It isn't clean until the water comes off of it completely clear. And the more you clean the deeper the cleaning solution / water can get into the carpet. You are literally talking breaking up years (possibly decades) of long term grime buildup. If the video is 25 minutes long, the whole unedited process was probably +3 hours long. This cleaning probably cost double what a new rug would run you.
It’s nice to see a RUclipsr who actually looks trough and responds to his viewers’ comments, not to mention the hard work he puts into his business. Great job.
When you started it didn't seem to be as dirty as many you have cleaned, but then it just kept on and on producing brown dirt. I admire your perseverance and determination to do a top class job.
This is the first rug cleaning video I've seen where someone flipped the rug over and cleaned it from both sides. It always annoyed me when I watched people only do one side?! Amazing work
For those not knowledgable in fabrics, the way that rugs are made makes them incredibly incredibly fibrous and hollow, simple “stains” you could easily get out of clothing in a wash could make their way into a rug all the way through and make them hell to clean, all my respect to you and the people who do this
@@Youre_dumb most normal countries just clean the water and turn it into running water again, forever, it doesnt get dumped into the ocean or vanished from the world
@@caquita402 Actually the only thing you are correct about is it not vanishing from the planet, here in the UK (where this was filmed) the water goes to a waste treatment centre and then to rivers streams and the ocean before beginning the evaporation, rain, collection and treatment for drinking process. Here it is very rare if ever that water is taken from a river below a previous waste treatment plant although there is talk that Londoners may soon have to drink purified waste for the water company to be able to keep up with demand.

I have my doubts. After cleaning the back of the rug, there was still obvious signs of mold stains. Maybe the part was cut out, but clean or not, the mold will return as soon as the conditions are right. And that mold is going to transfer into the floor. And to be honest, the pet that peed on this to begin with is just going to do it again. The rug mimics outside grass too much. If the animal is still alive, I'd suggest switching to a different rug. Hello! I am new to your channel, found ya this week and now 2 of my 4 kiddos ask to see the "dirty carpets getting clean" to relax before bed🤣 My 10 and 6 yr old's try to guess what the color of the rugs will be, after cleaning. Then they see who was right. It's an enjoyable game, at this point. Gonna watch this one with my 6 yr old son now! His name is Micah and he said, "Mommy, we need him to clean our carpets because Gabi Girl (our 5 month old Cane Corso Mastiff puppy), pees on them too much!" Potty training is slooowwww with that one.🤣😫 Anyway, we subbed, love your content and thanks for uploading for all of us to see!! Even a 6 yr old little boy appreciates what you do! Well done!! 😊
@@MountainRugCleaning We can't wait to see it!!! I'll tell them that a special "Guess the color" will be uploaded!! Thanks again and we'll be here from here on out, from the USA. 😊
Awww! That's so cute- (Also, take out your puppy at regular intervals and if they have a peepad in the cage, try to direct them to the cage when they need to go. Helped with my 1 year old shih-poo ^^)
Nice job cleaning this one! It was dark at first but it got way more white at the end. It was so satisfying seeing you remove the water in the rug after cleaning it. Keep up the great work!
These videos are great to watch and it looks so labour intensive, but at the same time it must be super satisfying to see what you take in compared to what you return to the client!
Ah yes, very satisfying. I love your channel. My favorite parts are all the scraping, the manual brushing, the combing, and then the extraction. It hits that tingly spot in my brain lol.
Idk how these videos are helping my depression. Maybe it's the thought that something forgotten and left to rot is being salvaged and turned beautiful again. Maybe it's the asmr. Whatever it is, I greatly enjoy these videos.
This is my first time watching a rug cleaning video after having them recommended to me for so long. Wow. It’s so relaxing. Also, I’m disturbed to imagine how many carpets never get this clean because they can’t be picked up. I’m sure one run through by professional cleaners is nowhere near as thorough as this. It makes me understand the people who refuse to have carpets. But they’re so much cozier! 😔
I'm curious, wouldn't it be easier to wash these rugs on a floor that had holes / a grate so all the excess dirty water can just go straight down into a collection system instead of having to move it all to the back each time? That way it won't keep pooling around the rug either, just drains straight down. The holes could be small so it won't have anything else slip through.
