300ZX Twin-Turbo VG30DETT Rebuild Timelapse (Part 2)

Timelapse of a VG30DETT rebuild. Rebuilding lifters (all 24, kind of boring) and assembling the heads. Lifters required cleaning/replacement twice due to congealed degreaser. Really this is mostly a video of rebuilding lifters :/

First VG30DE motor, actually. But I've rebuilt Ford and Chevy small-blocks, and VG30Es before.

no shit? thats fucked up!! first time ive heard of sometbing like that. and i feel ya man. my hand felt broken for about a week haha. def a good feeling when its all back together and the only ticking u hear is the fuel injectors =]

The process on those lifters. Kudos to you man.
I take them apart like you do. Each has its own cup with berrymans for 1 hour. Put together and slap back on. Good stuff

Don't remind me. I left them in degreaser too long and it congealed. So I had to clean all of them over again and replaced 4 that were just too gross.

lmfao, ohhhhh the joys of rebuilding lifters haha.. been there, done that, just about broke my hand slapping lifters against 2x4 to releave the check valve body enough to remove with pliers... such a fun job haha
