I’ve loved watching your channel as we have the same trailer only ours is a Geo Pro. We just took ours on a trip from our home in California to Texas to see the solar eclipse. Never plugged in once. The solar kept everything going including our freezer on our refrigerator. Froze ice cream perfectly. We could easily live in ours because of all the storage. Love your ideas of the mirror in the bathroom.
Great job with the Command strips! Love mirror and contact paper on the bathroom door. Great idea in the comments to attach a strap to the storage buckets and I would stick some felt discs to the bottom so they will slide easier! Awesome channel!
Hi, like your channel, love your spirit. Few things, I'm a guy, I've never needed a full length mirror. I think one square on the outside of shower door would've sufficed to do your makeup. More mirrors, more weight. Also, books hanging on wall, not a good idea. Either the commands hooks give out or your wall texture will, think bumpy roads. Anyway, love your little rig, hope to get one just like yours someday. Stay safe.
Very good points! I did consider one mirror but liked the full length idea since I have one in my house. I considered the weight for sure. As far as the wall basket, Maybe I can take the books out and lay them on the bed for travel to keep from bouncing around. But I do see what you’re saying! Thank you for the feedback! ☀️
For the second storage bin I would attach a length of cord to the bin long enough to lay on top of the first one making it easy to pull it forward. Easy & managable.
Great idea on the mirror!! I’m doing that to mine. One hint get a clothes pin to put on paper towel roll when you travel it will prevent it from unrolling from the bumps in the road, took me a couple of roles before I figured it out 😂. Also a tap light with a command strip next to the head of the bed
Great ideas to organize your Free Spirit space. I also have two hooks at my door for the tow vehicle keys & camper keys & I really like your fan. Please find a different location for the dust pan and don’t block your converter it does need clear area for ventilation. Great video Steph thank you.
Love the mirror. That's such a great idea. I really like everything you showed us. Especially the organization around the bed and the kitchen. What I decided regarding plates and cups is to keep it to a real minimum. I'm using all my to go packaging from all the door dashing I've done - they all have covers and are perfect for any left overs from meals and easy to wash. If washed and sanitized they can be used to store things too. I wonder if you put something on the underside of the blue storage bins (under your bed) if they would be easier to move back and forth. Great video as always!
I was thinking you could use a table runner. Glue a dowel to one end so you have a lip to pull both bins when you pull the runner. Or make a wooden frame to fit both bins, with a handle, like a drawer without a bottom. Also, to protect the glass stove cover, consider getting a dish drying pad. Loved your ideas, especially the “wooden” shower door & the fan. Thanks for sharing.
Other ideas: 1. If the basket by bed is too heavy, cut 2 or 4 pockets from over the door shoe hangers and attach to that spot to use as a "night table". 2. Can also use a few of the shoe pockets at entrance to put things you need quick access to by door: bug dope, sun screen, lip balm, hand cream, bbq lighter, etc. 3. If your shower is not a wet bath, shoe pockets work great in bathroom too. 4. Put a couple of hooks outside in strategic spots to hang wet raincoats, outside garbage bag, etc 5. For outdoor fire pit, look for a small one that will fit in your outside storage. Look for Little Red. It doesn't emit a lot of heat, but is enough for one. 6. Outdoor cooking: Look for small, portable bbq that will fit in outside storage. Keep that on an old towel or a dish drain to keep the floor clean. 7. Consider using a stationary sorter (a bit smaller than a cutler sorter) to go on top of your cutlery holder, as another layer in your drawer. 8. Another option for spices are the small tins that have a magnet on bottom. They often come with a magnet strip that you can attach under cupboard. 9. Cookware: look for nesting pots and pans. Some have removable handles for better packing. Look for collapsible strainer, kettle (or a flat kettle), storage containers, bowls. 10. Clothes storage: pack your clothes in the cubes like a file, rather than layering them on top of each other. Some folks like packing cubes, too. 11. Take spare set of sheets - can put under the sheets you use, or tuck them into an empty throw pillow case on your bed. 12. Since your bed is permanently down, consider a small folding table. I store mine as a head board. I also have a folding stool that I use to sit st the table, if I don't want to sit on the bed. 13. Be sure to get a chair for outside. Not storage, but make sure that you have: Small tool kit with screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, hammer, rope, SPARE fuses. Portable battery or solar lights in case your battery is running low. Choose ones good for indoor or outdoor.
You may also want to consider the space in front of the converter (under bed storage). That converter has a little fan and it will let off heat but also need room to get fresh air to cool off.
For the Paper Towel holder you might want to get this one: Swaitee Paper Towel Holder, Easy Tear Wall Mount Under Cabinet with Damping Function, Stainless Steel Paper Roll Holder Adhesive or Screw for Bathroom. It has a ratchet mechanism so the Paper Towels will not roll off while you are on the road. Use the Adhesive with two screws and it will not come off - I also put it in front of the light in the center of the shelf so if I have the lights on and I'm in the bed it will block some of the direct light. Love all your ideas - I am relooking at a lot of what I have done to get more organized - keep the videos coming.
Love the mirror idea - I'll be watching to see if it stays up for you, especially since you actually use your wet bath for showering. I've thought about putting just one mirror square on the wall above the bathroom storage space, but wasn't sure it would stick. I also LOVE the paper you put on the outside of your bathroom door! You said you got it at the dollar store - do you mean Dollar General or Dollar Tree or some other dollar store? I'd love to get some of that for my bathroom door if I could find it! Looks GREAT - and provides more privacy!
The mirrors have held up so far! I’ll keep you updated ☀️ I found the paper at dollar tree but i had to use gorilla puddy to stick it on there because of the uneven service of the door, it’s the only thing that would stay
I also have the 15tb- the bathroom mirror- I struggled with the command strips to hold them up- I had my mirrors fall a couple of months after first installing them. I ended up getting a dorm mirror (full length) and then used Alien tape on the outside of the door. I haven't had the mirror fall yet and it's been almost 2 years and LOTS of miles and bumpy roads.
Your paper towels may unwind as you roll down the road. I switched to viva papertowels because they "cling" to each other. I also turned my paper towel dispenser so it's vertical vs horizontal. Also- look into the Evapodry device for the humidity vs the damprid (or dollar store knock off)
A vertical paper towel holder can take up valuable counter space. I use an over the door towel holder from dollar store. It comes apart, so you can insert the paper towel. It can be a bit fiddly to put it together, but it works well.
I just purchased a 14fk Flagstaff Epro so this video was super helpful! I am definitely subscribing to your channel. I will say from watching lots of video, one thing that I have saw people do with their knifes and other cooking utensils that are metal is use a knife rack on the wall and they stay in place even on travel days. That would free up your drawer for other things and could be on the side of the wall with your oven mits.
Let me know your organizing tips and ideas! 💡
Thanks!
Thank you for your support! 🫶❤️