@@heymrmoo no, decided against it because the shampoo washes out too quickly and i cant rug the hose under the rug and squeegee and this is an important part of my process
Obviously your method works for you and that's what's important, but it does seem like a "grate" of some nature would allow the dirty water to drain away instead of getting trapped under the rug. Perhaps a half and half setup where you can wash and scrub on a solid surface and then slide it over to rinse.
Its so cool to see you grow in subscribers so much every day! You really deserve it, the videos genuinely bring me so much peace when I'm feeling anxious or stressed, just some relaxing and satisfying content I can zone out too and just enjoy. Looks gorgeous. Most cleaners would've labeled this clean and left it as is about a quarter of the process in. You went the full way and cleaned both sides. Amazing job
Something that surprised me was that you didn’t overcomplicate the title a lot of people would’ve put everything that happened to this rug since the beginning of time, so glad you didn’t.
It’s so satisfying how each time he does a method of cleaning, and you think it’s clean and then you see how much grime comes out, no matter how much cleaning he does. Insane!
You're so sweet James for the shout out. I'm happy to support your channel. You're my fave! ❤ I liked how you were squishing the rug with your boots. I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I am really impressed with your "cleaning room" and the special flooring you are using while cleaning rugs. You really did a good job on that heavily soiled rug!!!
Absolutely love your video's. The shots and editing are great and love the background music. It's also clear you're a pro in your trade, it looks like you have thought everything through and it shows in your results. You're also the only one I came across so far, who cleans the bottom side of the rug, which makes the cleaning more effective and your vids so much more satisfying to watch. Also really appreciate the ad's in only the beginning and end of your vids. You're an absolute legend.
All that liquid gold from animal showers. That smell must’ve been something that could clear out any sinus issues and probably singe every nose hair you ever had. Wow. You are a rug whisperer. Bravo! Love these videos.
Obsessed with your channel and videos!!! Would love to see a video of you scraping in all directions until there’s no water left, and also longer brushing + raking 😍
Who would have thought there was a rug mixed in with all that dirt? I'm glad you were able to remove the rug so that the dirt can rest easy. There was enough to feed generations of earthworms.
For some reason I really like these videos, I have only watch a couple so far. I used to watch house cleanings of hoarders or people who died. But the channel I watched slowed down on releasing content and I just haven’t gone back to watching. Also just seeing the before and after of the dirty/clean carpet is cool. Also I love the googly eyes on the cleaner thingy.

I love watching these, they are so calming and relaxing. I'd love to see a video on what each of the tools you use does, or what each process is doing in depth. It probably would be a short video and I am probably one of the only people wondering what each of them do specifically in depth, like how the spinning, scrubby soapy machine works and what each step does for the rug, but it would be nice to see how these things work in some sort of video. A comment would probably do though, I shouldn't ask for too much.

His name is Micah and he said, "Mommy, we need him to clean our carpets because Gabi Girl (our 5 month old Cane Corso Mastiff puppy), pees on them too much!" Potty training is slooowwww with that one.🤣😫
Anyway, we subbed, love your content and thanks for uploading for all of us to see!! Even a 6 yr old little boy appreciates what you do! Well done!! 😊
Amazing to hear your all enjoying the videos. Ive got a good guess the colour rug coming up in the next few weeks.
@@MountainRugCleaning We can't wait to see it!!! I'll tell them that a special "Guess the color" will be uploaded!! Thanks again and we'll be here from here on out, from the USA. 😊
@@housewifeuntilheaven1593 Thankyou for following
can you bust it open for a player ;)
Awww! That's so cute-
(Also, take out your puppy at regular intervals and if they have a peepad in the cage, try to direct them to the cage when they need to go. Helped with my 1 year old shih-poo ^^)
I wonder what half of these rugs back story’s are to be so bad. Great job!
