That 1984 Coleman stove is how I roll as well. Being that I camp at various elevations from sea level to 10K ft, I can use the LP conversoin kit for the lower elevations and when my wife is cooking, and use the dual fuel pressure tank for higher elevations. Very versatile stove and can be found on the cheap at garage sales, Goodwill, and other second hand stores.
Tell Ron to flip the little lever to the up position for about 3-5 minutes upon first startup so it doesn't flame so much.

You should invest in some of those wheels for the kayak. Make it a little easier to drag

I cannot believe that some park ranger wannabe had the arrogance (although you said "politeness")to tell you "nicely" to stow your generator. Although he was "nice," I would have blown his pointy head CLEAN OFF and buried his snooty ass in the swamp.

Have you tried the air conditioner set up before? Did you change out the starting capacitor in it? Thanks.
I've used this set up about 6 times now. It works great. I can even run 2 ac units off that same generator.
