About 10 years ago I cleaned up my photography gear in a big way, and it was the best way to boost my creativity and fun in the creative process. I’d amassed a decent collection of glass (28/2.8, 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.4, 24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8) and got tired of lugging it around. Sold all of it, incl the camera, and bought a single Leica rangefinder and 50/1.4. Never looked back, and only now am I at the point where I feel like adding a second lens. Leica’s price tags are good way to cure gear lust of course, especially for a hobbyist, but I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for minimalism in their photography kit (provided it matches the type of applications you need it for of course). Great video as always Peter!!
