@@ghanezu As a user of MC101 I personally think Roland's FX are better in terms of quality... but you need to know how to tweek them without a colourful screen and diagrams....They are so close to TcHelicon's vocal effects which are the best in the market.
Dope video, I started producing really young on an mpc 2000 and got away from the work flow for a to long time. Just recently got back in it with the Mpc live II, and some of these features they've added are simply blowing my mind. Auto tune and a harmonizer in an mpc is nuts lol. Can't wait to play around with those effects.

For the age of the tech of a V-synth, it was and still is an amazing pcs of gear/tech. Helicon makes amazing stuff obviously. I'm coming at it from the synth world though. @@FreeBeat what I found out from the expert on the Akai Facebook group is that using the vocal suite on the Force often causes the Audio to cut out on The Force but worse just before it cuts out it sends a spike of electricity to the monitors that can destroy tweeters! It is being reported. Don’t know if this is the case with MPCs
if I'm in song mode and have recorded audio track 1 then start with audio track 2, audio track 1 is overdubbed every time. I just don't know what to do and need urgent help.

The microphone goes into my audio interface, then the output of my audio interface is plugged into both the left and right of my MPC. That's also the exact same way I connect the microfreak :)

This was all useful info, BUT I've tried running my condenser Mic into my preamp, and the preamp into the mpc (live). When I go to mpc, go to audio, and arm it, it doesn't pic up any sound at all. And NO ONE is telling me anything or helping me with THAT part.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this previously but you should really put the inserts in this order for the best. AutoTune >Harmonizer >Doubler >Reverb.

Yeah haha for this video I just set everything to max to demonstrate how the effects work. They actually can be quite subtle if you'd like them to :)
