably help you out.
Awesome! Thank you so much ☀️
How do manatees breathe when they're SLEEPING?? Anyway, just found your channel. Nicely done! Shooting, editing, etc. isn't always easy, but you pulled it all together. Great job Stephanie. GO girl! 😊
Thank you so much for your feedback! The manatees float to the surface and get a breathe every now and then when they need a breathe, I guess you can call it “sleep swimming” lol
@@lifewithstephanie42 LOL! That's a skill I'm gonna WORK on! Thanks, and you're welcome.
I'm a little jealous. Your season is starting while I'm up here sitting in snow. Since you don't pets or kids, get an ebike to stroll around in. Mine has added a whole new dimension to my camping. Lectric has nice cheap and good bikes. I put mine in the camper along side the bed to store and travel. What time were you on the water for the manatees to still be sleeping?
Il so grateful I’m not in super cold weather 🥶right now! ☀️ A bike is on my list for sure! I was in the water by 8 am
Cast Iron is awesome. I clean my pans with salt. I thought maybe you were going to pick the Monk fish. It tastes very similar to Lobster. Looks like you had a great time.
Ohhh, I’ll have to try Monk fish next time! I love lobster 🦞
Now I:m Hungary! 👍❤️❤️❤️👍
lol, wouldn’t it be awesome if we could take biteskies of food through videos! I would have shared ☀️
Hey Stephanie, assuming you have the same Westlake tires on your camper as I have on my 2023 E-Pro 15tb, they are not rated for anything over 60mph. So, if you are traveling an average 65-70 you are really stressing those tires. Double check the tire temp with your TPMS at those speeds and then at 60mph.
Ok thank you for the information! I’ll try and keep it at 60 MPH, I definitely don’t want to stress my tires
swap them out for some Good Years in 5 years.
Thanks for the great video again. I love the water scenes. Beautiful manatees. My daughter is moving to FL so I’m looking forward to visiting her with my little 15TB too. I can’t believe how many beautiful campgrounds you all have down there.
You are gonna love it in Florida with your little trailer! I hope you get to see the Manatees ☀️
Thank you for the video. Do you have a insulated handle holder for your cast iron skillet with your odds & ins?
Ohhhh great idea! I need one of those, thanks for the idea! Going on my list lol
You might have covered this in a previous video but can you comment on your sleeping arrangement. I see you're eating with the bed behind you. I was considering a 15 TB and to make a dedicated one person bed up against the back with still leaving a little bit of room to sit down. Maybe I'd install a lagoon table instead of what they provide. Do you think there's enough room for this?
The table that it came with took up too much room and wasn’t very high to fit my legs under. So I took it out. I put both sides of the cushions down to make a king bed at one point, but I like having the area in the middle to walk around. So I now have one side for sleeping the middle for moving around and the other side for couch sitting. I ordered 2 bed tray tables on Amazon to use for eating but for now I just sit on the bed and use that counter top as a table to eat. It’s all about making the area best for you. I’m sure there’s enough room to make it into whatever you want for sure!
@@lifewithstephanie42 That's a great idea! I traveled across the country last year with a truck camper and it was a blast. I'm considering moving to a trailer but wanted to keep it small so that it's easy to tow around. I think I might get the 15TB. If I could survive a tiny truck for 8 weeks I think the 15 should be plenty big enough.
I really enjoy your videos by the way so keep them going 🙂
Hueguenot is a nice camp ground on the Atlantic in Jacksonville but I would avoid Talbots Island campground. Too many shady characters and it is tight to move a camper around in.
Thanks for the info ☀️ I’ll check it out!
A great place to get a draft beer and appitizer is the Sand Dollar just South of Huguenot. There is an old plantation to visit (no camper in tow) too. Lots of beach to walk or drive on. watch the tide though. There are also creeks to kayak. Further South is St. Augustine. Looks like they have a pretty nice camp ground. Federal parks are about 1/2 the price with no sewer hook up. You will need to buy yourself a Rhino portable waste tank to dump at the dump station as needed. I would get the mid size one (18 to 22 gal. max) - waste water gets heavy. Navy shower when possible.
Bonjour, Where do you buy your cover blue for your bed, do you have the address site? Merci
Hello 👋 Honestly I don’t remember. I’ve had it for a long time, probably Walmart ☀️
Do you think you could have gotten away woth just using one sewer line?
Definitely but I didn’t want to disconnect them.

Ohhhh, I love this! ❤️🙌
