- It’s a sea of blue in Chicago to honor the life of slain police officer Ella French. Hundreds of officers from across the country saluted the first female Chicago cop to be killed in the line of duty in 33 years. Now her partner Carlos Yanez Jr., who was also critically wounded in the attack, is speaking out for the first time from the hospital, thanking supporters for their donations and prayers. He was shot in the eye and currently is paralyzed. He faces a long recovery.

There was a story about the two brothers own mother demanding to see her son when by law if a criminal is sent to the hospital,police need to be on standby in order to question said criminal. But the mother didn't give a damn about respecting the law,just goes to show the rotten apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

It would have been rude of her not to show up. And just maybe she does have sympathy for a cop who lost her life in a tragic way. Regardless what you blame her for, pointing blame only adds to the problem with current America. It won't fix anything. This country is dividing more and more everyday and it will be our downfall. It's best to talk about a solution and to prevent this from happening again.
