By far the most thorough and well carried out review of the new Ticwatch Pro 3. It would only need a rotating crown, LTE and a sapphire glass and it will find its way to my wrist.
I have been watching this watch from it came but I didn’t see how it functions, so I was on the fence contemplating whether I should get it. What you did by presenting the full functionality of the watch win me over to purchase this watch. Mobvoi should pay you for doing this or perhaps have you on their sales team. Great job Sir.

Great video you can see the lengths you have gone to in executing this great review. My dilemma is I'm now torn between this watch and the Honor Pro. The Honor doesn't appear to have has much versatility as the Ticwatch Pro 3. NFC, replying to messages directly, Google assistance... however it does have 100 sports mode and amazing battery life with heavy usage Wait a minute I learned all this through watching your videos 😄🙌🏿
Dear review author :) I have TWP 4G and I find it very interesting that essential mode offers sleep tracking on TWP 3. Is it coupled with with alarm feature (sound/vibration) of which ticsleep app is capable of? Or maybe alarm can be set with 3rd party app (like Wake Up Well)? You also did not mention that low power display has its independent lighting (or I missed it) What are the possible setting for this light?

Outstanding review!!! I have a question though. Does the watch record day naps? If I fall a sleep watching TV on my couch will it record it? Or only at night? Garmin doesn't do it and this is important for me because of my work/sleep schedule.

Really considering this, wish the video wasn't cut/chopped at bits though like when you press the button to speak to assistant - i need to know how long that delay is... are the constant "sorry, there was an error" messages from assistant finally a thing of the past? Thumbs up non-the less - nice and thorough video :)
When you press the button there is virtually no delay, google assistant pops right up with mic ready. So no delay like you get in previous WearOS watches. Also not experienced any error messages from Assistant so far.
I love your 2020 Smart watch chart and I agree the TWP3 is the best watch to date! You have it listed as using a 20mm band it actually uses a 22mm band. Best, DannyK
Will the watch continue to read the SpO2 level as long as you have the screen open or does it turn off after a certain amount of time? Can you modify the time that it is on? Thank you!
Please do an accessories video ASAP! I returned my Galaxy watch 3 and was about to order an active 2 until is saw the mystery watch in your chart. I saw you listed the processor in your chart and that's how I found out about the new Ticwatch. Also, do you know if it has the 4100+?
I have the original tic watch pro and I also currently have the active 2. I didn't realize how slow it was. Sometimes it would work great, sometimes it wouldn't. Maybe it was down to the chip set. No problems with the active 2. I'll wait until black friday.

Great indepth review. This is the watch for me. I ordered a Garmin Venu last week and was extremely disappointed. Lots of gliches and a screen that refuses to stay on more than 3 seconds.
Could make a video someday to show how to set alerting thresholds of heart rhythm in this device? Such alerts are vitally important to save lives in emergency, you knew. Could you make a video on how to set relevant ECG alerting thresholds? Such thresholds are RR interval, ratio of RR intervals between adjacent cardiac cycles, altitude ratio of R/S waves, duration ratio of R/S waves, QTc (corrected QT), etc. They indicate time limit of the cardiac cycle, ventricular premature beats, atrial premature beats, chances of sudden cardiac death, etc. In addition, what's more important, vitally important, is what measures to be taken when such thresholds are triggered, especially when you are alerted without medical professional/s nearby. These timely emergency measures in time usually save lives.

Great video! This is a quite thorough review I would say. I have a question if I may, is the Ticwatch Pro 3 able to connect to bluetooth devices such as bluetooth earbuds/headphones directly? But not having this update yet makes this watch even more awesome if it comes out. (edit: It seems the fall update with the better performance and batterylife has the COVID handwashing timer. Do you have that on this watch? then you have the fall update i think) (edit2: i saw the handwash timer while you were scrolling through the menu. so i think this is the fall update already :))
One thing I'm concerned with this watch is whether it's actually a good idea to take it swimming or not. It seems a littl iffy and I've heard water damage isn't covered by the warranty. The safe bet is to not use in a pool, but that will be a frequent form of exercise for me.. :(