Nice job cleaning this one! It was dark at first but it got way more white at the end. It was so satisfying seeing you remove the water in the rug after cleaning it. Keep up the great work!
I was hoping that I would see more dirt coming out of that rug. But you definitely are detailed in your cleaning. I can respect that.
Don't know how I got here but I'm happy to see this rug has a 2nd chance at being in someone's room rather than being scrapped :)
These videos are great to watch and it looks so labour intensive, but at the same time it must be super satisfying to see what you take in compared to what you return to the client!
Fantastic job on this rug (as usual)!! Bet the customer is more than happy! WELL DONE and I thoroughly enjoy your vlogs!!
Thanks so much! Customer hasnt had it back yet but im sure hes watching this video.
Nothing beats a shaggy rug... thank you I needed this today...
Thankyou for watching
Ah yes, very satisfying. I love your channel. My favorite parts are all the scraping, the manual brushing, the combing, and then the extraction. It hits that tingly spot in my brain lol.
Awesome! Thank you! So glad you find them satisfying. I still have a long way to go to get them perfect
Dear GOD…I would’ve ditched that rug at the first sight of it (and first smell of it too!!!!) GREAT WORK!!!
Yes im thinking about doing something like this soon
@@MountainRugCleaning it's been 4 months, have you done something about it?
@@heymrmoo no, decided against it because the shampoo washes out too quickly and i cant rug the hose under the rug and squeegee and this is an important part of my process
@@MountainRugCleaning rip
Obviously your method works for you and that's what's important, but it does seem like a "grate" of some nature would allow the dirty water to drain away instead of getting trapped under the rug. Perhaps a half and half setup where you can wash and scrub on a solid surface and then slide it over to rinse.
Congrats to the rug for being so cooperative and being there
out of every rug cleaning channel i've watched, you have the nicest filming and shot setups. love your content!!!
Thankyou, i was beginning to wonder if its all worth it. Some channels do well without it.
Its so cool to see you grow in subscribers so much every day! You really deserve it, the videos genuinely bring me so much peace when I'm feeling anxious or stressed, just some relaxing and satisfying content I can zone out too and just enjoy. Currently my favorite channel on RUclips, and like I said, it's making me so happy to see your channel grow, I can't wait till we hit 100k!!! You for sure deserve it!
Im always amazed when i hear the channel is a favorite of somebodys. Really drives me to make more quality content and to think the channel helps to relax people as well, is so rewarding. Thankyou for your kind words and encouragement.
@@MountainRugCleaning man u make amazing vids. Im subbing
Imagine now, 1,39 million subscribers
Looks gorgeous. Most cleaners would've labeled this clean and left it as is about a quarter of the process in. You went the full way and cleaned both sides. Amazing job
Great job! I suggest you weigh the carpets before and after cleaning for comparison as well. Cheers!
I watched the entire video felt like my soul was cleaned, very therapeutic ❤️
Something that surprised me was that you didn’t overcomplicate the title a lot of people would’ve put everything that happened to this rug since the beginning of time, so glad you didn’t.
It’s so satisfying how each time he does a method of cleaning, and you think it’s clean and then you see how much grime comes out, no matter how much cleaning he does. Insane!
Makes you respect the grind.
You're so sweet James for the shout out. I'm happy to support your channel. You're my fave! ❤ I liked how you were squishing the rug with your boots. Lol The slow mo of the rake is awesome because you can see all the little bristles working their way through rug. So cool!
I'm sure your customer was very satisfied. This rug is such a beautiful gray. I bet he put it back in his house! Lol Fantastic job. ❤❤👏
You are so welcome. Its the least i can do. Im sp happy to be your favorite. I havent given the rug back to the client yet but im sure hes seen the video. Thanks again
@@MountainRugCleaning Of course love. ❤ I know your customer is gonna be thrilled. 😃 Have a great weekend. 🌞🙋♀️⭐️
Not even Mr. Clean can clean that rug up as good as you did
Kudos to this dude, trying to endure the reek of old pet urine while working hard to clean this rug (I have a pet dog too so I know how old urine smells)
Same here, just instead of dogs, its male cats, in our front yard, all the time. Unforgettable stench.
