Turning off low latency mode for Destiny has a positive effect for a lot of people (not all. There's something wrong with it on certain setups. Don't know all the details there, so reddit that) Enhance pointer precision should be turned off regardless. It serves no benefit so whether or not Destiny specifically uses raw input or not, there's no reason to have it on.

In Nvidia control panel, under "change resolution" you should be using NVIDIA color settings, not default. Also, mouse settings like the Windows "enhance pointer precision" do not affect Destiny 2 due to the way it takes a "raw input". So, unless you hate how it feels in Windows, that's not going to change your aim. What does have an impact is the smoothing that Benny talked about in the XML file.
You have a mistake with low latency value to 0. According to Bungie: To turn off Reflex Low Latency functionality, set the value to 0. This may slightly improve framerate at the expense of latency. Default Reflex Low Latency functionality is enabled when the value is set to 1. When the value is set to 2, Reflex Low Latency with Boost is enabled. This feature overrides the power saving features in the GPU but can provide slight increases in latency reduction.
no. thats not true. you only get lower latency when your GPU/CPU hits 99,99% of most of the time. in my case, with a rtx 3080 i have arround 50-60% so i INCREASE latency if i turn low latency ON.
Missed one setting in Nvidia that can help the mouse feel more responsive. Low Latency Mode On, but not Ultra. Ultra setting had some issues in my testing. This setting will reduce the default 3 frame buffer to 1 frame of buffer. Also- Texture Filtering: high performance Monitor Technology - Fixed Refresh (if you want the lowest input latency)

Honestly, I like my games looking bad. I played CSGO on 1280x960 4:3 for years and I am used to the rough edges of minimal anti aliasing. Less detail makes me play better personally.
You also should always shoot to have as much fps as possible, always above your refresh rate. Not only it will keep the picture smoother with less visible tears, it will improve input lag and will show you information faster if you have V/G-sync off. Better framerates on single-GPU cards greatly reduce lag. Having 500fps = +2ms GPU rendering lag, and having only 100fps = GPU +10ms rendering lag. This means 500fps has 8ms less lag than 100fps, because of the GPU rendering delay.

Btw I have the same monitor as him and you can have 240hz with HDMI you just have to make sure that the cable is HDMI 2.0. Im using it rn and running 240 hz. Also, most monitors will have one standard HDMI port and one port labeled 2.0. Make sure you use the right port.

FYI: You can also set launch parameters for Destiny 2 inside Steam. Most popular settings are: -high priority -USEALLAVAILABLECORES. Also related to mice dpi; most people set a dpi for gaming and have a seperate dpi for non-gaming. If you set D2 to in-game sense of (1) this will enable you to run Raw mouse dpi, in other words; most people run 400 dpi w/ 8 game sens for an average eDPI of 3200... setting game sense to 1 allows you to run your prefered dpi straight off the system settings, thus allowing you run 3200dpi instead of doing quik mafs inside the game engine. Side Note: Regarding FOV: Bungie has confirmed, max ACTUAL FOV is 101.1 despite having the option to set it to 105. The UI says 105, but really its 101.1 because of game engine limitations
I wish i could use toggle sprint but it just messes up my slide, sometimes i crouch too soon after activating sprint and it doesnt slide, sometimes i dont realize im already sprinting so when i press shift it un activates it and i dont slide :/

Destiny has some weird fullscreen issues for me. if i set it to 1080p fullscreen on my 1440p monitor, it is always surrounded by a black frame. scaling is set to display in nvdia control panel and fullscreen optimization is disabled. does someone have a solutions for this?
@Benny as soon as I change my Nvidia settings to that of which you have and start up my game it keeps getting stuck on the loading screen before the Beyond light logo pops up every time.. Anyone perhaps have a suggestion as to why that could be and possibly offer a solution.. That would be highly appreciated..

Try turning the low latency mode back on by setting it to “1” or “2”, Benny mistakenly advices you to turn it off when it’s actually a very good feature for latency

About that "Enhance pointer acceleration"... I had no idea I had that on and after I turned it off moving my mouse feels so weird haha.

You can absolutely get above 60hz using an HDMI cable from your monitor to GPU by the way

Hdmi does unlock frame rates above 60 htz it caps out at 143 htz.
Bit late but the windows mouse settings for pointer precision have no effect in destiny 2 as it uses its own mouse settings

so ive been playing at 450dpi and 10 sens .6ads and been doing alot better now is that a weird sens to play on? i play valorant 450dpi 1.0 .82
I know a fair few people that play around those numbers. Weird sense tends to be really high or really low. Yours is definitely low but not super low
