Battery performance isn't about system but hardware. The software is important, but the X86 architecture, that most Windows laptops use has poor battery performance, and ARM, that Apple M series use, and the new Snapdragon X Elite (most of the Copilot+) has a extremely better battery and performance while unplugged
I travel a lot and my job requires me to to go different place every few months. I’ve been using Mac Air because most windows laptops couldn’t beat it’s perfomance and battery life. If Microsoft could compete in both performance and battery life, I would switch over, cause sometime I want to play some games on Steam.
You could just install windows on your MacBook and be done with it. Why wait until Microsoft delivers more or less identical hardware if you‘ve already got it?

Apps are built for a specific operating system and CPU, you'll need to rewrite the entire app for that CPU if you want it to support for other apps (except apps that doesn't utilize the CPU). You can tweak that in the control panel, create your profile and let things fly. At least for me whether I plug in the charger or not, the performance is the same up until the battery saver is initiated 🤷♂️
Not only is the Surface's design clearly just a MacBook, I'm convinced he had an android logo over the apple logo because it's not even a MacBook. The cover looks strangely similar to the surface, and the hinge looks wrong. Not only that, but there's no apple outline.
I am also going to pre-order the latest Surface Laptop and replace my Mac mini with it. Not only is Copilot plus PC impressive, but I have always preferred Windows for video games. Since I am subscribed to Shadow, it’s perfect for me-plenty of power and battery life to last a long time without charging, while still having access to my Windows in the cloud for gaming.
The thing is: it’s an ARM CPU, you’ll have the same problem gaming on it because most of the games are designed to run on a x86 architecture. There will probably be an emulation layer, however it’ll cost some performances

I don't get how anyone can hate Apple when PCs are now following the path Apple set four years ago. All laptop designs today are just copies of MacBooks. If it weren't for Apple, we'd still be using poorly made plastic laptops with less than four hours of battery life.
Imo its worth to compare them as long as they cost the same. So , if the windows laptop provides more for the same price, then it is potentially a better product even if the other one isnt at its full potential, because then you gotta pay much more. That said, this is not the case since... that windows laptop costs more than the mac. A 699$ macbook m1 air is slower but still outperforms (in some specific appliactions) this windows laptop because of optimization. Arm windows needs more to compete.

Yeah, so hate to break it to u but the x elite only achieves that performance while consuming more than 4x the power of the m3…… (not to mention thats only in extremely specific cherry picked situations considering most windows apps font even natively support arm so ur losing performance through the translation layer)
Not so wild when you realise that M3 has no fans and has a small body and X Elite runs at 3-4 times power draw than MacBook Air. And it's even less impressive when you take into account the MacBook Pro lineup, which has M3 Pro, M3 Max and M3 Ultra. Not to mention all of these will be upgraded to M4 series by the end of the year.
And probably you need to connect it to power to get it and as soon as you remove it, it drops. Macs are more power efficient and that’s what makes it amazing. Not just raw performance.

Really want that laptop, but you making negative videos towards companies discourages me. I use Apple products, but I also want Windows and Android products. Problem is those users are the most negative people online, if you want Apple users to switch to the brand you like, you better show good impressions. (I still want Windows though because they at least have less users bragging about their products)
(I know the reason is the users because I remember, I used to love Samsung phones, I wanted one in the future. My company had a preview unit for testing and all i can say is that it falls far behind what their claims or promises are. They even had to sign a none disclosure agreement, so that tells enough. Just hold on to your money and wait till this thing get properly tested by neutral reviewers.
It "could" not is. Microsoft still need third party software developers to develop native ARM apps. When Apple released first M1 Macs, all their software was done, and most of tier 1 third party apps like Jet Brains and Adobe were already working for some time on theirs products.

Most major apps, adobe apps, browsers, most productivity apps are now native on WoA

I prefer Microsoft Office on Windows, but Mac has Mail which in my opinion is more reliable than Outlook. Mac is also more reliable in general.

I don't get how anyone can hate Apple when PCs are now following the path Apple set four years ago. All laptop designs today are just copies of MacBooks. If it weren't for Apple, we'd still be using poorly made plastic laptops with less than four hours of battery life.

Imo its worth to compare them as long as they cost the same. So , if the windows laptop provides more for the same price, then it is potentially a better product even if the other one isnt at its full potential, because then you gotta pay much more.
That said, this is not the case since... that windows laptop costs more than the mac. A 699$ macbook m1 air is slower but still outperforms (in some specific appliactions) this windows laptop because of optimization. Arm windows needs more to compete.
The MacBook killers are finally here, Apple has had the ARM lead for long now (love them, not shy to say im an Apple fan boy) but competition is good and maybe this will push Apple to be more innovative.
Almost every laptop out there is fast enough for the majority of us, the new windows products are amazing but there is still a huge lack of apps and similar digital tools that are amazing when it comes to need productivity and organization. The new macs are too powerful in hardware but they need to evolve their OS

Yeah, so hate to break it to u but the x elite only achieves that performance while consuming more than 4x the power of the m3…… (not to mention thats only in extremely specific cherry picked situations considering most windows apps font even natively support arm so ur losing performance through the translation layer)
Not so wild when you realise that M3 has no fans and has a small body and X Elite runs at 3-4 times power draw than MacBook Air. And it's even less impressive when you take into account the MacBook Pro lineup, which has M3 Pro, M3 Max and M3 Ultra.
Not to mention all of these will be upgraded to M4 series by the end of the year.
No so wild when you realize you are comparing top tear Snapdragon with low end M3.
And probably you need to connect it to power to get it and as soon as you remove it, it drops. Macs are more power efficient and that’s what makes it amazing. Not just raw performance.

@@beboprovina I use my machine to draw building plans on AutoCAD...and make data base web applications as well as make 3d drawings of mechanical parts for.machine,.run a server, Creates and run virtual.machines and of course release stress after a long day at work playing videogames as well.as having the option to.actually add expandable storage and ram...this requires an actual machine with a good gpu and processor not an overated Apple device with an underpowered mobile phone SoC 🤡🤮 that dumb girls like because it has a an apple logo

Really want that laptop, but you making negative videos towards companies discourages me. I use Apple products, but I also want Windows and Android products. Problem is those users are the most negative people online, if you want Apple users to switch to the brand you like, you better show good impressions.
(I still want Windows though because they at least have less users bragging about their products)

A MacBook is actually one of the best computers they have and I can’t say enough how wonderful it is as a teacher to have all of my files available through the iPad, the MacBook and my iPhone all together as it’s so convenient and reassuring especially for the business that I’m in sorry I’m never going back to Microsoft Windows

My company had a preview unit for testing and all i can say is that it falls far behind what their claims or promises are.
They even had to sign a none disclosure agreement, so that tells enough.

It "could" not is. Microsoft still need third party software developers to develop native ARM apps. When Apple released first M1 Macs, all their software was done, and most of tier 1 third party apps like Jet Brains and Adobe were already working for some time on theirs products.