If I did the job you do and I saw that, I would quit my job immediately, this was so awesome that you still cleaned this even after how messy it was, good job 👍
I love that you always use good amounts of water!! Great result!!
Thanks so much for the shout out. Loving being a member ❤️
Another amazing transformation! Great job!
I really appreciate that through your videos you are helping educate people into realising we do not need to live such disposable lives. Things we throw away can quite often be saved.
Hope you and your family have a fantastic weekend.
Thankyou Michelle. I am always taling about how oure recycling system in the uk needs much improvement. But if i can help people save some rugs from the tip then im happy with that. Have a great weekend.
Can you do a dry weigh-in before and after? I’d love to know how many pounds of crud you remove!
That would be cool to know
The amount of dedication this guy has to clean these rugs is crazy
I need a whole video of just soapy carpet brushing, especially on shaggy rugs 😩 so satisfying
Coming soon!
Quality of entertainment and filming getting better from earlier videos, well done.
Thankyou. Much appreciated!
I Stumbled upon this channel( I don’t know how, but IM HERE!!) and I was amazed on how he takes the most dankest carpets ever, and they come out looking brand new. I respect the amount of time he puts into cleaning these rugs.
I never thought I'd watch a video of someone cleaning a rug. It turned out to be a very relaxing and interesting video. I've just subscribed. And thank you for sharing.
Thankyou for subbing. You're welcome
OMG my favourite video of yours! The brushing, the rinsing, the drying... mesmerizing! Thank you! Regards from Italy (... sorry for the bad english)
Thank you so much! Glad you really enjoyed the video. I must be getting better.
@@MountainRugCleaning You are awesome in your job! 👏
How wonderfully satisfying to have the right tools for the right job.
I am laughing at my self watching this. On a Friday night at 8pm in rural Texas. Sitting here in bed with my dogs, a mutt and a Pyrenees and a husband, all asleep. I must be getting old.😁
your videos are always amazing! you make things clean and nice and it honestly helps my ocd thanks!
Thankyou and youre welcome 😚
Honestly, I would’ve just bought a new rug, but amazing cleaning, like that’s insane results.❤
makes you wonder how much it actually is to get cleaned like this, then how much it cost for all the cleaning products lol, maybe it is worth just buying a new rug
Owner: wow the rug looks brand new
Dog: 😉
Humane society: 😀👋
Just found your videos. Very satisfying. Man, you have a sturdy work ethic. I would have given up on that rug. Loved the transformation.
Awesome, thank you!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I am really impressed with your "cleaning room" and the special flooring you are using while cleaning rugs. You really did a good job on that heavily soiled rug!!!
A fantastic job again James.. always enjoy watching your vlogs. Amazing transformations every time. Well done 🤩
Thanks so much louise 😊Love to see youre using the emoji's 🙂
Absolutely love your video's. The shots and editing are great and love the background music. It's also clear you're a pro in your trade, it looks like you have thought everything through and it shows in your results. You're also the only one I came across so far, who cleans the bottom side of the rug, which makes the cleaning more effective and your vids so much more satisfying to watch. Also really appreciate the ad's in only the beginning and end of your vids. You're an absolute legend.
I appreciate your kind comments. Ive only been cleaning rugs for 5 months so i wouldn't consider myself a pro just yet, but i am through.
@@MountainRugCleaning It doesn't show you've only been doing it for a short time! And can't wait to see how you'll even improve over time 😊
All that liquid gold from animal showers. That smell must’ve been something that could clear out any sinus issues and probably singe every nose hair you ever had.
Wow. You are a rug whisperer. Bravo! Love these videos.
Scrubbers just can’t believe how dirty this rug actually is !! Amazing transformation
Thankyou. Even i was surprised at how much dirt was in this rug.
