    I hate to tell you, but the ad that you ran at the start of this video is against destiny terms of service if you have other people doing recoveries for you. you will no doubt get your account banned unless they are just carries.

    • @FourEyesGames
      @FourEyesGames  2 года назад +10

      Yeah this ad was for Sherpas, which is perfectly fine, and actually teaches players how to best clear raids and nightfalls etc. Just means that if you are busy in general or don't want to queue with random LFGs, you can get peace of mind that you are in good hands.🙂

    Thanks for the video, very helpful for a returning player like me!
    For people who are running Gsync, you’d want to enable Vsync via the nvidia control panel and turn off vsync in game for the smoothest performance. However, you’d want both these settings off if you are hitting the max refresh rate of your monitor without fps fluctuations.

  • @deegii0904
    @deegii0904 Год назад +5

    put resolution and anti-aliasing to max, and everything else to low. Almost no visual difference with massive FPS increase. Sometimes low detail actually looks better than high. Engine of this game is strange.

    In destiny 2, the emphasis is on the CPU, not the video card. When you're 1, fps is normal, when 3 players or more and a lot of mobs - fps dies :D

    • @jeremymatthew6626
      @jeremymatthew6626 Год назад

      correct. I upgraded my laptop to the 24 core i9-13980HX (GT Titan77 MSI laptop) and holy shit. no dips ever- its stuck at my max monitor(s) refresh rates. Prior to that, my 10th gen i7 laptop was having dips to 30 fps. Was unbearable- and that was with a 3070 GPU

    Very cool video, just leave everything at minimum! It would be better if the video was shot as the game is not optimized for modern hardware. My 4090 does not give an increase in fps at all, that the card and the percentage are used from the strength of 40% and no matter what load is on the screen

    I don’t even tell a difference with these vs max settings if y’all got a pretty high end pc just run max settings with motion blur and stuff like that off I only got 10 frames more with these settings same frame drops

    Just a FYI anti aliasing and Depth of field goes hand and hand in destiny 2 having lower depth of field actually hurts how lighting/slim objects renders and having higher aliasing can help but doesn't solve the issue and destiny really doesn't use depth of field like other games depth of field is a game specific thing and varies from game to game and it decides how things are rendered and blurred at angles and straight on and it has minimal impact on performance but the visuals by having highest depth of field are significantly better in destiny's case and some other games but I can agree that in certain situations in other games it does look bad.

    How dare you hate on film grain and chromatic aberration. Ya we are playing a video game, but it makes these games look more cenimatic which is what alot of people like. Also people use these settings if ur a gameplay capture artist to get the best possible screenshots or cenimatic gameplay.

    Interesting. I'm a Destiny veteran. Too embarrassed to give you my total hours. It's obscene. Just as a flipside "debate" for PC's with mid-tier specs (I've a Ryzen 5 5600x, RTX 2060S type rig) and a 144hz monitor at 1080p. The flipside I'm talking about is the STOCK standard Bungie settings are expertly tailored IMHO. This I recently discovered when I uninstalled and reinstalled on a new PC build. So, if you've a mid-tier gaming rig. The standard settings are pretty solid IMHO. I also have spent a lot of time tweaking video settings in Destiny and with PC GPU settings etc. I'm over it. I'm arguing for the stock settings for those with a rig that's mid-tier. I'm also a veteran of checking the SMAA/FXAA versus OFF comparisons. I've learned the stock setting which is SMAA is best, if your rig is up for it. You can check it here : images.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/comparisons/destiny-2/destiny-2-anti-aliasing-interactive-comparison-001-smaa-vs-fxaa-1920x1080.html - dragged the slider over to the right - look at the ceiling light which is high up above the weapon peep sight. SMAA is best. I'm not the greatest PvP guy so, it's not an issue for me and SBMM (Season 18 Skills Based Matchmaking) has me rapidly climbing to KDA's I've never had in my entire experience of D1 and D2. On stock video settings. I'm so happy with them, I'm not tweaking a thing.
