I'm proud of Boomerang for the effort they put into the schedule. I noticed how we also see occasional rotations of Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, Foster's Home, Camp Lazlo, or Flapjack on here. Shows you don't see on Checkered Past... so the other classics like Dexter's Lab, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed Edd n Eddy, Billy & Mandy, or sometimes Cow & Chicken, remain on the Checkered Past schedule over on the CN/AS schedule.
So it seems like right now the best place to catch old Cartoon Network originals are on Checkered Past or occasionally across the Boomerang schedule, but to see a lot of Hanna-Barbera variety on Boomerangs schedule again like the old days is a breath of fresh air, including Popeye and Looney Tunes as well. Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries... WOW, I haven't seen reruns of that on CN years... and Taz-Mania also hasn't been on in forever, that's wild!
You know it's funny, the overdose of Scooby-Doo isn't anything new. Boomerang in the past has had stretches where there were loads of Scooby-Doo shows on, and for a franchise that's 55 years old and keeps making Scooby-Doo reboots year after year, it seems like that will never go away. Even Cartoon Network in the early 2000's, I remember when the 2002 Scooby-Doo movie came out in theaters, they were playing loads of Scooby-Doo shows and movies across the schedule, and there were even blocks called Scooby Universe and Scooby Alley back then for loads of Scooby-Doo content.

It's all coming back to you... Too bad Boomerang for some odd reason isn't available on Comcast/Xfinity, most likely because NBCUniversal has beef with Warner Bros or something.
Boomerang coming back with a great schedule seems fitting, because the point of a boomerang is that it comes back to you.
You know I like this haha. When Boomerang has more variety than CN lol. I smell maybe another rebrand. Or closure. We shall see.
Closing Boomerang channel made us disappointing.
The scheduling is the least of their problems that's the easiest fix for these channels. Just add variety every ½hour and maybe a movie or two and there you go.
It's good that they improved but it's also too late considering a lot of people still don't have cable.
What these streaming services should do is add a livestream that is similar to cable with this kind of scheduling
RUclips TV has Cartoon Network and Boomerang on there I'm pretty sure.... but outside of that... yeah... if you don't have cable it is what it is.

@@JamieSnowdenYT Thanks. Too bad Huckleberry Hound & Atom Ant couldn't come back to the schedule due to it being part of a Separate Syndication Package that Boomerang doesn't have access too unfortunately.
Boomerang sure has been getting better and better for the past few months. It’s like the channel finally started to listen to their audiences. My respect for boomerang has been getting higher and higher every time they add a classic show on there. But this schedule is probably the best boomerang did so far, it’s feels like it’s going back to its glory days. I mean it’s very rare to see kids channel, that went a channel that was a shell it’s it’s former self ever since the rebrand to basically a channel that redeemed itself and going back to its original roots just like the early 2000s. I wish the same can be said for CN, Nicklodeon, Disney channel, Disney XD or other kids channel. Because their channels sure has been lacking variety so far. But boomerang on the other hand, seemed to be kicking CN’s ass in terms of variety.
Boomerang looks to be bringing back the Classics! Now we just need a Rebrand!
Yea the 2015 rebrand is very outdated
I wish other channels could follow suit with Boomerang. Not that they should bring back old shows, but more shows in general, ongoing, upcoming, and old.
Damn, Boomerang is doing a damn good job! Unlike other networks, Boomerang actually cares about giving kids more to watch!!
and they're not dumping CN's older shows at post-midnight timeslots neither
@@andrewclark3330 James lives in the Central time zone, so they kinda are still at midnight
@@Bigheadtalking they were like that for me too. although Popeye does gets more airtime whereas before. it usually airs after midnight or around the crack of dawn

Wow i didn't know that but i still want to see popeye in Color cuz thats how i remember watching it and idk but i wish they bring back that blue boomerang they can redesign it and redesign the promos of the old shows and make some new bumpers and interactions with the cartoons for a new old identity
this schedule in my opinion is the best schedule we have had in years as the flintstones the jetsons popeye etc actually gets a chance to air during the daytime i even like the 2:00am-6:00am 2 hours rotating block they have as for the repeating schedules i don't think that's really needed as they could've add a little more shows but i thought the schedule was already improving around summertime. also the reason they don't have many HB shows is because that WB has a 3 year deal or something like that like for example boomerang can air the flintstones but not magilla gorilla nor huckleberry hound

With this 3 year deal thing I’ll see what happens if they air Huck Hound in 2027, If not I think I might go to one flea market next month to get you know I’m getting nothing but VHS tapes with one of those shows. It’s better then nothing but it is all coming back to me so yeaha. Maybe find rare Hanna barbera cartoons on vhs tapes I never own in my lifetime.

Last time I watched Boomerang, I saw that Flapjack was going to air, but it turned out to be a Hannah Barbara thing instead.
Boomerang kinda got rid of Camp Lazlo, Flapjack, etc.
Though it does make sense now, seeing how Cow and Chicken and Evil Con Carne recently popped up on Checkered Past.
Maybe in 7 months or something we'll get Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends on Checkered Past.
If you're wondering why Boomerang don't air more H-B or CN shows, they probably don't have them in their package of shows they can air.

nah i think it's because that dave byer and michael owleen cares about the schedule to bad dave byer will no longer be in charge of scheduling in march or april witch is sad as the next person in charge might not care about the scheduling as much and will probaly revert boomerang back to the 24/7 looney tunes tom and jerry and scooby doo network again or even worse a cartoon network 2 again but you may never know it might stay the same as it is now
0:38 it hasen't been that long since laff a lympacs aired as the last time it aired was on december 30th 2023

@joshuamunn2410 Boomeraction also had Superfriends, Johnny Quest and Space Ghost (the OG Space Ghost specifically. i don't think Coast To Coast ever aired on Boomerang to my knowledge since it's more of an Adult Swim specific show)
