Really like your channel, and the slug! Can't wait to see your footage of the up coming Tahoe trip. I grew up in Vacaville and we took family vacations up there. I have a California Clipper body on a 62' pan, I'm the second owner. The original owner did the build when the bug body got rusted out in the 70's. Keep up the great work!
Rough ride? If your tires are inflated to whatever it says on the sidewall it's too much for a light weight buggy. Start with the recommended pressures for a stock beetle.
Very true! Acquiring a body is gonna require me selling my current motorcycle, which I hate to do but at the same time I have more fun with my dune buggy then I do my bike. So it’s worth it I guess. 🤷♂️

You are absolutely right! My tires were way over inflated!
I like that the new owners are trying to advance the company into better production but the price increases are crazy .
I agree. The direction is great and yes the prices are high.
The Manx buggies are totally awesome but keep in mind you can have just as much fun in a clone buggy. Just saying.

Dude, bring your dune buggy to Big Bear, you’ll never regret it. If you don’t you will regret no participating in the off road runs.
I attended Pismo and there were a lot of members buggies with open seats. My plan is to ride with someone! Next year my plan is to bring my new buggy!
@@justjoshin209 great idea, that’s how I got started, the ride-a-long works 👍
Mexican 1000 is staged race that just happened. Baja 1000 is the non-stop race. ...if I'm not mistaken.
Hey thanks for the clarification!
