After years of rocking a fullbeard with a short/trimmed mustache, I switched to letting the stache grow. This video helped me tremendously, thanks Greg!
Me too. My moustache hairs are so thich and grow so aggressively outwards that I need to keep it long in the middle if I want to have any hope of shaping it, that this actually made me wince a bit.
I love Greg's videos the best, they're helpful, pleasantly presented, and he just strikes me as the most authentic model making videos on this channel. I feel he is who he is in the videos, where as some of the other models don't feel genuine like he does. I honestly think Greg should spring off onto his own channel, he'd get a million subscribers in a week easy. Greg isn't fronting trying to be something, he's simply is a cool dude, dad, and business professional.
That's high praise, and I thank you. I can vouch for all of the other Men of Beardbrand, since I have met them, that they are all the most genuine of men....true gentlemen. I do have a channel on youtube 'Greg Berzinsky'....I just need some content!
I have been looking for a tutorial on how to trim my mustache since I started growing it a few months back. And truth be told it was a picture of you that I saw on Instagram that made me want to grow my mustache just like yours. Thank you for putting this video up. My mustache isn't as epic as yours is yet but it's on its way.
This is the video I've been waiting for Greg. I've had my beard for years but I haven't really found a way to trim my stache that I've loved. I'll try the comb to the middle method now. Is it odd I find your videos incredibly relaxing too?
Due to Covid-19, I cannot get to my barber so I decided to come back to these to relearn how to trim by myself! Greg has great videos and really explains thing well!
Thank you so much! I have been trying to figure out a way to trim my mustache down for months, only to back down out of fear of destroying the whole image. Thanks to your video I can eat and drink again without getting hair in my mouth while keeping the look.
This is very insightful, after 20 years in the Navy and having to save everyday. I finally get to grow my beard and mustache. I am growing the handlebars and need to know how to trim it properly.
Great video on trimming either Greg’s Walrus or the natural style like Jeff Buoncristiano. I will never take the buzzer and hedge my mustache above my upper lip. You’re a handsome dude Greg, thanks again!
@@zizla3830 I have a long beard. I have been trimming my mustache short because I don't like food in my mustache. In my opinion the little mustache does not look right because it is not balanced or flows with the long beard. I am guessing you have not tried to grow out a really long beard.
I’m 71 years old and have a coarse curly white beard and mustache. I would love to have it straight and manageable. I’m trying to grow a beard with a heavy wide mustache. I started my mustache a month before starting my beard. I like the mustache to be the accent on top of my beard. I don’t have the heaviest or fullest of mustaches. I have a curly, coarse and wiry mustache the hairs stick straight up curly. I’ve tried wetting my moustache then use a hairdryer to straighten, also tried uppercut easy hold and Clubman Pinaud mustache wax, nothing seems to work. What would you recommend? I really like your videos. Thanks
Thank you! So many beard trimming OR mustache never mustache and beard blending at all I can’t tell u how many times I’ve screwed it up I even had to shave it down to skin a few times and go Amish!
How do you tame the hair just under your lower lip? That hair gives me the most trouble. It won't stay down it pretty much sticks straight out. I've used wax, softening cream, and I use oil daily.
Do you have any naturally unruly portions of the mustache? I'm trying to clean up a situation where the hair directly beneath my right nostril curls in to look like a bug mandible and makes the portion just outside of it look like a bald spot. Is regular oiling and combing going to fix that over time?
What about when doing a full on handlebar with the large curls should you let the center keep growing and pull it into the curls? I've heard so many things. I notice throughout the day I'm constantly pulling hair from the center of my lip out of my mouth it's quite bothersome. My curls stay tight and form but the center is so long it's getting to be a nuisance but dont want to ruin the look
Great video, just what I needed! I have an issue with some hair growing in twisty curls and pointing in wrong direction etc. Should I just trim them or try and grow more and blend in with the others? It's kinda annoying having some hair pointing up my nosrtils or wherever.
What about the hairs under your nose? I've been growing a handlebar moustache for few months now and I'm scared to mess with the natural line at the top but I'd like a cleaner line under my nostrils
This video was very helpful, Thank you for posting it :) i haven't trimmed my moustache decently before i watched this, only 1 minute into the video i had to pause it just to take your tip about combing the part of the stache you wasn't gonna clip to the sides and then focusing on the others, anyways, thanks for the video :)
I wanted to see if you trim the ends of your stash. Mine is growing great. Not all the hairs are the same length yet so it looks bad. Okay I feel better to trim just a bit off the ends.
I wish I had watched this prior to trimming my mustache... I cut across and left the ends long. Now I need to wait for it to grow out again to soften it up.
Hello Mr. Berzinsky , I have a Moustache which is too thin at the ends . But i want to have one which is a bit heavier . How could i achieve that look . P.S. My Stache gets thinner from that 1/3 part of the ending . is it about How i Apply my Wax..?
Boy Greg good job . I was stressed . I fear goofing mine up , thats how I went Epic . I had it where I wanted it and messed up , so if I cut its really minimal . Thanks
Hey guys I like your videos. I am in India trying to have good beard . My moustache grows faster than my beard is that normal. Tomorrow I am going to trim my moustache just by using my fingers and scissor without comb . Will that work fine. I am just going to experiment tomorrow. #Self grooming
After years of rocking a fullbeard with a short/trimmed mustache, I switched to letting the stache grow. This video helped me tremendously, thanks Greg!
I'm right at that point now!
I held my breath when you started to cut as if I was watching a suspense movie, haha.
Nothing to fear but fear itself.......
