I have TicWatch Pro 3 GPS for about a mounth and I can say that I am lucky. Only problem I have is with Touch to wake. Screen goes on and off all time. If I turn off Touch to wake everything is OK. I don't know if they fixed that in latest firmware from 2 days ago. After this update, no more that problem. So, in the end, this is the best watch I had.
They fixed most of glitches and bugs with the latest update., and the manual is a good place to start in avoiding downstream problems. Over all its a coo watch
Mobvoi has been kind of suspicious about what they sell. IP68 on the watch but you might damage it with simple hand washing and splashing. Some users have reported watch malfunctioning after a water dip such as random vibrations and watch resetting. Eddie you have stated in your review that Mobvoi admits to bad batch of watches which is a very discouraging answer if they're looking for trust in their products.

My watch lasts day. Exercise with GPS, about 20 minutes of music, notifications during day (SMS from wife, few Viber messages), sleep, heart rate. That's it. I have my watch 5 days. Maybe there's hidden, secret option (not essential mode which turns everything off) to make the battery last but I didn't find it.
You get a thumbs up for letting us know about loosing the speaker drain if the Tic apps are removed. I'm getting this watch and was considering to remove the apps. Now I will deal with them just to keep that speaker drain app. Thanks bro
this is my 6th wear os watch and 4th galaxy watch device and i'm pretty good at figuring things out. i have my issues with the watch and as stated in some other comments this is in fact the BEST you can get when it comes to Wear OS currently. Let's say i did mess up during some set up process. It shouldnt be that difficult for ANYONE. This video is to just let people know that they might have some weird quirks. This watch was just released and with any newly released tech device their tends to be some quirks which can definitely be ironed out. I even stated that i might buy it again in the future. Wear OS, Tizen, Fitbit, Garmin, Apple etc all have great things about of them.

I want to love it but im not paing 300 bucks for something like this. A few examples? "ok Google" dont work, you have to trigger the button. Health Sensors can stop working. Send Text with Google Assistant, dont work. Sleep Tracking is inaccurate, GPS has issue with accuracy. Reminders? I think this guy got a dud. Cause I have had mine from the start too and never had all these issues. They did send out updates as they do in the first few months. I get 4 to 5 days before essential mode kicks in and having essential mode is awesome, so when the watch's main features die you can still get the time etc like a normal watch for days, instead of having a band with nothing going on. The only issue I have is that when your alarm goes off on your mobile you cannot snooze it, I get this with a few other notifications to, like calendar or accepting 2FA approvals etc Overall, after the updates it works as advertised
I bought mine on Black Friday. Got it super fast. Been using it for a day. Great watch. The only thing that doesnt seem to work is Google voice assistant... no audio for that app only. Sound ok elsewhere.

Essential mode is when you power off the device into essential mode which in that mode you can't turn on the wear os, you don't have notifications and all. Also, the three days is when the always on display disabled. Also, about the seeker draining, you can install 3rd party app for that if you like (on all wear os watches). Still waiting for mine to be sent, I hope that it will be good.
I bought this watch before 10 days and I use it for 5 days and then all sensors stopped working and when I go to company forum I get chocked alot of people talking about this problem and no support from the company... Really big sham for 300$ watch

I suggest people who want to buy this watch to go to mobvio forum and read what people wrote everyone have same problems with this watch and very bad support from company
The battery drains fast if too many features are turned on and Bluetooth left on etc etc etc. When setting it up and playing with it for the first time the battery will drain fast. It is expected. Make sure any feature/function that you don't use are turned off. This is a common problem/situation experienced by many. Easily fixed. :)
I bought my watch in germany for 3 weeks, and i can confirm that the watch is full with Bugs. It starts with wrong Translation on the watch and the App. When im loosing bluetooth connection sometimes the watch has to re-pair with the Phone again (confirm Pass key) . Many functions with the Google Assistant dont work (ok google, showing pictures, send an whats App, wrong location and so on...) it cames "cant reach to the Phone". With the 2 years old huawei watch 2 lte it works.. Also the watch launched with defectives chargers. And so on.. So im loving the watch, cause the design, the battery and the Performance is very good. But i think its better to wait some month before buing the watch and mobvoi and Google has fixed all the Problems. I really hope that Google is fixing their wear os Bugs and focus more on his Smartphone market!!!

