I own the kit and I love it. The box wasn't as hard to open as you made it out to be. It took me no time at at all. Instructions on how to use it are on the back. I swear by this thing. I use it every day for work. The pink buttercream blush is fantastic on my skin, and I've been using that every day, even when I'm not going to work. Read the back of the box - the instructions are there. I started using Laura Geller products last summer, and just love them.
I love Laura Geller’s baked Balance and Brighten foundation and I have used it for over 2 years. That palette would make more sense if it had a foundation in it instead of two highlighters. I don’t see the purpose of a shimmery highlighter when the bronzer and blush are both shimmery. I do like the eyeshadows in it and the overall look is really pretty ! I wish these creators would stop following the current makeup fads that younger women like (as in super shimmery) and just do basic pretty makeup that everyone can use, especially older women ! AND they need to make healthier products. BHT causes cancer. I use my Yuka app these days.
I agree Lisa! I think the reason they didn’t include a foundation is because there’s so many different shades they would need to create. I don’t understand the two highlighters either, especially when both the blush and bronzer have shimmer in them.

For foundation and blush I’ve been using LG baked powders for a couple years. I am not as taken with her other products. I don’t use a highlighter as the blushes and bronzer (if you use it) have shimmer.
I’m thinking about trying Laura Geller foundation that you are talking about.
I just opened my identical kit and followed along with Laura and then you. I did everything Laura suggested and I am very pleased with the results.
I found the kit to be well with the price.
Also, she suggests the Tahitian Glow as your foundation. She says it can be customized coverage based upon the pressure you use when loading your brush and applying.
I strongly suggest people watch Laura herself demonstrating using her products for a more accurate description.
I would add - this kit does come with a full size foundation and the brush. I purchased specificlally to take on a 14-day trip to Europe and was very happy with the results and ease of use. The mirror was helpful in the case too. Everything I needed to pull a full face of make-up together quickly (except mascara and lip gloss) is in this kit.
Mine did not come with a foundation. Just the kit with the 7 colors.
Omg. I had to use the chat assist on the Laura Gellar website to figure out how to open that dang thing. Glad to know I wasn't the only one who struggled!

I got this palette probably 6 months ago and have only used different products a few times since I got it. It seems so boring but creates the most beautiful looks for both every day or special events. I got it on a really good sale for about $40 and ended up buying a backup since I love it so much. One of my blushes is a little darker than the other but I still love it. I’m tempted to get her new palette, Tuscan dreams

I think it looks absolutely beautiful on you!!!! I did notice your eye lifted at the end when you pressed under your eye. I got it for $35 and I'm excited because I haven't done any of this "contour" stuff and you and Laura's videos make it look very durable

I use her balance and brighten as foundation, and I have the retractable brush. Day one I apply from the palette and day 2 I use what's left on the brush from the previous day. This foundation lasts a long time for me. I'm very happy with it.

New subscriber for having watched this review of Laura Geller products. Thanks very much for reviewing Laura Geller’s combination of her products. I wasn’t sure if it was for me, and now I know that the whole kit is not for me. But, I really like her Baked Balance N Brighten powder foundation and it does what she claims, it doesn’t fill in wrinkles like liquid foundations can. I saw her powder foundation demonstrated on one of those home shopping networks on different complexion models and was impressed enough to purchased it. Best ever foundation I have tried and I see no reason to go back to liquid foundations ever again. Brush on after all your facial preps and you’re ready for her blush. I hope that you might give it a try. It’s really good.
I think the body bronzer is one of the most beautiful natural but glowing blush on you! Gorgeous. I liked it without the blush and highlighter too. I want to try it! The way you blended it out in the worked beautifully..

