Actually Gamers Nexus did a test on Legion pre-builts, god awful thermals.
It's low(er) end hardware, it doesn't matter. Austin's PC definitely had more than enough airflow for all that.
@@ibapreppie Gamers Nexus were dealing with a different case though. The case in this video I can't tell if the front is mesh or mesh behind glass.

Yeah but the actual seller they used on Wsh was VIP Outlet that's a legit US base company, and even selling refurbished products they can be a bit overpriced.

7:38 That is exactly my PC build! Its good to see someone pairing an APU with a GPU. A lot of people consider that to be a waste of money. But I feel if you are low on budget.....first get the APU, game on it....when you have saved some more....get the GPU. Thats what I did. Maybe a wrong move....dunno.
Nah that’s typical minimum spec gamer behaviors, I was like that till I said screw it and saved up a bunch of money and bought a power house I wanted to build it but it was gonna cost an extra $1000usd to build which sucked I like to build my own pc’s, my first pre-built ever and I been building PC’s since 1995

Unfortunately all sales are "as is" on Craigslist and are at your own risk so there really isn't anything he could do to get the money back.
@@Joreel well you could always message the seller, for instance I bought a gaming laptop from craigslist, it ended up not working. I then messaged the seller and he gave me a refund. If the seller doesn't respond, they are scammers.
i sold a 1050ti on fb. the buyer tried it and it failed. guy said that i sold him a bad gpu. he ended up trying it again and it worked. i was willing to give him a refund and or hook it up to my pc as i know it worked until it left my hands.
Austin perfectly demonstrated why some people are trash and you should only buy parts when some kind of protection exists. So you don't end up wasting time, money, and any last shred of faith you have in humanity.
Nah he demonstrated how to be a dumbass as a buyer. There was clearly something wrong with the card. Either test it don't buy it at all
Last time I bought a used GPU I went to the guys house, saw it worked and pulled it out from the PC.

Did Austin maybe break the fan in the gpu with the compressed air? I know I’ve done that before myself. Remember to hold the fins and don’t let them spin independently when using any kind of compressed air.
Fan is mechanical. The card would still work, it just would overheat.

Those small form factor 1060s will actually wiggle like that when they're getting power but not actually communicating with the pc. Makes me think that it's most likely a bios issue rather than a broken card... Maybe a mining bios flashed to it?
Source: built a lenovo tiny pc with an i5-4690, an external sff 1060, and (definitely the coolest part) a coolermaster mars sticking out the top.
Bro what are you on about. They’re supposed to do that when they aren’t hot so the fan in unnecessary. If they actually ran a game on it and the card heated up then the fan will start spinning.
@@ILuxzion as soon as you power on the pc, the card should spin up. If the card has power but isn't communicating with the pc at boot, then it'll wiggle.

Also you are using a Ryzen 3200G. You didnt need to buy a graphics card. Integrated graphics on the 3200 G.
I just ran CB R23 on my 3200G with no added GPU and got a higher score than Austin with his 1080 ti