Yes and thats just some of the Bugs i has written. I think the watch lauched too soon, and the consumers are the alpha testers... Actually mobvoi has stopped their own watchface marked, cause they have problems with her own watchfaces they sell 😂 Every one can read the Software Problems on the officially mobvoi forum.. It's also funny that the Translation on the watch is in some Apps in spain and italian instead as german. The installed watchfaces are terrible and look like designed for LCD screens instead as oled screens (looking like washed out). All the watchfaces are White in ambient Mode and some of them are flickering. Can you tell me the Name of your watch face, looks nice and colorfull?

Yes there are some small bugs that happens from time to time but thats just a norm with smart watches. But this watch is one of the best smart watch for wear os period.
I 100 percent agree with you. When it comes to wear OS this is in fact the best watch you can buy right now. I made this video so people can be aware of those potential issues and know if they may have gotten a bad watch. As mentioned in the video I may buy one again in a few months but for now I'm sticking with my Galaxy watch active 2 44mm. I'd much rather have Google Assistant and the wear OS notification system.
Other reviews I watched are superficial and don't seem to have used the watch for an extended period of time. People seem to be just excited about this because of the newest chip.
Both GW3 and Tickwatch 3 are Military rated at 810. Same rating as most GShocks. Both are extremely durable watches even though they look elegant. I work an extremely hard and dirty construction job and wear my GW3 24/7 aside from charging. Got a protector of course because they will scratch just like any other watch. But don't be fooled by the elegance. These watches are tough.
i've been using my pro 3 since release and have been absolutely happy. up until now, for some weird reason the battery life went from 3 days to less than 20h in an instant. really damn sad
Aside from OS2 being a buggy mess the watch has been ok although I'm returning it as their build quality is shocking when it comes to the speaker. Mine has failed and no matter what I do it won't right itself. It goes off and then goes to a muffled crackled mess even with the water clearing etc. I'm done with Mobvoi as they can't be honest and make a decent watch that lives up to their claims. This is a shame as the watch has potential if it was built right and supported better by google.
It is a fraud. The oxygen and heart sensors stopped working just after two weeks I bought the Ticwath PRO 3 GPS. I contacted the Mobvoi support team and the answer was that wetting the watch wasn´t covered by the warranty and they only offered me a 30% discount on another product. This is clearly a scam or fraud.
are you in the USA? I bought it directly from them and on the site I remember it said 30 no hassle returns. I'll look again when I'm on the computer. if you see that I would just start the return yourself since you do it manually anyway and have to wait for there approval
Did you end up buying it again? Noticed a trend with some people that commented around 3 months ago onwards, they seem to be backing the watch now. Maybe they have sorted out a lot of the bugs. Keen to buy it, but definitely more weary after watching this. Cheers
I ended up getting a galaxy watch 3. I still prefer wear os especially for the notifications. if you're going to buy it buy it through Amazon just in case you don't like it

Honestly I don't mind having extra apps and you probably left something on at night, for me the watch lasts about three to 4 days without essential mode
should get a wedding band tattoo on your finger. wife can't complain then as its always with you. its also a journeyman secret for the trades as jewelry is a big no no around power tools
Is it a worst screen than the galaxy watch 3 because i had the gear s3 and never got a scratch on the screen so id expect this watch to have a better screen than that old watch
Thank you for this review, one of the things that I wanted to switch to WearOS is because I heard that notifications on WearOS is much better than Samsung watches and also Google assistance. But seeing your review I will just keep my Samsung GW3 and enjoy its consistency until google fixes WearOS. Samsung is been consistent like you said but I just hate Bixby (very slow to respond and text to speech is not accurate most of the time). Also I was hoping that Ticwatch would be a better on the battery life but it seems that I might gain extra day over what I get with GW3 which is not a big deal.