If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend the physician's formula dream team palate. I love to use at this time of year. The Matt bronzer is perfection and I love the powder And both blushes . I like how you can mix them Together to customize. The only Pan I don't use much is the gold highlighter. Talk about a great face palate you can use the bronzer in the crease

When you use Laura Geller powder shadows you will get a deeper color if you wet your brush. I use the vanilla highlighter all over my lid for a base color.
I think it makes your skin look great!
I've found that for myself, my skin looks much better once I've applied everything and I go over it with a big dense fluffy brush and just swirl everything together. I noticed, and it was very evident on you, that your skin looked much better once you did the same.
Mine should be in tomorrow, i just came across your video today. Im absolutely NOT a fan of shimmer so I'm a bit concerned now after watching your video. I live in florida and we are already in the nineties here with alot of humidity and this is supposed to be waterproof, which is why i wanted to try it. I guess I'll know in a few days! I picked up a few Laura Gellar eyeshadow palettes and lip liners at Ross and really liked them. Facebook had the baked foundation on a sale so I tried it. I love the foundation as it is light yet buildable. I like a natural look and I feel it doesn’t accentuate the lines around my eyes I just reordered on an even better sale for cinco de mayo I don’t use bronzers but a vanilla high lighter was included as a free gift and I’m experimenting with it.
I was at a local thrift store and saw this with an $8 price tag. I immediately snatched it up remembering this video. It's unused. I absolutely love it. I watched Laura's tutorial I noticed that the French vanilla highlighter has literally no shimmer or glitter so I think it's just a face powder. It matches my skin tone really well so that makes this palette even more versatile. I use a Matte foundation and I normally don't like shimmery blushes and bronzers but these were very subtle. The reason I don't like them is because it highlights texture but this didn't. No wonder people like her products, they're so pigmented and blendable. My blush is not as pink as yours actually even though this is the exact same product. I'm so excited to play with it and I have a trip coming up next week so it's perfect timing. I'm a drugstore girl and this might spoil me for high-end LOL

Very pretty look. I don’t think you look too glowy, but I’m also very wary of highlighter because I feel it brings attention to the texture on my skin.
I think the glow looks really pretty! I think you are just not used to seeing it on yourself.

It’s certainly a pretty look - I did see a difference when you set under the eye. I would say it’s not a good value until I start to add up what the products would cost individually; even in a lower price point. But if the colors aren’t your thing and the components aren’t all what you want then it’s not a good option. I have enough palettes sitting around that don’t do what I want or which have a couple of good colors and some I cannot fathom using. I think there a little too much frosting in here and though I am a big fan of glow too much is aging.

I got this and the Baked and Brighten Foundation on sale. I loved the return/refund policy. My pallete came with the top broken off of a highlighter. I sent customer service a photo and they immediately shipped out another at no cost nor did I have to return the first. Wow. I loved the Foundation for its ease. I can layer it - yes, with a big fluffy brush. Loved the eyeshadows also and everything stayed in place until bedtime. Like you, I'll be careful about too much glow, but my husband even complimented me on my appearance. Again, I took advantage of the sale.
I scored a great deal on the kit from her site. For $56 every 6 months I get the pallet, foundation, and a brush.
I have this palette and absolutely adore it. Yes the bronzer and blush are very very pigmented and big fluffy brushes are needed - less is certainly more. I use it alone over bare skin or over the Balance and Brighten foundation. Gives me a healthy glow without looking "made up"

Thank you so much for trying this - I’ve seen the ads and wondered if it’s worth it! I like your review and conclusions. I’d try it, on sale. (Brutal honesty, cuz we women need to be honest with each other: I thought the under-eye hi-lighter made fine lines more visible. In fact, I hadn’t seen any before you applied the product. Good thing you’re so beautiful, and look lovely no matter what! ☺️)
I agree, and Margret, I would not use the highlighter under my eyes either. Why put shimmer under our eyes to highlight an area we want to hide? 🤷♀️

I LOVE her Balance and Brighten and her Eye Rims, especially the Bewitching Bronze. I don't find her other eyeshadows to be particularly effective.
I love Laura Geller. I don’t like a lot of make up look so she’s perfect for me. I think I’ll try this one. I will say you are heavy handed with your make up compared to what I use also. I’m not sure how you put your eye makeup on first either. Thank you for sharing. 😊

This looks very pretty. This brand has been hit or miss for me. I love the French Vanilla highlighter and used up an entire compact. But i didn’t like the Baked and Brighten powder foundation at all.