Great review and finally a Wear OS watch with a decent processor but for me it's too little too late. After seeing how well my sister's Samsung Galaxy Watch performed I went out and ordered a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 because with Wear OS the damage has already been done - I've owned five Wear OS watches: Moto 360, LG Watch Urbane, Ticwatch E, Misfit Vapor 2 and a Ticwatch Pro - all of them were plagued with processor speed issues and because of this I'm steering clear of Wear OS for the foreseeable future.
@@ppeall At the moment this is the only Wear OS watch with this new generation processor so this is the only watch on this platform capable of on par performance with the Galaxy Watch and Apple Watch series! Is there a working Wear OS equivalent to Apple's rotating crown, Samsung's rotating bezel or even the touch sensitive strip that surrounds the bezel of the Galaxy Watch Active 2? What about the quality and power efficiency of Samsung's AMOLED displays? This is what still infuriates me about Wear OS!
Yes, I do wonder if I've jumped a tad early.. If and when there's a new Wear watch with a rotating bezel/haptic ring and similar battery performance, I'll be envious. Especially if it has gorilla glass, extra durability and 5atm. But then, it would probably be out of my price range..
@@ppeall My Misfit Vapor 2 had a rotating crown that worked in about 40% of the apps I had installed on the watch. I just didn't know where to use it and then if the app I was using had rotating crown support I couldn't select the item I'd lined up because the push mechanism on the crown wasn't supported. I ended up ignoring the crown altogether! 🤔
Hi, your video shows the watch can receive incoming calls from the phone app and you can answer and talk back on the watch, but were you able to answer and talk back to incoming calls received from WhatsApp, Line, Viber or other 3rd party social apps? Most phones cannot do this including Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. They can only reply to SMS, text messages from WhatsApp etc on the watch but cannot attend to Bluetooth calls. I would like to know if Ticwatch can before I decide to buy Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS. If cannot then I might as well buy Galaxy Watch 4. Being able to attend to Bluetooth calls from WhatsApp, Line & other 3rd party social apps is a deciding factor to buying a smartwatch for me. Cheers.

I also liked his review but his measurements are way off. The TWP3 is 12.2 mm thick and the TWP202 is 12.6mm

Does it auto-detect workouts, like if you just start walking or running, or do you need to tell it what you're about to do for it to be tracked?
Yes it does have auto workout detection. Its called TicMotion on this watch.

The latest watch is the Ticwatch Pro 3. There are 2 versions Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS and Ticwatch Pro 3 LTE.

Bezel does not rotate and this is the latest and most recent Flagship smartwatch by Ticwatch. If you want WearOS then this is the best watch to get.

Hi Chigz. What's the dimension of Ticwatch 3. 45,1 mm or 47?? I'm confused.
Due to lack of info, I had to measure myself, bezel to bezel its 45.1mm. However the body is slighter bigger underneath so including that its 47mm.

Speed is good, very smooth. You'd be happy with it but defo a tad slower than Tizen. Still, this could improve with updates

Is there a working Wear OS equivalent to Apple's rotating crown, Samsung's rotating bezel or even the touch sensitive strip that surrounds the bezel of the Galaxy Watch Active 2? What about the quality and power efficiency of Samsung's AMOLED displays? This is what still infuriates me about Wear OS!
Yes, I do wonder if I've jumped a tad early.. If and when there's a new Wear watch with a rotating bezel/haptic ring and similar battery performance, I'll be envious. Especially if it has gorilla glass, extra durability and 5atm. But then, it would probably be out of my price range..
@@ppeall My Misfit Vapor 2 had a rotating crown that worked in about 40% of the apps I had installed on the watch. I just didn't know where to use it and then if the app I was using had rotating crown support I couldn't select the item I'd lined up because the push mechanism on the crown wasn't supported. I ended up ignoring the crown altogether! 🤔

Hi, your video shows the watch can receive incoming calls from the phone app and you can answer and talk back on the watch, but were you able to answer and talk back to incoming calls received from WhatsApp, Line, Viber or other 3rd party social apps? Most phones cannot do this including Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. They can only reply to SMS, text messages from WhatsApp etc on the watch but cannot attend to Bluetooth calls. I would like to know if Ticwatch can before I decide to buy Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS. If cannot then I might as well buy Galaxy Watch 4. Being able to attend to Bluetooth calls from WhatsApp, Line & other 3rd party social apps is a deciding factor to buying a smartwatch for me. Cheers.
