OK, you "girls" keep referring to your drastic aging at 50, I am 83 and have just discovered Laura Geller makeup. I haven't worn makeup before except for a bronzer, blush, and brow pencil. I applied the makeup that arrived late yesterday this morning, and I love it. I don't think it looks perfect, and it was relatively easy for me to apply for the first time. I watched your tutorial to get a better idea of how to apply the various products. I'm not sure I will do as much with my eyes as one does when younger, and I very much like the 'all-over look' Laura Geller's makeup provides. I searched a number of RUclips presentations and was glad to find yours. You are more natural in the way you use your makeup, and your personality is natural and delightful. My only thoughts back to you and your followers is avoid putting a ceiling on your life. I'm an avid golfer and skier. I now am beginning to wear makeup...another adventure! I have some thoughts for Zoom or RUclips which is part of the impetus for me to consider makeup. Live, Laugh and Love with passion! The Happy Shrink

@@SkinObsessedMary I was more self conscious when the scars would turn red after being exposure to the sun, but not anymore. I still avoid certin lipstick because it draws attention to my lip. I had to have major dental work as a result of the accident. With age, I care less. Lol. Thank you again. You provide great, real reviews.

Laura will be proud! I love many of her products especially the “new” face powder she introduced last year called Baked Balanced & Glow. LOVE IT. A bit of shimmer not enough to beam but add to skins light. I’m addicted to the Bronze & Glow too - sometimes it’s all I wear for daytime.

OMG I swear by Laura Geller.. I was able to snag the SUPER Sized compact of Medium & Tan a few years ago from Ebay. I love all of her products. I use the GLOW finish down the middle of my face and the BALANCE on the outer edge of my face. I just recently snagged the Sunswept blush..so beautiful for summer.
Absolutely fabulous everyday makeup tutorial!! The finished look was so pretty and super flattering . I loved that the bronzer did double duty on face and eyes! Great review of the products also!!

I am a huge fan of Laura Gellar makeup, especially the face products. The Baked n Brighten is wonderful, you look like yourself but better when using it! There is a full coverage powder Foundation as well, called Double Take that I like as well.
I just order a started kit, that had the foundation, blush, primer, highlighter and happend to come across this video and it helped me to know how to apply it, I never/hardly ever wear makeup and this really helps, thanks so much!!! 🎉❤

I actually broke my foundation container too. I'm 78 and just started using this makeup in the past 6 months. So far, I have only used the foundation and the blush. So far, I like both of them but plan on getting some of the concealer too.

I’m 64 and have been using Laura Geller for a little over a year. I’ve never been a fan of powder makeup, they been too drying to my skin. Hands down this Baked n Brighten changed my opinion I won’t use anything else. I also love their blush, their eyeshadows, I just ordered the eyebrow gel I think, something that keeps the brows in place. The makeup looks beautiful on you! They also have awesome sales!
Loved the overall video but was quite stunned when she applied that lipgloss 😶😍💞 it is indeed the perfect color for her! The instant gorgeousness it gave her with that finishing touch is everything I wish to find in a lip product : enhancing her natural beauty and complimenting her appeal very nicely/smoothly!!! Happy to see Laura geller products. Im not a big fan of the sticky balms. Ive tried another well known cosmetic balm, used mostly by itself and has a tint. Leaves a nice color, but you have to warm it up and rub it on. Fine for clear skin, but no coverage if you want to even skin tone. Im here to see how a powder foundation works. Liquid doesnt work very well for me, unless i use a sponge and let it dry. Thanks for this video!