there's definitely some dumb issues with wear OS but most of the weird issues I believe are with the TicWatch. if you're not in a rush I'd wait a little since more companies will come out with more wear os watches with the 4100 processor. the Samsung watches are nice and I'm currently using the active 2 44mm now. what phone are you using?
@@artemasoyan using the Google home assistant for info on a watch is kind of dumb, but if your home is google smart enabled. having the ability to broadcast, turn on lights etc without taking out your phone is nice. Samsung smart watches have always been consistently reliable for me though and buying one used off of a website like swappa can save you a ton of money. if you REALLY need a smartwatch now I'd buy used but in excellent condition and sell when more new wear os options come out from bigger brands. if you're going to buy the tic watch I'd get it from a big brand like Amazon for easy returns just in case their are any issues.
@@artemasoyan have the 7 pro too and got the galaxy watch 3 recently. Its really good only im missing a few features only available on galaxy devices. I cant call or text unless my phones around since it needs bluetooth connection, cant use bloodpressure sensor, and i dont get a messages app so i cant see old messages on the watch but i can still send them. Hopefully this helps you make a decision
Well thanks for your review. Right now I have the Huawei GT2 Pro and it is so nice! the build quality is best ever. titanium case with an Oled Display protected by sapphire glass. Battery lasts forever. But notifications really suck on it * no emojis witch bothers me the most* and the watch is not smart at all. I really want something smarter and I was getting ready to oder me this watch. But now after seeing your video and reading all the comments and #mobvoi screwing people over I‘m not going to buy their watch. I hate it when company’s do shit like that. And I also had the Samsung galaxy watch 3 which I sent back after 2 days. Now coming from the Huawei GT 2 Pro the screen on the GW3 sucks and you think you are looking at a cheap watch. So now the adventure goes again looking for the right watch....Any ideas ?
I'm holding on to my active 2 in hopes for a sick Fitbit/google watch now that google official owns them. and I still have the OG Huawei watch. all stainless steel and sapphire glass....amazing. still my favorite smart watch it doesn't get used but I wish they made wear os watches like that again.
keep in mind that I created this video when the watch was newly released. since that time the watch has received many updates and a lot of the bugs have been squashed. read through the comments for more insight
I had all the same problems you had but only until after the summer came and would have it in the pool (yes I would use speaker/water drain). replaced with ease. was surprised with the quality of their support. I also feel like its performance declines fast the more apps you install. doesnt take long. luckily reset back to factory is quick and easy which will fix a lot of issues

I have the Samsung Galaxy watch 3. The ECG only works with my samsung phone. So I'll be picking this up to go with my Pixel Phone. The reasons he's returning this watch doesn't make since to me... mobvoi is no longer an early adopter watch, they've been around for a minute. I think it's a cool watch it's wear OS so I'll pick up to go with my stock android pixel phone wear my galaxy 3 with my samsung phone.
early device adopter not the company. every new tech release ALWAYS has bugs in the beginning. when it comes to wear OS this is in fact the best smart watch you can get.

To be honest my battery on the Ticwatch Pro 3 is excellent, I charge mine on the 3rd day (including workouts & sleep tracking)

I contacted the Mobvoi support team and the answer was that wetting the watch wasn´t covered by the warranty and they only offered me a 30% discount on another product. This is clearly a scam or fraud.

are you in the USA? I bought it directly from them and on the site I remember it said 30 no hassle returns. I'll look again when I'm on the computer. if you see that I would just start the return yourself since you do it manually anyway and have to wait for there approval

Did you end up buying it again? Noticed a trend with some people that commented around 3 months ago onwards, they seem to be backing the watch now. Maybe they have sorted out a lot of the bugs.