Obsessed with your channel and videos!!! Would love to see a video of you scraping in all directions until there’s no water left, and also longer brushing + raking 😍
I love that youre really enjoying the videos. Of course i can do this for you. Ill also do some compilations of each process soon.
The brushing gives life
Who would have thought there was a rug mixed in with all that dirt? I'm glad you were able to remove the rug so that the dirt can rest easy. There was enough to feed generations of earthworms.
For some reason I really like these videos, I have only watch a couple so far. I used to watch house cleanings of hoarders or people who died. But the channel I watched slowed down on releasing content and I just haven’t gone back to watching. Also just seeing the before and after of the dirty/clean carpet is cool.
Also I love the googly eyes on the cleaner thingy.
Hey thankyou for watching. I do have a few satisfying vidoes, if i do say so myself. Try out the maggot rug. Im glad your enjoying the videos.
I have sensory issues and am very sensitive to smell, I could never do this lol. Props to you for doing something I’m sure no one else wanted to do 😅
I'm bored, I am gonna do everyone (WHO'S FAVE PART IS THE SCRAPER) the best favor in the world...

Thank you 😭
Thanks
I love watching these, they are so calming and relaxing. I'd love to see a video on what each of the tools you use does, or what each process is doing in depth. It probably would be a short video and I am probably one of the only people wondering what each of them do specifically in depth, like how the spinning, scrubby soapy machine works and what each step does for the rug, but it would be nice to see how these things work in some sort of video. A comment would probably do though, I shouldn't ask for too much.
Yes i can go into a bit more detail in aome videos. Im going to be adding captions soon. But if you have a specific machine you have any questions about, fire away.
@@MountainRugCleaning Thanks! I can't wait to get captions and details on the machines and processes. I found one of your videos randomly on my home page and I don't regret it. I subscribed a few minutes into the video I watched and continued to watch it along with lots of your other ones. Thank you so much for getting back to me, keep doing a great job! Your videos definitely help me fall asleep and feel relaxed. Its also incredible to see how much these rugs transform after you clean them!
@@divinity1649 Youre more than welcome. Its great to know how much you are all enjoying the videos. I have some more short, satisfying, fast paced videos coming up to add to the schedule that i hope can be enjoyable too. Loads of improvements coming up, for the regular videos too. Hope you like.
@@MountainRugCleaning I enjoy all of your videos, and I am sure everyone else does too! We all can't wait to see more great rug cleaning videos in the near future, as well as some cool additions to the videos!
umarım kullandığın suyu tekrar arıtıp diğer yıkamalarda onu kullanıyorsundur yoksa kuraklığa sebep sen olacaksın başkaları temiz halılarda oturacak diye gelecek nesil susuz kalamaz
I love your swirls you put in with the soap!! Keep it up!!
Love your vids and your kind and open attitude! That’s why I subscribed! You are as calming as the washing!! (GOOGLIE eyes!! Love them too!!)
Aww thats sweet. Thankyou. I am quite a mellow fellow 😆
as someone who hates cleaning or doing anything productive
im super impressed how you had the patience to do this like i wouldve poured water on it and called it a day 😭😭😭
As always the shampooZENcircle is something mystic!!! Love this great job!!! BRAVO!!!
Thank you so much!
Me at the 3 minute mark: Oh wow he's nearly done, why is the video 25 mins long? 🤔
So much work, well done. Can't imagine what a service like this costs, must be a valuable rug.
I randomly saw this video and after watching it i was amazed
Keep up the good work
First time watching one of your videos. I was not expecting to be so entertained by someone cleaning a rug, I enjoyed it very much! I'll definitely be watching more of them!
That's brilliant. I cant ask for more than that. Thankyou for watching
If I could, I would pay him over 100 million just get a carpet done. His work is amazing.
I watch your videos all the time! I find them really satisfying especially when I’m stressed! I watch them all the time with my mom! I support your career! Have a nice day!