I’m 46. My skin isn’t dry. I just tried my Laura Geller makeup I received. It makes my skin look 80 years old. It caused cracks and lines and crepe skin. I used the hydrate spackle primer and let dry 4-5 minutes first. This is awful! I hope the return process isn’t bad. I liked the eyeliner though. It glides on nicely.
I just love LG. Found her make up about 1 year ago. It makes my 63 year old skin feel as if Im not wearing make-up at aii. I will definitely try using the bronze in the crease, what mascara did you say you used? My sister also uses LG and didn't like their mascara so I didn't order it. I use thrive. OMG! I just found this brand and am so excited to start. I'm 57 and proud to be me, and I think this makeup enhances me and does not try to cover me up.
I learned about Jane Iredale powder foundation when I worked with a cosmetic/plastic surgeon. He recommended it for his mature patients. Along with the Laura Geller, the Jane Iredale looks much better on my 62 year old skin than any liquid foundation - doesn't emphasize wrinkles or pores.

I think it should work perfectly! The key is not to use too much...it doesn't look heavy going on so I've overdone it a few times (which I don't notice until I go out in the sunlight). A little goes a long way. It should fill in the pores nicely 👍 Let me know how it goes!

It has a mucilagenous slippery feel, absorbs quickly and is clear. It is spendy, yet I can stretch a bottle to three months. I’ve been using it for 10+ yrs. A few times I ran out and really noticed it’s absence.

I have been looking for a quick and easy foundation compact that I can also use under my eyes and is easy for traveling so I just ordered it. Less products on my 58 year old face the better! I love the Milani luminoso (sp?) blush, mascara and some lipstick in a peach and the photo here is using all that. I think it looks good on my face.

@@SkinObsessedMary Well, because of your video I loved the powder foundation because I knew how to apply it(I have mature skin now and was hesitant). I was not sure about the blush, it is so highly pigmented, but your tutorial helped. I have sensitive eyes, so the eye liner is about the only one I can use on the waterline and not have a reaction.
75. Apply LG tinted moisturizer. Then the amazing baked products. Delighted by all I have purchased. LG often on sale. Sale often includes brushes… sometimes as a free gift.

In case you come back to this, I want to ask about the possible pilling…I use Colorscience sunscreen and LOVE IT like you! Did the LG Spackle primer not mix well with it?
To be honest, I didn't try that particular primer again. I didn't care for the feel on my skin, regardless of the pilling. However, the hydrating spackle is fabulous!
I stuggled to find the right brush and in the end I find the MAC 187S (I think). It's a long stipppling brush. Works a treat because it keeps the application light. You can still build up coverage.
I LOVE IT! You look STUNNING!! I just got my first Laura Geller Products the best of the best baked full face (came with the BBB foundation and the kabuki brush)
Great video! Love the makeup as well, but ive only ever gotten the foundation and the spackle. Although ive kinda felt the spackle made my skin feel a lil greasy throughout the day...also, you are stunning! Just wanted to let you know that if you wanted to try that cat eye, ive stumbled onto a lil secret...you just use it as a stamp, but important to do it while your eye is relaxed! Also make sure its the sturdy felt tip liquid liner. Hope that helps!😊

Thank you! I do think the foundation is worth another try so maybe a different sunscreen will have have another effect 🤞 The wear time seemed to be about 3 hours but I'm going to test next week to see if I can extend that if if reapplication helps. I'll let you know!

I actually broke my foundation container too. I'm 78 and just started using this makeup in the past 6 months. So far, I have only used the foundation and the blush. So far, I like both of them but plan on getting some of the concealer too.
I'm still so impressed!

I’m 64 and have been using Laura Geller for a little over a year. I’ve never been a fan of powder makeup, they been too drying to my skin. Hands down this Baked n Brighten changed my opinion I won’t use anything else. I also love their blush, their eyeshadows, I just ordered the eyebrow gel I think, something that keeps the brows in place. The makeup looks beautiful on you! They also have awesome sales!

Loved the overall video but was quite stunned when she applied that lipgloss 😶😍💞 it is indeed the perfect color for her! The instant gorgeousness it gave her with that finishing touch is everything I wish to find in a lip product : enhancing her natural beauty and complimenting her appeal very nicely/smoothly!!! Putting it right away in my wish list!!!

