DIY Manual Sugarcane Press | How to make Sugarcane Juice

In this video we show you how we made a simple homemade sugarcane press from teak and bamboo; and with utilising a hole in our existing stone wall, as leverage! This was our very first homegrown sugarcane harvest, so we decided to create an impromptu homemade sugarcane press, using natural resources that were already available on our land... A bit of trial and error but the result turned out even better than we had imagined!

I find this method to be great and low cost. Only setback here is the time. Sugarcane should be consumed within 5 min in order to absorb the full nutrition of the juice. Beyond this period the juice will begin to oxidize and become a brownish color as shown in this video. GREEN is the goal, its the ultimate sign of freshness and vitality. So please consume freshly cut and freshly squeezed Green cane juice within 5 min