I ended up getting a galaxy watch 3. I still prefer wear os especially for the notifications. if you're going to buy it buy it through Amazon just in case you don't like it

Honestly I don't mind having extra apps and you probably left something on at night, for me the watch lasts about three to 4 days without essential mode

You've disabled the 24hr heart rate monitoring in settings man. 😅 Of course it won't measure the heart rate. The same thing happens in apple watch.
the thing is I enable it and it tries to read and then disables itself. it doesn't stay enabled no matter what. believe me I tried lol

GW3 the only thing Tickwatch has on GW3 is slighty better battery life.
I sent my GW3 back. Battery sucks and wasn’t to satisfied with the display.
should get a wedding band tattoo on your finger. wife can't complain then as its always with you. its also a journeyman secret for the trades as jewelry is a big no no around power tools

Is it a worst screen than the galaxy watch 3 because i had the gear s3 and never got a scratch on the screen so id expect this watch to have a better screen than that old watch
Thank you for this review, one of the things that I wanted to switch to WearOS is because I heard that notifications on WearOS is much better than Samsung watches and also Google assistance. But seeing your review I will just keep my Samsung GW3 and enjoy its consistency until google fixes WearOS. Samsung is been consistent like you said but I just hate Bixby (very slow to respond and text to speech is not accurate most of the time). Also I was hoping that Ticwatch would be a better on the battery life but it seems that I might gain extra day over what I get with GW3 which is not a big deal.

there's definitely some dumb issues with wear OS but most of the weird issues I believe are with the TicWatch. if you're not in a rush I'd wait a little since more companies will come out with more wear os watches with the 4100 processor. the Samsung watches are nice and I'm currently using the active 2 44mm now. what phone are you using?

@@artemasoyan using the Google home assistant for info on a watch is kind of dumb, but if your home is google smart enabled. having the ability to broadcast, turn on lights etc without taking out your phone is nice. Samsung smart watches have always been consistently reliable for me though and buying one used off of a website like swappa can save you a ton of money. if you REALLY need a smartwatch now I'd buy used but in excellent condition and sell when more new wear os options come out from bigger brands. if you're going to buy the tic watch I'd get it from a big brand like Amazon for easy returns just in case their are any issues.

@@artemasoyan have the 7 pro too and got the galaxy watch 3 recently. Its really good only im missing a few features only available on galaxy devices. I cant call or text unless my phones around since it needs bluetooth connection, cant use bloodpressure sensor, and i dont get a messages app so i cant see old messages on the watch but i can still send them. Hopefully this helps you make a decision
Well thanks for your review. Right now I have the Huawei GT2 Pro and it is so nice! the build quality is best ever. titanium case with an Oled Display protected by sapphire glass. Battery lasts forever. But notifications really suck on it * no emojis witch bothers me the most* and the watch is not smart at all. I really want something smarter and I was getting ready to oder me this watch. But now after seeing your video and reading all the comments and #mobvoi screwing people over I‘m not going to buy their watch. I hate it when company’s do shit like that.
And I also had the Samsung galaxy watch 3 which I sent back after 2 days. Now coming from the Huawei GT 2 Pro the screen on the GW3 sucks and you think you are looking at a cheap watch. So now the adventure goes again looking for the right watch....Any ideas ?
I'm holding on to my active 2 in hopes for a sick Fitbit/google watch now that google official owns them. and I still have the OG Huawei watch. all stainless steel and sapphire glass....amazing. still my favorite smart watch it doesn't get used but I wish they made wear os watches like that again.

The major feature of the TicWatchPro 3 is the essential mode. smh
keep in mind that I created this video when the watch was newly released. since that time the watch has received many updates and a lot of the bugs have been squashed. read through the comments for more insight

I had all the same problems you had but only until after the summer came and would have it in the pool (yes I would use speaker/water drain). replaced with ease. was surprised with the quality of their support. I also feel like its performance declines fast the more apps you install. doesnt take long. luckily reset back to factory is quick and easy which will fix a lot of issues

I have the Samsung Galaxy watch 3. The ECG only works with my samsung phone. So I'll be picking this up to go with my Pixel Phone. The reasons he's returning this watch doesn't make since to me... mobvoi is no longer an early adopter watch, they've been around for a minute. I think it's a cool watch it's wear OS so I'll pick up to go with my stock android pixel phone wear my galaxy 3 with my samsung phone.
early device adopter not the company. every new tech release ALWAYS has bugs in the beginning. when it comes to wear OS this is in fact the best smart watch you can get.
