    Brilliant Audrey, and I love that you don’t edit out the little mistakes that we all make at some time,makes me chuckle! Thank you for sharing your experience. 😃😃😃

      Hahaha! Thanks, Lynne! I think I am too lazy to film it again so I leave the bloopers in. As you say, we all make mistakes. Thanks again for watching!🎄

    So beautiful Audrey! I think I will adopt the idea of cutting the holes out before you remove the form. So smart.

    I laughed when you started cutting the new part. I have done that as well and other stupid things as well. We are all fallible. I think our brains are so full of busy thoughts we stop thinking about what we’re doing. lol. Love the trees!!!

      Hahaha! Glad I made you laugh! For sure, we all do those stupid things. I am to lazy to film it again so you get the blooper show. 🤣. Thanks for watching!🎄

    I loved this video! I looked for Sara’s but can’t find it. Do you mind sharing the link? I use the same straw technique to cut holes but I use the handle of a paint brush to push the clay out as I go. I love your glazes!

    Hi Audrey. Can you tell me what temperature do you fire your ceramics to. I've been taking my temp to 1200deg celcius and I get so many pin holes. I'm thinking that my firing temperature is to high. I use Amaco and or Spectrum glazes. The clay I use is white stoneware. Much appreciated.

      My regular firing is a slow cool. My top temperature is 2200F which is 1205C. Do you do a straight firing or do you do a slow cool?

      @AudreyLynnStudios Hi Audrey. I always do a straight firing.

    • @AudreyLynnStudios
      @AudreyLynnStudios  7 дней назад

      @fionabryant2311 Ok! Well, It's very beneficial to do a slow cool firing because it is very well known to drastically reduce pinholes, and I know, because it works for me as well as so many other potters. Have you programed your kiln before?

    • @fionabryant2311
      @fionabryant2311 7 дней назад

      @AudreyLynnStudios oh so that's the trouble. Yes I can programme my firing temperatures no problems.

      @AudreyLynnStudios  7 дней назад

      @fionabryant2311 Ok! I will give you the link to my firing schedule. The top temp is different than the one I use now BUT try it first. Like I said , my top temp is 2200F. That's just because I like my firings hot. The one on my blog should work ok for you. PLEASE, get back to me about how it worked.