Great idea!
For all your utensils, Get an oven mitt, hang on a command hook on the wall. Fill with utensils
Will free up drawer and counter space.
Great idea! ☀️

Thank you ☀️ Great idea for storage containers! I don’t have enough space to put anything under the storage bins, but they slide easy anyway.

Great job! Personalizing a rig can be much fun. The only "right way" is the way that works best for you 👍 Thanks for sharing your journey.

Wow, that's a really great list of ideas! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this list ☀️ Super helpful!
The laminate looks like it's from the factory. Great idea and application!

Thank you for the tip 🙏 I’ll make sure nothing blocks it
Put some felt sliders on those buckets 👌🏼
Great idea!
Nice ideas! I bought Beddy’s zip up bedding. It’s a little pricy but we’ll worth it. Bed always made up nice and tidy!
Wow, all great ideas especially the mirror. The outside of the shower door looks amazing. Not just pretty, you're very smart too. Love the video!❤
Thanks so much! 😊
New subbie here, you did an excellent job.👏🏾👏🏾
Welcome! ☀️ Thank you so much!
Good job Steph! That mirror was a game changer. It can be used open or closed for doing your legs and hair.
The mirror is a game changer for sure! ☀️

My wife and I, enjoy your videos, we just purchased a geo pro trailer, thanks so much
That is awesome! I’m so glad you enjoy the videos ☀️
you rock Steph ! good things do indeed come in small packages. I’ll need to bring my trailer down so you can fix mine up next.😊

Dollar tree has a ton of organizing stuff
Yes 🙌 That’s where I got some of my items ☀️