Happy to see Laura geller products. Im not a big fan of the sticky balms. Ive tried another well known cosmetic balm, used mostly by itself and has a tint. Leaves a nice color, but you have to warm it up and rub it on. Fine for clear skin, but no coverage if you want to even skin tone. Im here to see how a powder foundation works. Liquid doesnt work very well for me, unless i use a sponge and let it dry.

I’m 46. My skin isn’t dry. I just tried my Laura Geller makeup I received. It makes my skin look 80 years old. It caused cracks and lines and crepe skin. I used the hydrate spackle primer and let dry 4-5 minutes first. This is awful! I hope the return process isn’t bad. I liked the eyeliner though. It glides on nicely.

I just love LG. Found her make up about 1 year ago. It makes my 63 year old skin feel as if Im not wearing make-up at aii. I will definitely try using the bronze in the crease, what mascara did you say you used? My sister also uses LG and didn't like their mascara so I didn't order it. I use thrive.

I learned about Jane Iredale powder foundation when I worked with a cosmetic/plastic surgeon. He recommended it for his mature patients. Along with the Laura Geller, the Jane Iredale looks much better on my 62 year old skin than any liquid foundation - doesn't emphasize wrinkles or pores.
I used to buy Jane Iredale and I just completely forgot about it. I need to seek it out again. Do you use liquid or powder?

I think it should work perfectly! The key is not to use too much...it doesn't look heavy going on so I've overdone it a few times (which I don't notice until I go out in the sunlight). A little goes a long way. It should fill in the pores nicely 👍

I just received a True Botanicals order with positive first impressions including their skin barrier sun shield. Have you tried Eve Lom hydration serum? I am trying the Byoma serum you recommended, yet keep going back to Eve Lom.

It has a mucilagenous slippery feel, absorbs quickly and is clear. It is spendy, yet I can stretch a bottle to three months. I’ve been using it for 10+ yrs. A few times I ran out and really noticed it’s absence.

I have been looking for a quick and easy foundation compact that I can also use under my eyes and is easy for traveling so I just ordered it. Less products on my 58 year old face the better! I love the Milani luminoso (sp?) blush, mascara and some lipstick in a peach and the photo here is using all that. I think it looks good on my face.

U look great ! I've been using LG for years. Although u didn't care for the balm primer, the blurring effect was awesome. I actually thought that you didn't need foundation. Thats how it looked on fb. Would like to see you do a full face of Mally cosmetics. She and LG are my favorites. 😊

Also a fun loving personality. 😊 I always buy her products during her sales and TSV. Lol, not affiliated, just love her and products. All day wear. Sometimes 2 days. 😄

@@SkinObsessedMary Well, because of your video I loved the powder foundation because I knew how to apply it(I have mature skin now and was hesitant). I was not sure about the blush, it is so highly pigmented, but your tutorial helped. I have sensitive eyes, so the eye liner is about the only one I can use on the waterline and not have a reaction.
75. Apply LG tinted moisturizer. Then the amazing baked products.
Delighted by all I have purchased. LG often on sale. Sale often includes brushes… sometimes as a free gift.

In case you come back to this, I want to ask about the possible pilling…I use Colorscience sunscreen and LOVE IT like you! Did the LG Spackle primer not mix well with it?
To be honest, I didn't try that particular primer again. I didn't care for the feel on my skin, regardless of the pilling.
However, the hydrating spackle is fabulous!

I stuggled to find the right brush and in the end I find the MAC 187S (I think). It's a long stipppling brush. Works a treat because it keeps the application light. You can still build up coverage.

Great video! Love the makeup as well, but ive only ever gotten the foundation and the spackle. Although ive kinda felt the spackle made my skin feel a lil greasy throughout the day...also, you are stunning! Just wanted to let you know that if you wanted to try that cat eye, ive stumbled onto a lil secret...you just use it as a stamp, but important to do it while your eye is relaxed! Also make sure its the sturdy felt tip liquid liner. Hope that helps!😊