Great video! Thanks! You mentioned the lip liner happy hazelnut and I did get it. I like the color. I tried to find the lipgloss you mentioned but couldn’t find it on the LG site. Do you have another suggestion for gloss or lipstick that could go over the lined lips? I struggle to find a decent lip color that doesn’t make my thin lips thinner or feathers or is too dark.

Alsi, this kit is for the natural look so it shouldn't be dark.....
Just flip it upside down and the protector comes off. I did it and it was easy.

There is the option to get this pallete in a starter kit with a bbb foundation & the retractable brush. Its in my cart now for $60 before any codes. After watching this i'm reconsidering due to the shimmer of the blush & bronzer though.

This palette is pricey, but I’m on an email list for her and I was able to get it on sale. I don’t use this daily. I find it very it nice for traveling. It’s very basic and that’s all I need for my weekends away.

I have Laura Gellar's Balance and Brighten Foundation. It doesn't really work for me as a foundation, but I do use it as a setting powder, especially in the summer heat.

I'm glad you shared this, Bobbi! I have to say, Laura Geller products are NOT for me!! When I first started getting back into makeup I bought the LG powder foundation & I looked like a Christmas tree!!⭐️✨️⭐️✨️⭐️ and not in a good way!! I think the products are good but for it to be a "mature" founded line... NO MAM! I agree, Shannon! This pallet would’ve worked so much better for me if there wasn’t so much shimmer. I do love a shimmer in my blush, but never in my bronzer. I’m not sure why they added two highlighters when there was shimmer in all the other products as well. 🤷♀️

I use balance & brighten all the time & I love it & her eye shadow which I also love don’t have the palette she has don’t need all that.
I just managed to pick this up for £21 here in the UK on Amazon! I was wondering if it was worth the large price tag, but jumped in at that price 😊 These look very well pigmented, so I imagine will last very well. I agree with not liking glitter and too much shimmer, but this does look good & if you mix and match with nice matte products, I think it will make for a lovely look - it's great to see someone struggling with packaging & reaching for their glasses - I'm not alone!! 😂 xx

That Laura Geiler brush is for the foundation that you didn’t use. I think you could use a little more blush. Maybe it was just the camera that made it look washed out so in real life you may be right. Nice look overall. ❤

I love the LG products, but I wish I could choose the colors for the blush and the eyeshadows.
I would of liked to see a comparison to your other videos with your hair down. I think you have much more of a glow than just a matte skin. I don’t always like to wear foundation so I use the bronzer lightly all over than the blush. I think you look good but like I said with your hair back it’s hard to make a comparison. I know because I do my makeup differently when my hair is pulled back from my face

I like & use some Laura Geller products but I don't use highlighters or bronzers so this kit would not be worth it for me. I do like her blushes & some of her foundations. I agree that it would make more sense to put in the marbled foundation powder instead of 2 highlighters. The price tag is hefty for what you get in it.
It looks gorgeous you look stunning. 😍. I have a similar face to yours. But I have a pink pigmentation so the blusher would be to much on my skin also I have bright blue eyes so I would feel supper conscious of maybe wearing to much makeup. I am looking for new makeup because these days no makeup suits me anymore unless of course I do Botox then add my usual makeup, I can’t afford Botox, but I need a different makeup was told to look up Laura Geller. Unfortunately I can’t find the any foundation, all I see it’s that palette 🎨 you just used. I am in London uk 🇬🇧. Does she have the baked foundation palette? Thank you 🙏 so much. ❤. Leo in London.

Laura Geller’s baked foundation settles terribly in my wrinkles. I bought the spackle also. Not right for this 69 yr old face. I wanted so badly to love it.
Yeah, here baked foundation doesn't work for me either. My skin is just too dry!
