Vid setting would be awesome, my frames have been horrendous since witch queen and I wonder if I’m missing something. Frames will stutter and almost unplayable in the crucible whenever I engage a gunfight. RTX 2080 super I feel like should be getting better than 90fps
@Justsumguy ? Hey mate, you could try playing with "Windowed Full screen" and see if that helps. You could also try to set your CPU priority to high. To do that, start the game, go to task manager and click on details. Right click Destiny2.exe and Destiny2launcher.exe and select priority both to high. You have to do this, whenever you start the game. If all doesn't work, I'd try to deactivate hyper-threading in your bios. Dsogaming reported a hyper-threading bug in Destiny 2 and deactivating it brought better performance with the game. No idea if Bungie ever fixed that bug. It's weird my system is much older than yours, i5 4690k & R9 390 and I get the same amount of fps as you do. I hope any of these options help. Good luck.
@@justsumguy8503 Usually not but a 2080 super should get you waaayyy more frames so it must be somethig else, in d2 it is usually the cpu. Also check if your ram is running at the XMP-Profiles speed and not default speed, costs a lot of performance. To check that just install CPU-Z and check under Memory.
Thank you for this! I recently switched from Xbox to PC and learning MnK has been challenging to say the least. I'm hoping by copying your keybinds I'll become a PvP monster too...a girl can dream 🙃😂 Keep being awesome!
Thanks for this, the reasonings behind why you have certain things actually makes total sense. Few things different from how I have mine setup, but like you said it's all preference.
Is this an old feature of the game? I can't change or assign any binding. It looks like it expects me to push a key or a mouse button, but I can only push ESC which cancels the binding. I deleted the CVARS and restarted the game but nothing changed.
I want to know which fingers you use for selecting weapons (1,2,3)? To me it seems to awkward to have to inhibit my movement from WASD to reach one of the numbers. But obviously watching your gameplay, that never seems to be an issue.
Well it takes practice really, scroll wheel is a disadvantage, you might scroll to the wrong weapon. I also use 1,2,3 and found keeping your middle finger on W, taking your ring finger off A to select 1 and 2 and finally your index finger off D to select 3, I found this most effective because you can always move seeing as your middle finger is always on W. Hope this helps.
I binded switch weapon to shift. It’s essentially how switching weapons is on console. Hope this helps. And if you don’t know what it does it essentially let’s you swap all your weapons with one key like one console.
I’m guessing 800. I also use 5 in game and 800 dpi and the gameplay kinda looks the same but hey don’t take my word for granted. If you want to be a better player use whatever feels right to you. Back in the days I was all about using other good players sens and all but I was missing something…I found out what my playstyle is and from there I decided what sens should I go for. I personally recommend 400/800 dpi as for in game totally up to you. I have friends with 1600 dpi and 15 in game sens which I could never ever use and friend with 400 dpi and 6 in game sens and they are all amazing pvp players. I like all weapons but shotguns so I stick with a lower ish sensitivity, 5 and 800 dpi.
like @Robert Ioan Tudor said sens's are personal people benefit from different things, if I was you find a sens use it for a few matches and see how you go, if you tend to be over-flicking and struggling to track targets I would turn it down, however if you are on too low of a sens and cant flick between targets effectively i would turn it up a little, its just something you'll master over time.

Lower the video quality to max your frames. You'll play better also
I'd like to see your video settings / cvars, would be pretty helpful to see if I've missed anything lol

Some good take aways there, loved the why behind it! Yes please on the vid settings.
I always just assumed you had some sort of NeuroLink
800 dpi I assume?

For the algorithm, been lovin the vids.
Vid setting with control panel and and window setting would be sweet
Diffi video settings would be awesome 👌 👏 👍
Hey what about your windows sens?
dpi?
Bro your entire explanation for sens doesn’t matter if we don’t know your dpi 😭
seems like its 800dpi
ive only ever heard the opposite. for shooters you want a mouse that weighs more. and a lower sensitivity
Really? I agree with lower sens but people always recommend a light mouse
dope
it seems i'm the only in the world that use left alt to toggle
Swap Q and Ctrl and thank Mr later. Q for class ability means u can never dodge left on hunter for example.....
like #100 😆 but interesting about separating melee and charged melee
hitting one or two seems so awkward. Like reaching all the way up with your ring finger sounds so aids. #scroll wheel 4 life.
Appreciated (:
